You know you're a band geek when......
-you know how to get two piccolos in tune
-your social life includes memorizing music
-you forget the names of your family members but you remember the first and last names of everyone in your 100+ member band
-you point out key changes and dynamics while listening to the radio
-you see your section more than you see your family
-you call the football field the marching field

you know you are a band nerd when you...
start maching step with random people in the halls
practice marching down the hallways during marching season
laugh at at least half of these
you download songs and try to hear where your part fits in

you start doing the fingerings in the middle of a different class

You know you're a band geek when...
- The drum major calls you weird
- You get another band's show stuck in your head from watching the state
finals tape you recorded so often
- You get jealous when someone recieves their show music before you
- You count down the days until band camp
(guilty of all of them)

you know ur a band geek
when u sit in class and spin everything that ends up in ur hands and tells the ppl around u that its off balance.
when ur practically running to class when ur late and u and ur fellow band friends are exactly in step...even when jumping over low walls
when u can sit and clap out a song and u tap ur foot in step to the clapping
when u sit in class listening to ur ipod and trying to recreate a previous show w/out leaving ur chair
band camp stories are legends to u

When I listen to the radio on rainy days, I try to figure out what beats in the song that the windsheild wipers are on.
I do this a lot.

Let's see...
You know you're a band geek when:
-You feel at home on a charter bus
-sleeping on a gym floor is almost as good as home
-You start harassing your band director about marching music as soon as the sun comes out...in April.
-When you graduate, you become a color guard/marching training assistant
-The phrase "Tight as a color guard's hair" makes sense to you
-You get irritated when your windshield wipers aren't in time with the radio
-You've [programmed scales as your ring tone

I didn't do it . . . but someone else did sweatdrop i was gonna do that, but i think my BD burned the old ones... uhmmm You know your a band nerd when you know the tone of the school Bell ours is a B xp

You start critizing the playing of professional musicians.
Your idol is your band director.
You try to figure out and memorize the tune of a song at a party.
You do not throw a birthday party because you have a concert that day.
You miss a party because of a concert.

You know you're a band nerd when:
You're able to tune your instrument without looking at the tuner and without evening knowing it, even though everyone else can tell.
You go to your next class with "water" on your pants because an accident occurred durring band involving your spit valve and the people sitting around you. xd
You stay after school before every concert to set up and after class to clean up because you feel guilty if you don't.
You go to a festival and when you say what school you're from, everybody gives the "I'm-going-to-sabbotage-your-instruments-before-you-play" look.

DiddleFreak61387 You know you're a band nerd when you start to sing past shows and your friends join in. My friends did that once, they were walking down the hall way and one asked how this part in one song goes, and they got to it and on the next downbeat they all busted into last year's show.. I've done worse. You know you're a band geek when you and three of your friends sing the stand tune version of Low Rider in front of the Lincoln Memorial. Me and three friends did this on a band trip. We actually got $10. LOL
