Jessie sighed. "I get that a lot." She said as she sat down indian-style on the sand beneath her. "I'm not saying I'm a pacifist, but I don't believe in fighting because you think you've got the skills, much less the talent. Like for example, people expect me to be rude and violent, and excellent at swordplay. I'm all of those, but I don't make it my 24/7 mood. Like my siblings. I'm a mellow person. But if I got angry..." She snickered, thinking back to the last time she got mad and blew up at her friends for no reason. But, what she didn't expect, they returned the favor.

"Well, I guess that's pretty smart." Jack said, sitting down, like he was in the middle of a sit up. "Something I hate being." he muttered to himself, then stared out towards the water. He had watched his family slowly die before him, without ever knowing what to do. So he didn't think it was right to be an Athena kid.

She shook her head. "Tell that to my siblings. They'll have a ball." It was true. Her brothers and sisters were absolutely cruel to her. But she figured eventually if she left them alone, they'd do the same to her.

"Well, your siblings scare me. And a few of them already know me." Jack added, remembering a few Ares campers he had met. One he fought in the arena, another he brought to the infirmary. So, they weren't all bad meetings.

She chuckled softly, mostly to herself. "That's definitely(sp?) nothing new. But, I could say the same for the Athena kids. Know-at-alls really know how to anger a few people." She joked, half serious.

"I know that." Jack said, purposefully saying it that way. "I still don't get why the two cabins fight. I mean, one is the fighter, and the other is the strategist. Together they would make an awesome team. Unless, you know, they don't." he added, joking.

"You know, that's almost the fourth time you've said that. I must really be different..." It wasn't that shocking, but just the fact it was so easy to point out. Her father must really think she was a joke. Well, she wasn't a daughter of Ares for nothing...
((For the record, I'm a pretty fast poster/ replyer. But I don't rush other people to hurry up and post. ))
