Notquitesane GAAAAHHH!!! gonk Oh NOOO!!! We have a concert on Sunday and I'll be the ONLY FLUTE that can come!!! The other two (We got a new one!) are going to be out of town and can't get a ride to the concert! I wanted to give them a ride, but there's NO WAY I can. I can't do this! I can't be the only flute! The flutes have several solies where we need several flutes to play LOUDLY! We could barely manage with three, now we'll only have one, and that's ME! I'll be so nervous and mess up and there'll be no one to cover me! Meeeeeh! Someone comfort me, please, I'm a ball of nerves here! crying crying oh, I'd love to be the only flute in one of our concerts xDD Unfortunately, since there's so many of us, it's not gonna happen. If you're gonna be worried throughout the entire performance, that alone will ruin your w1ck3d flutist sk1llz. xD Just try and relax. Hit all the notes at the right time. Pretend its rehearsal. We have a concert this Tuesday. Generally after I get on the stage and the curtain opens it's a bit distracting since I sit on the end of the row and I see this huge crowd of people to my left, but after I start playing I forget that they're there cuz' I'm lost in my music trying to play well. I dunno if that's what happens during your performances, but maybe if you try to just focus on your music and the BD you'll do fine. =)
