(Scorpion attack roll 16+13 >14 Hit... 23-20=3 HP I think I should've run away....)
The scorpion moved with great speed despite its wounds and swung its pincer slicing Izumi across the chest. He dropped to the ground coughing up blood and managed to pull back a little. He quickly tore off a sleeve of his shirt and tied it around his new wound and leapt to his feet. He had to end this now or he would be dead for sure.

"Fantastic..." Amaya was definately beginning to see a pattern in Haruko's malicious ways. Just her luck that she would be under the mercy of such an individual. But she wa starting to think that maybe all the Iwa ninja were that way. Gig wasn't exactly the sanist person in the world either...But wit hher thoughts a side, she spat a mouthful of the nast scorpion goo to the side and bent over picking up her torch and flint.
It took a few strikes to get things going, but soon her torch was lit and she saw just how deep and dark the space was behind her that led into the tunnels. The kunai she was spinning earlier was gripped firmly in her hand as she proceeded forward.

Amaya wandered into the thicker part of the tunnels and turned her head sharply at the sound of something scuffling to her right down the tunnel. Had they found someone already or were they on the way to her? Should she take the chance and have a look? Ahh here we go.... She could have been waltzing right into an unwanted battle, but the chance that it was one of the boys that needed help was also there so she made her choice and ran down the tunnel towards the fighting sounds.
As she rounded the corner she spotted the scorpion that was causing all of the ruckus and it had Izumi backed down. It looked like he gave the scorpion a bit of a licking, but he was the one that had been hurt the most. Hustling up to the scorpion, she took her tourch and shoved the flaming end of it into the creature just beneath its raised tail.

The fire proved to be effective in the soft areas of the scorpions skin beneath all of that hardshell. It lashed out at Amaya from the sudden flames, and she back up as the tail of the scorpion banged against the tunnel walls a few times as the flames burned it's skin relentlessly. Finally the thrashing stopped and the creature didn't move an inch.
Amaya hurried around the dead scorpion over to Izumi. "Your gonna be alright then?" she asked him quietly but clearly.

Out of no where, a small white box came out of no where (one of the holes). It would land in the mud near Izumi. It was a medical kit with 3 applications in it. It would be bound by a pretty pink bow and a smily face grining evilly at them with a catish grin. Haruko had tossed it down and headed back to her spot.
The bow had small writing on it, "Here, take this and don't die!"
[[Ok, whoever uses the box gets exactly half their max HP and CP back and add it to their current HP and CP level and spends one turn on it. There are only 3 uses of this item so be careful. Also, I'm altering the damage of the Scorpions. I apologize for making them so monsterously strong. Shouldn't be able to poke you kids 2 times and you die. hehehe]]

(Oh thank God!!! I saw Izumi's life flashing before my eyes!)
Izumi was prepared for the end when suddenly the scorpion burst into flames. He was surprised to see his teammate....Amaya was it? He struggled to his feet and checked his wounds. The head wound was shallow and had already stopped bleeding. The chest wound, however, was bleeding heavily and would need to be treated soon. "I'll....be fine." he replied which was likely the case.
At this point a white box dropped down next to him. Izumi picked it up and opened it. It had what appeared to be medical supplies in it but for all he knew it was a trap. Still he was on the verge of death as it was, what did he have to lose? He took out some of the application and put it on his chest wound. The bleeding began to slow down almost instantly and Izumi re-bandaged the wound, while talking to Amaya. "Looks like this can be used twice more if we need it. We should stick together....these scorpions are strong. Also I think I can find a way out. Follow me." Having said that he turned and continued the path he was following earlier but paused to say, "Thank you...for saving my life. I won't forget it...."
(3+21=24 HP So if we search toegether we combine out rolls for one DC right?)

Amaya was glad to see that he was indeed alive. The wound on his chest seemed quite severe, but the shiny medic pack that had fallen in "mysteriously" seemed to have made up for that. She listened carefully and gave him a nod in agreement to his suggestion about sticking together. As much as going it alone had it's less complicated advantages, fighting in the war had taught her that teamwork was certaintly more effective and life preserving in certian situations. This was one of them, so she wasn't going to be difficult about it. "We're a team now. The faster we learn to work together, the more efficient we'll be..." was the response she gave to his thanks.
Following Izumi through the dark tunnels, she took the peaceful seconds to observe her surroundings and her teammate. It didn't look like there was anything else life threatining besides the scorpions living down there. Izumi seemed like he was confident in direction as well, so she kept quite and listened for any echoes of trouble. But she tilted her head curiously at the symbol along the back of Izumi's tattered shirt. She hadn't seen it anywhere else before, so she wondered what it represented.

((Hmm so do we add togther our current DC's? I think you've got 18 and I've got 11. So together we've got 29/100. I just rolled a 13 as well so that would give us DC: 42/100 ))

Haruko walked back to her little gathering of ninja and grinned. They were quick at work doing something or other to the water that feed the entire underground caverns. They were applying high level fire jutsu to the water. To be more exact, ABOVE the water. They were super heating the water to the point of boiling right before it went into the caverns. Which would mean that it would go into the soil before cooling and thus, heat the ground. The heated ground would circulate the heat through the entire cavern, making the entire place warm up considerably.
The heat wasn't something the scorpions enjoyed, not to mention the intruders. A few more grunts began to stalk the halls of the cavern. One of them came upon the two kids who have made their teamwork count. The other one found the lone wolf known as Reck.

After a bit of walking, Amaya began to seriously question the sudden elevation in temperature. "Shouldn't it be cool in caves?..." she asked Izumi. The adrenaline combined with the heat was causing her to sweat now, and she used a cloth wrapped hand to wipe her forehead. That was when she heard a familiar sound. Quickly turning she looked behind them and saw nothing. But I could have sworn... She blinked in confusion, sure she had heard it, and close. That was when she stopped to slowly look up, and the scorpion dropped down landing right in front of the duo, ready to strike.

After getting over the smell of the daed animal meat and scorpion theramones that Haruko tossed on him, he looked around his area seeing three tunnels that probably lead to a larger maze of tunnels. At first he thought about just jumping out of the hole he came in but then he thought that that wouldnt be any fun so he picked a tunnel to head down and started walking in that direction.

Reck followed the tunnel he was going down only to ofcorse find another group of tunnel that each loooked like the last and showed no signs of leading out. He took a step and haerd a strange noise from one of the tunnels and stopped for a moment but then chose a tunnel and walked down his chosen path trying to figure out what that noise was.

The tunnel he chose was a long one that had almost no illumination to show his way but he figured that going strait was better than going back to where he started so he continued down the long tunnel until he reached a small room full of rocks.

When Reck enetered the small room, it had some strange looking rocks in the corners and fortunately there was only one other exit from this room so there was no other choice to makeso he headed for the opening. Just when he was crossing through the room, one of the rocks shifted around and uncurled itself. It was a giant scorpion: class A. After that 3 more rocks opened up into the same types of scorpions but one was colored slightly differently. the different one snapped around a bit and left down the tunnel Reck just came out of leaving him with 3 giant scorpions to deal with. Reck took a step back and waved his hands at them.
"Hey! Good scorpions. Ummm, you wouldn't happen to know the way out would you?"
Almost simultaniously, they attacked him from all sides. Two shot their tails at him and one extended it claw towards his head rapidly.
