Karrot stopped short with a realization.
"What is the problem, Karrot?"
"I forgot to go back to tell the people I was with what I was up to."
They both hurried back to the Nocturne and Karrot went back inside.
When he came back into the room he looked around at the people within.
"I must find and calm those who will awaken... the one who is to be... awakened... I don't know who they are, My associate may be able to help locate the area where those who still need help, but he cannot pinpoint their locations. Can any of you aid us?"

Remus was careful to keep silent as Troden spoke. He was itching to do damage. He wanted so badly to destroy this creature in front of him.

I am SOOOOO sorry guys....I couldn't handle it anymore, I just needed to stop and take a breath because I'd over extended myself and felt like I was going to snap. I think I'm better now and I'm back and ready for action....and itching to find out where we are so I can jump back in....so....am I forgiven? *cringe*

[All understandable, and since I've been dealing with crap, college and life I understand even more so. It will take me a few more days to begin posting again, so Fieran will be saving the rp for a while lol She's the co-threadmaster anyway so...yeah. Sorry I can't stay on right now, but I'm just really stressed out... If you have any questions about where Signet or Awakening and even the Mind rp, just talk to Fieran. [Hmm...I have a computer again, so I guess I'll retract my last statement...for atleast a little while. lol I hope everyone minds if I breeze through this for a bit. I jsut want to get Moneko Awkaned ASAP and then Vincent and Firos Awakening will be a snap. I hope all of you are prepared for part two, which will be in Insert Name Here.]
Lina held back the urge of to choke him as he spoke with an effort that was evident on her face. Yes, she knew it would be a challenge to speak to the Rajen, but the calm he had gained from whatever transformation he had went through was unnerving. He was to calm and collected...something a Sulla should never have. It then that they were the most dangerous.
She decided to play along with this madness and talked more about the men he would so desparately need in the future, "Ashra's curse has caused damage for everyone Troden. It releases every inhibition you have in your mind and quite effectively drives you insane. You were freed from that curse by Othello merely because you were on the Lotus side of the battle, but you men were not. They are still free to do what they will and the fact that you ordered them away from a battle with their enemies must still be going on in their minds." she took a step forward and gave her classic cold grin, "What will happened if they think their great Rejen Leader has become weak Troden? What happens if they think you ran away from a fight without a plan out of fear for the Lotus? You will die then Troden because not even a great Sulla as yourself can hold off from their numbers for very long." she let that stick, staying quiet for a long moment before saying, "I know your siblings can hear me. They must help us as well for it is their duty as an apprentice to do so."

Troden oddly looked neither angry nor at a loss from what was being said. The moment when Lina began to call him weak he made a small grin that could be equally filled with amusement and malice, but even that faded into his former mask.
Once she was done, he looked away from the group infront of him and light began to pace, his demeanor calm and almost lazily as he thought of what was said. Yes, he had long since realized that something was different about his men, a growing tension whose fuse was getting shorter and shorter by the second. He never gave his reasons for calling them off and didn't plan on doing it anytime soon for even he didn't understand why he didn't let the fight commence.
The consequences of his actions did not have to be explained by this lapdog of the Ten, it was an insult to his intelligence. But of course Lina already knew this...
Troden stopped his relaxed pacing as Kanna and Tien appeared nearby, their gaze fixed upon him. He already knew without being told that they were also caught in this web for they were even more honorbound to the Ten than he would ever let himself be. It was all up to him apparently. And he would use this small ground as an advantage.
"You still haven't told why the Ten so desparately need my help dear Lina..." he said, his black eyes locking with her now grey eyes, "Why hasn't the apprentice of the great Queen of Light have the ability to Awkane her own master? Don't tell me that the group you so graciously call an organization does have the capability to do such a thing without me...How sad. I almost thought of seeing you as my equal..."
"We have no time for this brother," Tien said in his rare moments of wisdom, "If the Ten need our help, then we have no choice but to go. Even you."
"Tien, be aware of who you are talking to. I broke away from being Lotan's slave long ago," Troden answered, "Besides, they have waited for many a milennia to Awaken. A few more minutes will not harm them and I am sure that I am not the only one curious as to how the Ten could be injured." he was answered by his brother's silence.

[Yep. A smart Troden is an annoying Troden.... lol I love you Fie! xd ]
It was almost an artform in the way Troden could produce such anger from the usually so calm Lotus Leader. No matter how small the subject or how grave, he just had to get the upperand in some way, shape or form and to have to play hostess to his demands just for him to actually help them on a quest he rightfully could walk away from was maddening. But someone had to do it. He was right not to give an answer when he was clearly not given the whole story and also right in the reguards that the Lotus were temporarily reeling from Salen and the other's betrayal to do anything useful...
She closed her eyes, breaking the ever-firey glance Troden gave her. It was only more pronounced in his new dragon form. Mother give me strength... "A small group of powerful vampires used the chaos of the spell to use on of their own in their madness," she began, her play on words slowing giving the strength to practically lie in the Rajen Leader's face, "They used a book of unbalanced darkness, one that only held negative aspects as opposed to the conventional good and evil in darkness. Taking a spell from this book, they wanted to create a power that matched Ashra's spell to destroy the beings who would soon 'control' them, the Ten. But as the spell was to take place, our battle and the calming spell that saved us also washed upon them, causing them to lose their concentration and therefore their control over the dark spell. It backfired, not just stripping them of their powers, but it also atacked the Ten as planned. They were injured by this of course, but the Ten are alive."
She folded her arms, a deep sigh escaping her lips, "As you know Troden, to do such an act is unforgivable in the eyes of the Ten. They quickly found and killed these poor souls after they told their story. You have your information now. It is time to get moving."

Her convincing act was enough for Troden to be interested and well satisfied...for now. He knew for a fact that they would never give him the entire story, it would be a stupid move that Lina wasn't dumb enough to take, but just how much was the truth and how much was a lie?
He stayed silent for a few moment longer as his thoughts turned fromthe story and back to the true matter at hand. He didn't like the fact that he had no choice in this matter for his men was a factor who could not do without. If only they were not under Ashra's sway...
He frowned for a moment before nodding, "Under one condition. I am not stupid enough to walk within any sacred tomb without being assured that the Ten will not attempt to kill me. Ever. That is what I want or you can kiss your beloved Leaders goodbye for I can always take my time and obtain another Rajen army while you cannot afford to waste your time."

Othello shot a glare at Troden, his nostrils flared in cool outrage. "We aren't the ones wasting our time. You're the one wasting ours, and everyone else's as well. Speaking of waste, you might have been dead already had you not had this particular purpose to the Ten. It would be a poor repayment to turn your back on them. The Ten will not kill you should you cooperate properly, but otherwise, you're on your own and whether that will be good enough to survive or not remains to be seen."

Bell leaned against a tree and watched as Troden made his compromise to the situation. Her mind then wandered off in time to hear her sister.
"Why aren't they fighting?" Jen looked at the two sides with confusion and back at her older sister. "It doesn't make sense, they should be killing each other."
Bell laughed and shook her head slightly before walking over to Troden's side, but not saying anything. She looked over Lina, but dared not to look at Troden. "You have no reason to say what you have." Bell glared down at Othello, "Even if it is time being wasted, it's being wasted on both sides. If I were you I would keep my mouth shut, such large mouths have a way of being hushed." Her eyes narrowed slightly, but she made no threatening moves torward the man.
