Just when I thought my day couldn't get any worse.

Dropped my DS, snapped the cover for the power light off and broke the hinge. Now i've got to send it to Nintendo-it could be two weeks before I get it back. In the meantime I've got to use my little brother's half-broken Original DS.

Sorry for swearing, really, but gonk

Oof, I don't blame you for swearing. Right now I could do with some because I hate the bosses in X4 with zero, none of the weaknesses work for him like they do for X.

I don't like that ya know.

Considering the DS is supposedly super durable, I hear A LOT of "my DS is broken" stories.

I've dropped mine plenty of times.
The only thing wrong with it is a tiny tiny TINY chip out of the corner. neutral

Yeah, i'm not buying the durability thing. Well, actually it's alright as long as you don't drop it.

Trenn's right.

I remember a few months back my nephew had gotten into my room and messed with my classic DS, and the hince part cracked. I was PISSED. That was when I had to upgrade to Lite.

Of course I knew I had wanted t get a new one sometime soon, but I wouldn't have ahd to speed up the process if my folks weren't too damn careless to keep an eye on the kid!

I always fear for my stuff whever I'm away from the room cause of that.

Now everyone is awake. Hooray!

The question now is, to cheat or not to cheat?

Yeah, I suppose it would be pretty sad if your DS just crumbled when you tried to press "start" or something. sweatdrop

Maybe durability...counts mostly for the hardware and not the casing?
Ionno.

Have you thought of getting a lock and key for your room? Or something of the like?
