Lets face it the Kaminoans seemed to have really done a poor job training that first batch of clones... save for the commandos and the arcs.
But from what we see of later engagements, that screw up was corrected very quickly.

For a while, I really like CorSec and the folks at CSF, but I don't know. They just don't seem as hardened and willing to get dirty to me as they used to.

Because it takes all of the EU to make up for Fett's embarrassing defeat over the pit of Carkoon.
Thrawn never suffered such an embarrassment, being cool and cunning even to the end.
