Monty walked faster than Joker and Eldin, getting to their new car. It was a dark tinted car with the button code on the side of the driver's door. Pressing the codes, the door opened and he got in, turning it on and waiting as Joker with Eldin came up to the car. "From here we are going to the safe house. We'll call Dusk and Kyoshi to let them know where we are and from there we figure out what the hell is going on." He growled.

The angel blinked and frowned, slightly confused. One thing was clear was that Kalore was taken but way he was taken took a bit for him to digest. "This is seriously messed up." he muttered trying to work this situation in his head.

Slowly stroking the man's cheek, Dusk bit her lip gently. "Kyoshi... the guards don't seem to know it, but what they're describing... it's like Monty. If word gets out about that, which by now I wouldn't be surprised about anything, then he's going to be summoned and that's going to be bad." She gently leaned against him, her own worry beginning to come up a bit more than she wanted. "I don't know what's happening. Kalore's been taken, and now we have mages searching for Rave. No one can track him. I mean... he's so damn powerful, so I wouldn't expect to find him if he didn't want to be found but... his office was trashed. He was taken. I know he was." She gently gripped his arms, her nails digging in a bit more. Who had thought that Rave could be taken? Of all people... "And no one's heard anything about Kit. I've had everywhere checked, even the bases. She's nowhere."

Getting in beside Joker, Eldin fell silent once more, glancing out the window. "Do you.... do you have any ideas on what's possibly going on?" He looked at the two men, frowning some. "I mean... has anything like this happened with you guys before?" Eldin didn't know much about what Gambler's group did before Dusk got involved, but surely if they were some form of group then kidnappings happened? Didn't stuff like that happen to groups like that? Why were they being targeted this time?

Sighing softly, Dusk shook her head, "I know, Kyoshi... I mean, I know that Monty wouldn't do something like this but we need to make sure that no one thinks that he's done this. If they think that... Kyoshi, you know how far we've come in getting the elves to accept others. We've come so far... I don't want to lose that now. Damnitt, I can't lose all that I've worked for!" She got a bit louder before turning and beginning to pace. this was getting ridiculous. "I'll find someone to see if they can track magic or something... I... I'm starting to have my own suspicions, but I'm not totally sure on much of anything anymore."

Flinching, Eldin nodded and sunk a bit in his seat. "A-Alright." He wouldn't say anything else. Panic? Did Monty think he wasn't already panicking? The tan elf was currently as pale as snow, silent for the duration of the trip. This was bad. This was really, really, really bad.

"Kyo, calm down." Gently touching the man's cheek, Dusk frowned as she watched him. hell, she was just as mad as the man was, but that didn't mean s**t, really. What needed to be done, however, was that they had to keep calm and figure out just what was going on. "I'll see if I can get contact with Raul and his group. Edward can check Hell for a bit, Cassandra can check our realms, and we can just see what we find. I've asked everyone I know about what's going on and no one knows anything. Not like anyone's going to spill... but.... do you have a tracker that you know? We need to start finding our people."

Eldin was silent for a long time, only nodding when Joker opened the door and motioned for him to follow. Doing so, he glanced over before giving just the slightest smile. "A-Alright." Anything was better than being cooped up in that car with the demon. Then again, it was that demon who was helping him...

Dusk watched the other, feeling something in her… harden, almost. She knew why he was being curt, understood it completely, but that didn’t stop the fact that she was trying to help, damn him! All of them were confused, maybe even to the point of being scared.

“I will speak to him. Alone, Kyoshi. You get to Monty and find out if he knows anything. Tell him what I told you. There may be demon involvement. See if anyone wants to frame him or anything. That’s what this seems like. I will check the elves. I’m sure he has enemies that would be smart enough to do this. Monty’s not exactly the nicest prince around.” She began to walk away, grabbing her leather jacket. No longer did she look like the queen, but instead looked like the thief that she had been when the two had first met. It seemed old habits die hard. “I’ll find what I need to. Get back to me if you find anything.”

Eldin nodded, looking around the bare-bone house. “I’m sure he is… somewhere in a pinky or something like that.” No matter what happened, the other probably wouldn’t ever get along with the demon. Monty probably wouldn’t ever get along with the elf either. “We’re sitting here and waiting, right?” Eldin glanced over, the worry still in his eyes. He wanted to know what was happening. But, then again, they all wanted to know just what was plaguing them this time.

Moving through the halls, Dusk knew who she wanted to confront. If those that were targeted were those that she knew, they also had to be someone that knew all of them as well. There were only so many people that all of them knew that had a problem with anyone. There were those of her old group, but none were able to do that and none hated anyone in the group. There were those that were like Monty, demons and probably hating the world. She couldn’t do anything about them. but she could go to the door of an old council member that always seemed to have an issue with things. “Kristopher… Open up!”

Eldin nodded, leaning back as he sat down comfortably on the chair. “I’m sure we’ll find her, Joker… but…” He sighed, shaking his head some. “I’m just not sure on who would take her. Kit’s done nothing wrong to anyone that I know of.” Hell, he couldn’t even think of anyone that had issues with all of them. This was just… weird.

“I know, Joker. That’s what I was saying.” The man couldn’t help but smile just a bit as Joker spoke about Kit. The two really didn’t get along very well, but Eldin couldn’t think of a person that had any reason to hurt Kit. The woman really was a nice girl, though she was vindictive as hell. That was okay, though. It meant that she was able to handle herself. She worked at a bar, so of course she could handle herself. “I know that we’ll find her, though. I mean, if she’s gone then I’m sure she’ll make herself known in some way or another. Kit’s not going to let someone just grab her. She’s too strong for that.” Nodding a bit to himself, Eldin listened before a gasp came from him. Kyoshi had come out of freaking nowhere!

Falling a bit to the side, his eyes were wide. “U-Um…” Watching the other, Eldin just pointed. “Th-There…. Um…. How did you do that?!” Being around all these powerful people was beginning to make him go mentally insane, and he knew it.

The scream caused Eldin to cover his ears again. “Damn it, Joker! Please stop that!” Snapping at him, he instantly huddled a bit. He didn’t want to yell at anyone, didn’t want to seem like he actually knew what all was going on… But still. Watching the actions in frnt of him, a frown found home on his lips. “But… But he wouldn’t do something like that…” No matter how much he disliked Monty and Kalore, he knew that the two wouldn’t actually hurt anyone without real reason. Monty kidnap Kalore? Maybe for some intimate game or something, but he doubted anything malicious with it. “Why… Why do they think him, sir?” It just made no sense.

Pacing back and forth, Dusk snarled as Kristopher seemed too damn calm about all this. “Your son is missing, Kristopher.” “I have no son, my Queen. I have one who is related to me by blood, but he is hardly considered my son.” Her eyes narrowed as she turned on him, exasperated. “He’s missing, Kristopher. If anything, you should care that our top people are being attacked. One innocent citizen and two high ups.” Kristopher sighed, standing straight and watching the woman. “I understand the problem… But I doubt Sir Rave will allow himself to be held hostage. Unless someone found a way to block off shadows, he can’t be contained. The citizen… I don’t understand why she would be taken. Kalore probably made an enemy somewhere. Have you checked with all suspects?”

Dusk now stopped a bit. They only had one that they could name, but she wasn’t saying that. “We don’t know.” “What of the demon?” She rounded on him, baring her teeth. “Monty actually gives a s**t about Kalore. You think he’d just kill him off?” Kristopher shrugged. “No… but he is a demon, my queen. It could all be trickery.” He backed off the subject fast, though. No need to anger the rogue woman. “I will send my spies out for their information and see what they can find. It seems like we are dealing with someone who wishes to scare us.” “then get to it. I want to be alerted of everything that happens, am I clear?” “Yes, my queen.”
