When Tristen found his footing, Tails grabbed the fish with a hand hotter than a leather car seat on a midsummer day. If the fish thought Tristen's tail more important than being seared alive, the boys could have a portable snack on their way to a mud hole. "You okay, Tristen?"

If the fish thought Tristen's tail more important than being seared alive, the boys could have a portable snack on their way to a mud hole. "You okay, Tristen?" "BAS!" The Feebas flailed then popped right off of Tristen's tail, flopping on the ground a bit only for it to find water once again. "I. Think so." Tristen said, rubbing his sore tail, then started to stand back up.

"Now, I think we could be close. Water's always a good sign. It means the ground is waterlogged, and there are less roots around," Tails explained. He continued past the pond and indeed, the grass had become sparse and each step squeezed water from the ground. There was no more looking around; they were here. Tails didn't say anything, but any step could send lead either of the boys to a knee-deep spot of muck.

The Natu fluttered back to Tristen's head after the whole pond debacle was over. As he followed Tails, he took notice to the ground. It was getting pretty soft now for some reason. He then looked over towards Tails, noticing that he stopped all of a sudden. "......is this it?" He asked.

"Yuuup. Why don't you wander around?" Tails suggested. "If something happens to you, I can just pull you out. You're safe. Well, unless something pulls you under."

Trigramatic "Yuuup. Why don't you wander around?" Tails suggested. "If something happens to you, I can just pull you out. You're safe. Well, unless something pulls you under." He looked towards Tails, staring in confusion. He wants to try to be this 'big brother' Tails hopes for but its kind of hard when the one younger than him proves to not only be smarter than him, its hard to tell if Tails is really messing with him, especially with the mention of 'unless something pulls you under' comment. He then looked down and started to make his way in. Already he could tell this was going to be slow going. The mud was providing a lot of suction on his feet every time he tries to pull his foot back up for a step.

"Go in toes first," Tails said. "It's easier both ways."
He looked away, to Gardevoir. For Tristen's sake, he needed to be sure. "There's nothing under here, is there?"
Gardevoir would find that they were quite alone. The closest thing was a Rattata pack behind them, and Tails couldn't smell their spoor.

She wasn't picking up much of anything within this area. They were alone for the most part out in this muck. "Toes first...?" Tristen asked. He started to go a bit slower, but doing as Tails said, though he was going a bit easier to say the least. "Ohhhhhh."

Lykas arrived back at Snagem HQ, still feeling rather strange from the awful chi that mayor's Pokeball had exuded. He'd receive a call on his SNAG before too long and had Mykel Teleport them both to Unova to pick up Odd for a bit. They were back within a minute.

Tails watched only for a minute before he, inevitably, grew bored. Grinning, he leaped onto Tristen's shoulders to speed the process along. "Whoo!"

Sol couldn't help feeling a little sick when he and Xatu returned, recalling that chi. He found himself sitting down and recalling the bird, then letting out Nal. He doubted that unusual Pokemon was really up for being in there for long.

Natu saw it coming and hopped off of Tristen's head. "WAAA!" Tristen fell over as soon as he was pounced on and flopped over upon the mud. Well, so much for delaying the inevitable.

"Sorry for the sudden bail guys." Sub said to the arriving Snagems. "There was just something I found unnerving in that power plant. I'm sure you guys felt something."

Odd shrugged at Sub's question. "I didn't really feel anything out of the ordinary but I'm new to the whole Chi thing." He admitted.
"Sol and I were trying to deal with the mayor when he pulled out this Pokeball and I just started feeling sick immediately." Lykas provided. "I don't know what was in it but it had some crazy messed up chi pouring out of it." He was beyond the point of caring anymore about what was in there but it was time to get some serious strength going on. If nothing else, he needed to learn how to sense Chi like hybrids and pokemon could.
He made a mental note to look into training methods for that. He was pretty sure Odd would be able to benefit from it as well.
