On a less relevant note, do you guys think that bringing in "the Kid" from Bastion and having posts be written as if spoken by the game's awesome narrator would be too gimmicky?
How about Pokémon eggs? Would that be an option? I actually think Emil would enjoy taking care of an egg.
Of course, there's the whole number of step thing that hatches the egg to work with/go around....
That's...kind of an odd premise, but not out of the question I guess. I suppose random eggs would have gotten through somehow, but to be honest I'm having trouble making sense of it at the moment. sweatdrop
Instead of counting steps, I'd say counting the passage of days would work best. Maybe the egg would hatch in 3 or 4 days.

So yeah, I indeed am making Pokémon bonding a thing in the RP. biggrin
Yes! Sophie gets her Psy~!
About the legendary Pokémon thing, what about Pokémon that are hard to find like Zorua/Zoroark and Dratini/Dragonair/Dragonite?

Those don't count as Legendaries. 3nodding I only mean the ones that are among the Pokémon Pantheon (including the X/Y legendaries, of course). Phione is ridiculously debatable even within official sources (because it's an offspring of Manaphy but great numbers of it can exist), but I think it'd count too.

Okay. I was just wondering in case somewhere along the line I see a Pokémon on the official lists that Sophie may work well with. I tend to be attracted to the hard-to-find ones.
I'm not sure if I should post as Seishin and wait for Fedora or wait a little bit longer....
Personally, in my opinion, someone who's been sick this long should probably check in to a hospital. I hope that's not the case, though.

Well he's not sick anymore (it actually used to be something kind of serious though), but I have just learned that he was blindsided by his job like straightaway after. D: Says he'll try to post tonight but it's okay to get one more reply in before he does.

I don't actually like Pokémon eggs since they just ever took up space on my team, but someone could easily come across a thief, take them out, and take care of the egg. Maybe like a special event for one or two people or something. Just...pointing out a scenario....I don't really care. >.<
Dude, just use Rucks as The Kid's internal monologue. Any time the kid is in deep thought, use Rucks' awesome narration skills.
As for the pokemon thing, if two are allowed, I know which two Rhone's gonna end up with...or one if there's only one. Gonna give my magic swordsman a shiny new sword that'll grow as he does. Should be fun.

Lemme guess...Honedge? 8D
And it's a maximum of two indeed. 3nodding
I finally settled on one for Azura and one for Zaul that's going to turn out to be a total plot twist (or so I hope xd) and am in the process of figuring out their second.
Jewel of Antares

Yeah, I thought eggs would be kind of a hindrance too but I also feel I shouldn't entirely dismiss the idea. I don't really want to turn it into an RP-wide event because it just seems like complicating things to me, but you've shown me a scenario to use at least.
Some random person might have seen one in a nest through a tear and thought it'd be something that might turn a good piece of Gald, so they'd grab it without question. But soon they have the misfortune of running into a thief, and in turn the thief would have the misfortune of running into Emil. But then this would be long after the thief had taken the egg from Poor Random Guy so Emil wouldn't know the egg "belonged" to someone and thus keep it.

I actually like that. It makes perfect sense that Emil would save a monster egg considering monsters are his friends if he tames them.
Either way, I'm torn between a Poochyena, a Houndour, and a Growlithe. All are adorable and perfect for Emil. If I choose a Houndour, I get both Fire and Dark types, though it doesn't seem like the perfect fit for Emil. Poochyena is a Dark-type, which suits him because his first Centurion was Tenebrae. But, Growlithe is unconditionally loyal, just like him. Hm. So many Pokémon, so little room for them all....

Hmm, that's an idea. Still, I think I'll save my character slots. Besides, I can't exactly give the Kid a voice, and Quote is silent enough as it is. I'm still tempted to bring in Dracula (the Castlevania one) as an antagonist, though.
A shiny new- Ahahaha, I see. That could be pretty cool.
