Kiera remembered something from a couple of months ago that warned her against something like this. What was it? Oh yes, now she remembered. Knowing what she knew now made it even more daunting. She gently slipped out of Shortstraws grasp and turned to look at him apologetically "That might not be such a good idea..." She brought a hand to her face. Where did she put those pills? Did she leave them at the inn all that time ago? "Its not that I don't want to. Its just.. Not safe at the moment. So to speak..."

He back up and held out his hands witha blush, "oh sorry. Okay... i wasn't trying to... i mean... it's fine." He gulped, wondering if maybe he did the wrong thing and that was it. Maybe he was just not alowed to do that anymore. He turned tot he bed, "well i guess i can get comfortable at least right?" He chukkled ackwordly, he never had been turned down before, but then again it was wrong of him to expect he could do things like that by whim. Expechally to a princess like keria. He started to pull things out of his pockets and put them on the nightstand, also taking his cloak off and finding a place for it.*

She looked guiltily to Shortstraw before turning back to the mirror. She couldn't tell Shortstraw the reason without telling the whole story behind it. And there was no way that was going to happen. She just wanted to forget. In fact forgetting was what exactly made it go away. She needed to forget. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-" She frowned and lifted up her shirt slightly to see exposed ribs in the mirror. Had she not noticed how thin she got? She was practically anorexic.. Not to mention she didn't really want Shortstraw seeing her like that. She quickly changed into a baggy top which hid it well. She was satisfied enough.

Shortstraw shrugged, "no it's fine Keria." he did however notice her look at her stomach in the merror and turned back around, "like i said i'm going to fatten you up. Even if you don't like it, your too skinny and it's a scary concept. I rather see you alittle chubby then almost waisted away. I'm not siding with Hikari or anything... i'm just saying." He replied as he sat on the bed, "it's probably going to be alittle hard for us to get... used to the canges i guess though. I will not lie to you, i was serously afrade i would never see you again. I thought you left me forever. So frankly i'm just happy i have the chance to be here with you again. Thats all i need." He smiled and layed down. "Besides we don't know if ash... i mean Evelyn will be showing up tonight or not."

Kiera nodded and turned around. "Y-yeah. You're right." She sighed and moved over to the bed. "I guess I was just beating myself up about it for a while. This morning I was so prepared to hand myself over to the Seraphim council. So I was preparing my body for the very little food you get in prison. Whatever food that was." She pulled a face. "That's if they wouldn't have executed me." She shook her head and clambered onto the bed. "But that doesn't matter now." She shifted over to him carefully and hugged him tight. "I really thought I'd let you slip through my fingers. 'You did it this time, Kiera.' It kept going around in my mind. I felt like I needed punishing or something."

*Shortstraw nodded, "Well... i felt i couldn't go after you, becuse you left me. And Veria said somthing that day when i walked out of the Inn to just leave. At first she talked about snow and i didn't undertand at all. But it was a riddle that helped me relize my own answer that i was so despretly wanting. But also she said somthing to me i found that... well... i not even sure i'm suppost to tell you this. It's in the past and everything, but she said somthing about that being her vision, that that moment was when she was suppost to take me. And sadly i was so broken... andi thought i lost you compleatly... but then she said somthing else and walked away, she said she didn't want that though. She didn't want me like that. I didn't understand what she ment though. I know she loves me and she had her chance, i am more then glad that i'm with you know but it troubles me that she choose for me to find my answer instead." he chukkled, "i know it dosn't make much sense...at least it dosn't to me. But i think if not for veria i would have never relized the only way i would ever see you again. I figured even if you didn't choose me, i would have at least seen you one last time, and ferfilled my promeses." He hugged her tightly, "but i was so lost. I never felt such... i love you more then anything inthe world and i never want to loose you again like that. So for now on if there is a problem with me, say it. I'll fix it." He looked to her and smiled, "your everything to me. And i relized that then and there."

Kiera smiled with tear filled eyes and kissed him softly. "It makes me so happy to hear that, Shortstraw. It really does." She put her forehead against his and held his face in her hands. "Lets never do that again. I really can't stand it when we're apart. I feel like I could spend every minute of every day with you and never be tired of you." She smiled and nuzzled against him. "Just as we both know we love each other. I know everything will be just fine."

He nodded and hugged her too, "same here Keria same here..." He then laughed, "and just to say it, this dosn't seem vary ruff on me even out of public." He chukkled and nuzzled into her aswell. "I think it's time finally things really will change for us. I actully belive it this time. And i actully feel like your the real thing for once." he chukkled, "which is the greatest feeling of all. I don't have to worry about pleasing all sides just in case." He laughed, "i do wonder though what would it be like with two of me?" He chukkled, "i should have laid off the cake..."

Kiera chuckled and patted his belly. "Its so much more fun to make a fool out of you in public anyway. Although you seem to do a well enough job of it yourself." She kissed him again and hugged him lighter now. "And I think two sides of you would be my own personal hell." She laughed jokingly. "Maybe for different reasons, though." She looked up to him with her large colourful eyes and a smile. "And I think you're right, Shortstraw." She laid her head down and shut her eyes. "Things will get better now."

The next moring Veria was laying there in her room alseep. However suddenly she twisted and turned before she suddenly sat up and her eye opened wide as if just waking up from a nightmare. However it was basicly just another powerful, vary vary powerful vision, "He's going to perpose early!" She went to quick get out of bed, not relizing her banket was snagged, "I have to stop..." she fell tot he floor. And shied, "i have alot of work to do." She sobbed.
Meanwhile about this time shortstraw was awake just sitting there holding keria. For once he didn't want to get up. He was more then happy just laying there with her there in his arms. He smiled and looked to her. Obviously in thought.

Evelyn sat on the end of the bed in her cat form. More conveniently, obviously. It might have been a bit more awkward if she was in her human form. "You're looking happy with yourself." She grinned and held her nose in the air. "Oh and just for the record you can call me 'Evelyn the matchmaker' now. I feel as if I've earned it. Twice in a row earns a good reputation." She snickered.

SHortstraw laughed, "Ah so it was you i saw in there behind them. I thought so. I could see those two together... however i think it takes three to get a new title." He laughed. "And yes i will call you Evelyn for now on, infact i was wondering if maybe we ca give you your own room. If you want one." he nodded, "however i have to ask. What made you finally decide to actully be yourself? Before you never wanted it. He didn't even like your own name, nor apperince. What changed that?"

Evelyn shrugged and looked away. "I never really said I didn't like those things. Just that I wanted to forget them. So since I relived my whole life that time I told you all about it, I guess its been etched into my mind." She winced. "Not much point avoiding something you can't forget. And I don't think there's much point in having a room I'll never use." She looked back to him. "Three times? All right. Just give me some random guy and girl and I'll match them up if they like each other or not." She snickered. "Although this means that Dante lost the bet with me. It was never really much of a bet to begin with. The result was inevitable."

*Shortstraw chukkled and leaned out to poke her, "I think the third one should be you." He leaned back, "i think you should try again. If it dosn't work, i'll be there this time for you." He made a face, "However remember. Even if you walk around as your pretty lady self, your still MY demon. MINE!" He laughed, "i just wanna hug you for some reasion. It's weird."

Evelyn brought her paws out in front of her. "Hey hey, don't you remember the no touchy rule? Most definitely no hugging. ESPECIALLY when I'm in my human form." She laughed. "However I have to disagree with you. Most people aren't attracted to a several century old woman. Not that I'm even looking. I mean really. I'm perfectly fine as a single cat." She chuckled slightly. "Even though I'm your demon I'm old enough to be your great great great great grandmother, young man." She put on an elderly voice. At this point Kiera's eyes had only just fluttered open and she rubbed her eyes. "Wait what?" Evelyn grinned. "Ah so the sleeping beauty awakes."
