Joining up for a career? For TA?
Or, for your country?
In pure honesty I joined for career/my country, due to my grandfather being in the military. I always looked up to him. He was well respected by many, and did what he had to, to feed us and make sure we were safe.
He is my father figure, since my biological father was a no-show. 3nodding
I learned everthing from this man, I even grew to love the military. I joined the US Army when I was 17 yrs old. Currently at my 5 year mark, and have deployed oversea's once. I dont regret a single decision I've made till this day.(Career wise)
So yea...I'll stop blabbering now. xd

Heh, I've got a pretty extensive military background, with both of my grandfathers serving in the US Army, during WWII, my aunt was Navy Reserves, my uncle was US Army MP, his son, is currently serving in the US Army, working with missile defense, and my other uncle served in the Chair-force.

I just got back from a high school career fair, representing, the world's finest Navy. Frickin high school girls man...they're so flirty... Tell me about it, man. I think I discovered yesterday that part of the reason I usually sleep all day is so I don't have to deal with high-schoolers on lunch break. I went to McDonalds yesterday at lunch, and the car full of high school girls next to me started flirting with me at the stop light. confused LUCKY D: Yeah I know what you guys mean, at work there's a lot of girls all between 16-21 that hit on me every now and then lol but you know what I'm happy staying with one girl for the rest of my life.
