"I'm glad to help dear one." Remus motioned for Milan to accompany him in a different direction. "Please excuse him, he can be rather tactless when it comes to subjects he knows nothing about." Remus dearly hoped Lina could explain to Quinn that he didn't really feel this way, but that it would be the only way to keep him from Milan's temper.

Quinn kept silent, his ears taking in the sounds around him. He heard Remus's words about him, and they weren't entirely false. He did have a genuine lack of tact when it came to subjects that he didn't fully understand. But in the sense of Wizarding, a spell such as the one Ashra cast was considered madness.
He watched the six approach and took note of Lina's sudden silence. Something bad had happened. All the while, he contemplated what a conversation with Tien would be like. The conversation with Kanna would be worse, of course. And from there, Troden would make the other two look like Child's play. What to do...that was always the question.

(Lodael.... crap... I swear I had a character named Lodae, it's the purple giant mage guy that is the Brothers combined.... I need to bring him back around...later.) " Good, I'm glad you're all right." Karrot walked over to the unconcious man and extended his hand, the pale green glow extended to cover Lodael.

"Tactless...that isn't the word I was thinking," Milan muttered, but it was apparent that this did please her, "He doesn't understand Ashra's ways, none of you really do for you haven't been with him a long as my family has." she stopped herself from going any further and looked straight into his eyes, "I will stand by Ashra no matter what. As you will for Lady Lina." she then turned around, her head tilted in a show if pride as she went to follow Lina and the fool.
Lina looked on as they moved into the training room and followed them quietly, her hands straying to her sides where her swords lay. She watch as the room changed from its usually blank interior to a place of darkness, torches filling the room with an eerie light as the six entered, each of them standing around a large alter that was glowing with an inner light. They did not move as Lina entered the room, nor did they speak. They just stood there as if waiting for something...

Remus sighed inwardly at Milan's reaction. Although it wasn't unexpected or ungrounded, he was still a bit annoyed. He followed her, as she followed Lina, and when they wound up in the training room, his annoyance turned to unease. He kept looking around warily, his hands hovering inconspicuously near his guns.

[You did? lol I had no idea...]
Daella folded his arms, and sighed in relief as Lodael awoke, his grey eyes a welcome sight to the golden glow they had before. He didn't like it when their roles were turned against him, making Daella the calm one and his brother the fighter. It was eerie...
Lodael looked around, his fingers combing through his hair as he did so, "What happened?"
"You went berserk on me and so did the rest of the city," Daella replied with a shrug, "Must have been from the spell that is on the city at the moment. You should thank the guy infront of you for he was the one brought you out of it."
Lodael looked at Karrot and offered him his hand, "For once Daella is right. Thank you...whoever you are. I am Lodael, one of the Blaydon and I am in your debt."

Well you can fix that up in part two^^
Yes people, there will be a continuation of Signet and it being made even now. (Seriously, I have my notebook and everything...) So those who love the chaos we put our characters through, don't worry because it'll be much much worse in Signet City: The Return of the Ten!
You can thank Brascus, Fieran and yourselves for sequel. If you all hadn't made Signet the biggest and craziest thread in here besides the OOC, I wouldn't be attempting to create a second one lol So those who want to keep their characters, modifying the history will help alot and new characters will use a new profile...
Thanks for the dedication guys!

Milan stood beside Lina, her own staff appearing in her hands. An overwhelming power washed over them all in waves from that alter, a power that seemed to be growing in intensity with each step they took. Was is calling to them? Lina seemed to think so.
She watched as the Lotus Leader took a step forward, only to be stopped by the blades of the two nearest elders, "Don't come any closer my Lady," one of them said, lowering their blade, "If you really are Lady Lina. She would have come back drenched in that b*****d's blood by now."
Lina looked them with a thinly veiled apprehension. The altar..the falmes...the look in their eyes...hadn't she seen this before?
"Salen, just how long have you known where Moneko slept?" she asked quietly, "How long have you been able to read the Book of the Ten?"
Lina felt it as his gaze fell upon her and gripped her swords, "For a while now Lina. The house itself showed me her tomb." he looked away as her surprise filled her face, "I was hoping to free her before everyone else was back and ask of her something that should have been done long ago."
"Salen-"
"If they were so keen on leaving us then they should have left comepletely and not let a war been fought because of them."
"You don't mean-"
"Oh but I do Lady Lina," Salen answered, cutting her off yet again, "It is not that I regret the fighting, no I enjoy a good battle, it was the fact that it was fought for ten beings who felt it would be fun to leave everyone in the height of their rule that irritatres me and the others who are with me. The time has come for questions to be answered and justice to be served." it was then that the two elders from before turned away and formed the circle once again.
"Salen, you can't mean that!" Lina replied, taking another step forward, "We've worked so hard to bring them back. Don't let Ashra's curse make you do something you will regret!"
"So it is Lord Ashra I should thank for letting me finally act out on my feelings..." Salen answered quietly, "I shall give the child my thanks very soon..."

Othello took note of the happenings between Quinn and the other Lotus members, but said nothing. He silently followed them into the base. At Salen's comments though, he decided to intervene a little. He had held back a bit so as to not catch attention, and it was from this spot that he drew his rune not in the air but along the wall. It was in a suitable place to wash over the entire Lotus base, to ensure that he was doing Ashra's order of helping those who he could, and so the base itself became a beacon of the calming energies until the curse ends. He then spoke up towards Salen, his eyes having lost some more of the emerald shine.
"Lina has a point, but you also do too. Questions have come up that will need answering eventually, but right now is not the time. When all the leaders have been awakened, that's when the questions should be answered. We cannot know what their intents were at the time until all are brought back. Justice cannot and should not be served until all the information possible is available. Ashra is a child, and he did cause this curse, but you should know that he's doing it under Moneko's orders, however he got them. Come back to the light, like Lina and the other Lotus have done."

Merlin rubbed her temples for a moment, "Maybe that attack did affect me....my memory is...." She frowned, "Sluggish." She looked at the two concious men in her rooms, "He is Emit's man and I trust Emit with my life." She replied to Daella, her words coming slowly, carefully.

Remus listened to Othello's statement before interjecting his own. His wolfblood still burning from Ashra's curse; the only part of him unreachable by Othello. "Salen I respect you greatly as a warrior," Remus released his cane sword, "but I have come way too far to be halted now. Now get out of the way, and turn back to the cause you swore to serve before one of us gets killed..."

"And what's so good about the light?" Salen answered as his own sword was drawn, followed by the others, "The light is just another curse filled with only logic and not the emotion running rampant within this city as we speak. We will use that energy and finally return the pain and suffering that the Ten have given to the entire world!" He quickly moved to the altar, his sword rising as the other elders began to chant, the power of the chant making the torches grow with intensity.
He stood poised over the altar, ready to pierce it with his sword as the light from within it grew brighter, trying to atack the calming spell with all its might. The elders began to surround the group as they chanted, their own weapons poised even as the battle the spells had in their minds were taking affect. Some of them lowered their swords, only to raise it again in confusion. It was then that Lina took action.
"I'm sorry Salen. I truly am, but I will not let you do this..." she said quietly as she raised her hands and connected her swords, a light flashing around them as she did so. The light brightened the room and firmed the swords into a bow and arrow, exactly like the one in the hall of memories. Exactly like her mother's.
Upon this transformation, Salen proceeded to attack the altar, the blade piercing through the stone by the power of the dark spell they had conjured and slowly diminishing the light from within it. But that blade didn't go far. Lina drew her drew back the bow string and allowed the shining arrow of light to appear, took aim and fired. She watched as it hit Salen full on the chest and pinned him to the wall and sighed.
"Salen..."
The spell finally took over he stubborn men, causing them to look around in confusion before seeing Salen's unconscious body upon the wall. They backed far away as Lina walked past them and stood infront the sword still part way into the altar and pulled it out. The sizzle of skin was heard as the enchanted blade met her hands, but she continued to pull it out until it fell upon the floor. She said nothing still as she moved towards Salen's body and took him from the wall, the arrow dispersing into the air as she did so, then moved towards the infirmary.

Remus moved in front of the tomb. He was still on edge and took a defensive stance. "Lina, I'm going to remain here and act as a guard just in case. Unless of course there is somewhere else I am needed more." The spell was still hindering his thoughts and feelings somewhat. He called upon his training with Lina and blue sparks and arcs leapt and jumped across his blade as he stood his ground.

Lina only gave a mental nod before leaving the room, taking her time to walk through the halls and letting the now calm, but shocked doctors take Salen from her hands. She wanted to remain in the Infirmary until she knew Salen was better, but knew that was an impossibility. Especially now. What exactly happened to light? Was it injured? For Salen and the other's sake, she hoped not.
She hurried to back to the room which still held the torches and dim light to see Milan, Remus and the others still surrounding the other elders who seemed to have become complacent in their amazement. At the sight of their leader, a fwe of them stood up and bowed while others looked away, the memories of their actions still on their mind.
"Tell me what that spell was called and what it was supposed to do, or so help me I will kill you all right here where you stand." was her icy reply. A little harsh wording, but it was quite effective. The group immediately nodded and she ordered them to move into the interrogation room.
