Kaosujin Ryu my net is being iffy today..sometimes running smoothly and then running really slow... Carolyn was somewhat surprised when she realized that Kasumi was holding onto her hand. She smiled slightly, her grip tightening a little bit. It was nice to feel even this close to someone. Constance frowned as Merrick turned towards the hotel. She slipped her hand into his, leaning against him slightly as they walked together. He was so angry, and she had a feeling the man had said something about her to get Merrick this angry. "Come on," she said softly. "Let's get some rest and I'll clean up your wounds."Cassandra's fingers laced with Lorcan's as he gripped her hand. She looked over at him and smiled a little as she tugged on his hand lightly so they could go into the hotel.

Kasumi walked into the hotel, mildly surprised that it looked very similar to any other hotel though with distinct Eastern influence to it. "Considering I haven't been in a good bed for... about twenty three or twenty four years," she murmured with a sigh.

Merrick sighed as he walked into the hotel. "He referred to you as 'a piece of a**', as if you weren't even worthy of a name," he said quietly under his breath just loudly enough for Constance to hear.

Lorcán smiled faintly as he followed her lead. He got the keys, which to his interest were four actual 'skeleton' keys of darkened brass or steel. He had deliberately done so as he suspected that Kasumi and Carolyn, as well as Merrick and Constance would prefer their own rooms while Merida got her own room as did he and Cassandra.

Constance sighed softly and shook her head. " Unfortunately no matter where you go, there are always men like that. What he thinks doesn't matter to me. Only what you think does. As well as my close family and friends." She smiled a little and then chuckled. "I am sure he is worse off than you, and I am glad for that.""Nice keys," Cassandra said with a smile as she looked at the keys Lorcan had received. They were old keys, actually quite nice keys. "Hmm, nice place," Carolyn said as she looked around. She hadn't been in a hotel in a while. She didn't actually consider the place they held their meetings a hotel. It was just a home they all shared.

Kasumi smiled faintly as she tilted her head, looking down a hallway to see a large Jacuzzi, an onsen hot spring pool, and sauna. I wonder if she'd be into some more experimentation, she thought with a slightly perverted grin.

Merrick sighed as he let his gaze scan around the hotel. "A few broken bones and a hell of a lot of pride lost," he said quietly, shrugging.

Lorcán chuckled. "True; it's amusing how common most of the time people rely on technology. It's rather refreshing when people go with older, more tested methods. Most people forget that 'lever lock' keys, or the more commonly called 'skeleton' keys, have been used since the mid sixteenth century until roughly the mid twentieth, and possibly were used earlier than that," he said with amusement.

Carolyn's gaze followed Kasumi's down to the large Jacuzzi. She smirked a little, choosing not to say a word. She had some idea, but wouldn't say them in front of the others. "Good," Constance said with a nod as they entered the hotel with the others. She moved him over towards where Cassandra and Lorcan were. After all, they had the keys to the room. She wanted to get Merrick cleaned up. She knew he would heal well on his own, but she liked to help him. Cassandra smiled and nodded. "Very true Lorcan." She looked over to see Constance and Merrick heading their way. "I think they want their room key."

Kasumi knew without looking that Carolyn was smirking, though she didn't do anything yet. She glanced at the elder witch, a faint playful smile flickering at the corners of her mouth.

Merrick chuckled, shifting his weight. He liked the casual yet slightly rustic appearance of the hotel. "Next time, he'll be lucky if he manages to crawl away... if he's stupid enough to try it again," he said under his breath.

Lorcán tilted his head as he lightly lobbed one of the darkened brass keys towards Constance, well aware they'd likely catch it. He flicked his wrist, not surprised that Kasumi snagged the key out of the air with a snap of her wrist that made it seem as if the key had vanished from thin air suddenly.

Carolyn could feel Kasumi's gaze on her, and she looked at the other woman from the corner of her eye. She winked at Kasumi and smiled wider. "Well if he's stupid enough to try again we'll take care of it." Constance said softly. Without looking up she snatched the key from the air as Lorcan threw it in their direction. Once she caught the key she looked up and smiled at Lorcan, giving him a nod. "Okay let's go," she said to Merrick. Cassandra yawned a little, running her hand through her hair. She was a little tired. She hadn't slept much in the past several days and it was finally catching up to her.

Kasumi showed little sign that she noticed Carolyn's wink, but shifted as she followed Merrick and Constance before pinching Carolyn's rear playfully.

Merrick shrugged as he followed Constance to their room, not all that surprised to find a single good sized queen bed.

Lorcán smiled faintly before he scooped Cassandra into his arms and carried her bridal style to their room, slipping the last key into Merida's pocket unnoticed as he passed her.

Carolyn jumped slightly as Kasumi pinched her playfully. She chuckled softly as they walked towards their room. She had a feeling that tonight was going to be a fun and interesting night for them. Constance walked into the room, closing the door behind herself and Merrick. "Hmm, it's a nice room," she said as she looked around. She walked away from Merrick to a door just to the right of the bed to find a decent sized bathroom. "Ooh, and a huge tub," she giggled softly. "I see nice, luxurious baths in the near future."Cassandra laughed as she wrapped her arms around Lorcan's neck. She rested her head against him as he carried her into the room. It was a nice room with a queen sized bed. "Doesn't look like much from the outside, but it sure is nice on the inside," she commented. "Well I guess it's you and me sharing a room here," Amelia said with a faint smile as she walked up next to Merida. "I promise I don't take up much room, and Nala will be on her best behavior."Merida looked over at Amelia and shrugged. "Sounds good to me." She felt something in her pocket and when she pulled her hand out there was a key. Lorcan must have slipped it into her pocket as he walked past her.

Kasumi tilted her head, noticing the queen sized bed with crimson and orange sheets. "Hmmm, interesting choice of colors," she said thoughtfully as she sat on the bed as a slight flicker of blue gave away the chakra thread she manipulated to open the bathroom door to reveal deep gold and ivory walls with jade twin sinks and a broad bathtub of the same polished green stone.

Merrick chuckled softly. He hugged Constance from behind gently. "And I'll be there to wash your back if you need it," he said quietly, knowing that it went unspoken that he would wash anything else she wanted as well.

Lorcán smiled slightly. "The same could be said of you when looking from a distance; most see the professional, intelligent woman, but I see the passionate, cunning, imaginative beauty with a mind sharper than a sword," he said quietly as he laid her gently on the bed, thoroughly tempted to 'christen' the bed as he suspected she knew he'd been running his fingers over her body while carrying her.

"Hmm, I like it," Carolyn said as she looked around the room. She stepped towards the bathroom, looking in. "Hmm, nice bathroom too." She grinned and went to sit on the bed next to Kasumi. ~~~~~ Constance grinned as she leaned back against Merrick. Just the feel of his arms around her always made her relaxed. "I would like that a lot," she whispered back. She turned in Merrick's arms to look at him. "How do you feel?"~~~~~ Cassandra smiled widely as she looked up at Lorcan. She reached up and caressed his cheek gently. "You are the most amazing man I have ever met," she said softly. "So thoughtful, so sweet, so caring."

Kasumi chuckled. "Want to try it out?" she said with a smile as she shifted the vest she wore deliberately to show her cleavage, though it seemed casual.

Merrick tilted his head, shifting his weight slightly. "Sore," he said with a slight shrug. The wounds were very slowly closing, though thin rivulets of blood still trickled from them.

Lorcán chuckled. "That's a marked difference from what I usually hear. I've heard everything from 'dusty, clueless, and oblivious' to 'he has his nose stuck in books so often he practically super-glues them to his face'," he said with a smile. Most of the time he did have his nose in a book, though it was only because he was intelligent and enjoyed reading.

Carolyn looked over her shoulder at Kasumi, giving her a mischievous grin. "Hmm, now that does sound like a plan to me." She stepped into the bathroom and stretched. "Oh yes, a very nice bathroom."~~~~~~ Constance sighed softly as she reached up and gently touched his face. She wiped some blood away from his face and it just disappeared from her hand. "How about we get you cleaned up before we do anything else?"~~~~~~ "Well having your nose stuck in a book isn't so bad," Cassandra said with a chuckle. "Just shows how intelligent you are. And you are most definitely not oblivious. You just know what is important to pay attention to."

Kasumi smirked slightly. "No sense in being too tense, after all," she said softly as she followed Carolyn, having shed the vest while leaving her red shirt on as well as shedding her boots leaving her barefoot. She started massaging Carolyn's shoulders and upper back gently but firmly.

Merrick chuckled softly as he tilted his head, bronze foxish ears with red tips flicking onto his head as he looked at her with 'puppy dog' eyes. "Fine with me," he said with a chuckle.

Lorcán smiled slightly. "Hmmm, what to pay attention to at the moment," he said in a musing tone as he leaned closer to Cassandra before kissing her.

Carolyn's eyes closed and she let out a soft sigh as Kasumi began to massage her shoulders. It felt really good. She didn't realize she was still a little tense. It would take a while to work off the tenseness she had collected over the years. ~~~~~ Constance chuckled softly as the ears appeared and she saw his 'puppy dog' eyes. She slipped her hand down into his and pulled him towards the bathroom. "Come on. I have a feeling we will find everything we need in the restroom."~~~~~ Cassandra's eyes closed and her arms wrapped around Lorcan's neck as he kissed her. Her fingers ran lightly into his hair.
