"Sarlac pit, it's like that creature from the beginning of Episode uh.... six? The thing they try to feed Han to and he 'somehow' kills it while blind and weak from the carbonite?" Hold the phone, did Kara not know what Star Wars was? If this was the case, there was a movie night in their future. Provided they got out of this alive.

Kara darted back out into the sands and Bradley followed her, a sudden panic in his chest.
"Kara! Kara! s**t!" Almost immediately his knee buckled under him and he fell to the sand with a grunt of pain. Yzalin sent a thrill of concern through his mind as he frantically looked around for Kara. Her galaxy leggings were no where to be found.
Sand buffeted him as he stood, and he held up a hand to try to push through the sand without destroying his eyes.

Somehow, Brad found his way across the sands to the portals. He saw no sign of Kara and could only hope she'd gotten through unscathed.

With the shadow of the Titan looming over both of them, its legs still crashing against the sand on either side, the only sense of dread that Mimsy was currently experiencing was one that she would soon lose the last remaining portion of fabric that prevented her from being entirely exposed to the Sahara. She opened her mouth to speak, only to be interrupted by the commotion of rescuers arriving to collect the trainees and offer their support. For a brief flicker of a moment, it almost seemed like she looked disappointed. "All right." She cautiously stood, mindful of avoiding any nearby centipede legs that were passing in their direction. The Moon Lead was nearby, her movements instilling a sense of urgency that she knew they could not reasonably ignore - and there would be time to take the centipede's 'suggestion' when they arrived home, anyway. "We will help, then we will go home." The smile paired with the last of her words was mischievous enough to be a very clear motivator. HP: 36 + full heal = 60

Bradley stumbled through the portal, almost tripping on the sudden lack of sand and wind. He panted, looking around for Kara again, and was ushered towards the infirmary against his protests.
Wasn't until later did he noticed the centipede shell hanging from his pants.

He stumbled, sputtering more and felt himself breaking in several places.

Growling, he was fueled by anger but his mouth had stopped working even to curse. Everything was going to taste like sand and broken dreams for the next week at least. Swaying, barely able to stand he finally saw the blue of the portal and stumbled to it - finally he could escape god's hellish sandy armpit.

Someone grabbed Dottie's arm to steady her. "I've got you," Jordan said. "This way," and he led her toward the portal, providing a steadying hand if she slipped in the shifting sand. HP: 55/60

SAHARA - LUNA pt2
The dash to the portals was not a pretty one, there was stumbling, cursing, a still alive and very angry bug mashing about around her and to top it all off hunters where now running in both directions with either the goal of saving themselves or killing the raid boss. Meanwhile she was trying to protect a tablet because.
1. Some weird hobo of a hunter asked her to do so.
2. It was a tablet
3. She was probably going to try and keep it for herself later.
This did nothing to help get her to the portal though and she simply ended up stumbling to her knees in the chaos of the melee around the giant Titan.

[ SAHARA]Another hunter not too far away made Ever pause -- looking around for Chase and then hesitating, just a little. He could take them both, but it was going to leave him a bit battered doing it. He probed at the edges of his shield, thinking for a moment, and then decided he had enough strength to hold out, even if he had to kick his way through a few bugs along the route. He looped one arm down around poor Chase, whether he needed it or not, to get him moving toward the portal, and then paused to shout at Clyde as well. "Weapon out, and we can get there. It's not too far away." He nodded in the right direction -- but, really, Ever wasn't a reassuring sight right now. His pants were soaked through with blood, and it was spattered across the rest of him, too, leaving him a wreck. It wouldn't exactly instill hope in anyone. Still. He could get them to the portal. HP: 3

She took the offered hand without hesitation, a wide smile on her face when she pulled down the makeshift mask enough to speak. "Thank you, thank you so much." Focused as she was on getting out, now with much needed aid from the man, she didn't even notice the piece of carapace stuck to her now somewhat ruined stockings as she got through the portal.

Peony was trying to stay alive, trying to do what she could. But things still burned and itched and -- What was that? New hunters? A way out? Oh, oh yes! She was going to be safe? Climbing to her feet, she made for the exit, when someone, a very stinky someone, ran into her. Peony coughed and gagged even as he shoved something in her hands. Then he was gone. She continued on her path towards the way out. Quote: Roll a 3: Mark, the Death assistant manages to plow right into you.
