Mala was about to state that he shouldn't know just yet, but quickly stopped herself. She forced herself to answer properly, and it showed. "It's a curseword for female dog, often used to degrade women or extremely femenine men."

Mala gave quite the impish grin. Riley had set her right up for what she was about to say next. "It depends on the situation, although it's usually safe to assume the answer to be 'yes'." Afterwards she playfully stuck her tongue out at Van, trying to show that she was just teasing him and didn't exactly mean it.

Romain quickly followed, far ahead of the crowd, but still behind Belin and Mikhael.

Mikhael shot forward, trying to keep at least one of them between himself and the crowd. in this instance, it was the female mage. he ended up within earshot of the swordsman for a moment. he spoke. "does this happen often?"
