The first tree is a long tree, and bends down to look at you with hollow sleepy eyes as you reach over. "Oh, please, you're not putting your hand in my nose are you? That's so very disgusting, and I'm afraid I haven't cleaned up yet. Very disgusting indeed. Come back again when I'm clean."
Cait Sidhe thought about the last time he went against a tree's wishes. Also, picking a tree's nose would be totes gross. "Yeah, uh, okay."
After five or ten minutes, he returned. The tree was gone.
"Yes, lost, everyone is lost, I understand, thank you, good bye," Sorcha said dismissively. She would either find her way, or she wouldn't.

"...Little...rabbit...?" The tone of his voice was clear enough; she was playing a dormouse, not a rabbit. Did she accidentally select a class she didn't mean to? Or maybe she just didn't know what a rabbit was? There were a lot of options, but nothing he wanted to flat out ask her about it. "It's cute, though."
"They're just trees, whattre they gonna do? Fall on me?" Granted, one of them kind of already had. He was still flecked with green and brown from the first tree he had encountered.
"I think this is tree barf." Ornot mused, perhaps a little too seriously, as he inspected the fragment he had received. Kousagi's insisting on the stripey tree caught his attention again and he once more tried to hop over to it once more.
A tree stump got a passing glance.

"Is every tree different?" she wondered, staring off into the vastness of the forest and hoping the next area would be more ... interesting. As much as she loved plants, meeting trees was kind of stupid.
Perhaps sensing her displeasure, the next tree, a willow, hit her with a flurry of leaves which drove her away. It didn't even bother to warn her, like the first tree, and skipped right ahead to being unpleasant. When she wasn't level one, she'd come back here and kick some tree a**.

After a few moments of relaxing on the stump and enjoying the comfort of something that didn't shift under her at any random moment, she pushed herself back up to her feet.
She just needed one more..
but which way had she come from? With a frown she glanced about, then decided that she was.. sort of sure she had been going in this direction..
That looked like a good fifth and final tree.

She leaped back as the tree began to move its arms, wary. As it, too, warned her off she glanced around uncertainly. Had she made a circle or were all the trees in this forest overly dramatic?
With a hesitant glance, she finally just walked back towards her best guess of her starting point. Now just where was that ridiculous sign?

Nyantics approached the sign with a rather lackadaisical air, he was humming a small song under his breath and paused if to listen to the sign post do it's little spiel at him. Look for trees? He could do that. If only all tasks were so easy. He reached up and scratched at the bridge of his nose as if trying to figure out the prospects of company joining him or not. He'd already made a series of decisions without realizing it or speaking out loud. It just was, and he accepted it fully.
...Then again the day wasn't getting any longer. It was difficult to figure out what this was all about if he had this to worry about as well.
"Nyeh," he uttered unaware he'd even made any noise at all, he turned upon his heel and began to stalk about for specific things.

A small wail of anguish left the girl and she grabbed both long pigtails, waving them around at him. "LOOK I DIDN'T KNOW LIKE... You pick your username first then your class and I really didn't... I didn't think it through." The girl pushed her hair against her face and stumbled off a few steps to bemoan her fate... Except... With a whirl she turned back to him and peered at him, blue eyes peeking between orange strands. "R-really? You... You think so?" *//^//*
Kousagi flashed the rabbit a very serious stare that meant she fully believed the trees to retaliate by uprooting themselves. But she still scurried closer to pick a leaf from his hair and look down at the fragment. "I-D-K, tree vomit would probably be brownish... Like syrup!" She chirped the last part and hustled off to a very tall and thin tree. She hadn't gotten a proper introduction out before the tree began to speak in riddles that made her head spin. A piece of paper would really have been helpful to write this down with, but none resided in the mouse's pockets so she could only offer a shrug and a squeaky "I don't know!". At being told she was a poor tree, the girl crossed her arms over her chest and pouted back over to Ornot, giving him a forlorn look. "I'm a terrible tree, apparently." And mouse, and rabbit, for that matter...

Hopefully the fourth and fifth trees wouldn't assault her when she was a lowly level 1. This was annoying. "I wish it had given me a basic sword, or something-- well, I guess I have these cards..."
Unlike outside places, she had no idea how cards were really good for fighting, or at least no experience with them. How could she fight with a bunch of cards? Weird. It was all weird.
The tree gave her a riddle, except she'd glazed over with boredom after the first name and they all kind of blended together. "Milly? That was one of the choices, right?" she suggested, picking one at random (or at least something that rhymed with one of the things she thought she'd heard. Honestly, it was a question posed by a tree; she could care less.)
It began to gloat about how it was the better tree, and she was wrong.
Wow, trees were jerks.

Mostly, F3V3RDR3AM was just glad this was her last of the five trees. She hoped not all quests would be this futile. The last tree was actually kind of a sad sight: it was broken, and sobbing about how it couldn't find its glasses. She straightened her pinafore, tipped her head, and nodded.
"Since you haven't tried to lash out at me verbally or physically, and I really think the other trees are to blame for your state in general, I'll help you this one time," she agreed.

Very carefully, as Amarus was certain glasses were delicate creatures, she searched for the tree's lost spectacles. She could not find the spectacles, so she very carefully snuck away since she was pretty sure it couldn't tell where she was and as far as it would know it could be hopeful forever that she was really still looking and was totally about to find them.

Wandering away from the strange, untidy tree, Bennett wandered for a long while, carefully avoiding the areas with many other players. She still wasn't quite sure how much she wanted to talk to these people. Pausing in the path, she took a breath, and was more than shocked when a small tree--if you could call it a tree--opened it's mouth in a grin and riddled her to guess what it was hiding.
She placed her hands in the pockets of her jacket as she looked at the tree. It must be very small, as the tree was very small. What would a tree be hiding anyway? Then again, in this odd place, it seemed anything was possible. "Hm...I don't know!" Benny sighed at first, more to herself than the tree. "Treasure?" She offered up after a moment, knowing that treasures could come in all shapes and sizes.
When it opened up it's mouth and offered up the fragment, she was delighted! This was most definitely the best experience she had had since she got here! Bennett scooped it up and placed it carefully in her pocket. "Oh! Thank you so much!" She said, before giving the tree a gentle pat and heading down the path, continuing on her journey!

And, all of the sudden, there she was at this... Strange crossroads with a sign.
Why was there an exclamation point floating over it? Must have been a very excited sign.
Normally, Riyo would probably be pretty sour over finding herself in such a predicament, but considering how devastating prior events had been, this? This basically seemed like a walk in the park. She had her memories, her brain wasn't askew, and, more importantly, she knew she was sleeping.
Yeah, okay. This was fine. Better than fine, actually. Though for whatever reason she had to pick some kind of username and class?
"Fine. MissKitty will suffice." As for class, well. "I want the most powerful."
Which also happened to be the most regal attire-wearing class. MissKitty examined her new clothes with a satisfied nod. "Alright, well. I'm gonna go examine the ******** out of some trees now I suppose." Signposts talking? Sure, why not.
