Akima wore an impish smile as she stared down her much larger and bulkier opponent, and upon hearing her trainer's command opened her mouth and let out the most horrible sounding noise she could possibly make. Riza was already covering her ears as the Sneasel screeched loudly, knowing that this would sharply weaken the Granbull's defenses.
The large Pokemon groaned and stumbled back, covering his ears with his paws. His eyes were wide and he actually looked a little frightened. "Oh, come on now, Chomp! That little Sneasel's nothing to be afraid of! You can do this!" The Granbull didn't seem to agree with his master, and shook his head. "Chomp!" Terry grumbled, sighing with annoyance. "Come on and try a tackle attack!" With some reluctance the Pokemon began his attack, though Riza and Akima were not worried.
'This Granbull seems to be very timid,' Riza thought, not even needing to give a command as Akima jumped out of the way, grinning the entire time. The pinkish Pokemon didn't seem to like having his attack dodged and he backed off, looking a little uneasy. Riza knelt down and took her Pokedex from her backpack, and quickly looked up the entry on Granbull, curious to see what it had to say. 'Despite its intimidating presence, it is actually very timid, and spooks easily. If frightened or angered, it will often fight back using its massive fangs,' she read. 'Hmm, I guess Jaden's ex's Granbull was an exception to the norm,' she thought, closing the dex and looking to Akima, who was busy making faces at the frightened Pokemon. 'It's no fun fighting an opponent who's too scared to fight back, so this calls for some provocation.' She smiled. "Akima, use Taunt," she said.
The Sneasel's ear twitched. Hadn't she already been taunting it? Well, perhaps not to the extent of the actual move. She jumped forward, sticking out her tongue and waggling and smacking her behind at the Granbull, all the time daring it to come and try to attack her. * * * * * "Kord, dodge that seed," Katie commanded quickly, deciding that she didn't want her Elekid's health steadily being drained to benefit her opponent. The speedy little Elekid was easily able to evade the seed and it bounced off the dirt path harmlessly. He turned to glance at it before looking back to the Cherubi and smirking. He was very sure that he could beat this silly little fruit thing.
"Rubi, now use Sunny Day," the lady trainer said, her voice still quite calm and relaxed. The cherry Pokemon nodded and closed its eyes before tilting its face up to the sky, and suddenly the sun was shining brighter and it was a lot warmer. The Cherubi seemed to sparkle a bit in the bright sunlight.
'I really hope this thing doesn't know SolarBeam,' Katie thought, watching Kord as he tried to figure out why it had gotten so hot out. "Kord, Thundershock, go!"
The little electric-type nodded and took a few steps forward, the prongs on his head sparking dangerously with electricity. He began to spin his arms around, generating a large amount of electricity which was then directed at the Cherubi. 'Kord's getting so tough so fast,' Katie thought admirably.

Keegan laughed a bit at Kilik's little story, and shook his head a little. He wasn't exactly sure of when or even how the Treecko had escaped the room, but at least he'd been in good hands. He took a moment to quickly examine the female Treecko, able to see that she'd come from a very good breeder, and he silently wondered if she had any special moves. "Yeah, she looks quite healthy," he said, smirking at Kasiya when he heard her comment. If you only knew, Kass, if you only knew, he thought. Pan grinned broadly when he saw that he was no longer in trouble, and looked over at his lovely lady. Sure, initially he'd taken off to go and have some fun while his boring, lazy trainer slept all day, but he'd found love, so he was sure all of this was meant to be. Not only that, but his trainer had managed to find his mate again, too. Pan looked over Kasiya as she held her hand out to Treecko, and deftly jumped onto the girl's shoulder to show her that everything was all right, though he did glare down at the Charmander when she came out of her Pokeball. He had nothing personal against the lizard; he didn't like fire Pokemon on pure principle.
"An eating contest?" Keegan asked, shaking his head in annoyance. "How irresponsible can you get?" He looked over at Kilik as he held his stomach, and the redhead set his backpack on the deck and opened it up. "I might have something in here," he mumbled as he dug through it, though he could tell by the way things had been haphazardly thrown back in that it had been searched. "Ah," he said, pulling a protein bar from his backpack and tossing it to Kilik. "Here, eat this, it should curb the hunger pangs, at the very least." ===== Miharu stared down at the sparkling badge in her hands and smiled as she made her way through Cianwood City. It didn't take her very long to reach the Pokemon Center and she stepped inside, thankful to be out of the warm sun. She gave the nurse the four Pokeballs that contained her exhausted Pokemon and sat down on a comfortable chair situated by one of the open windows. She took her badge case out of her bag and carefully placed the Storm Badge inside with her four others. Five gym badges, she thought excitedly, her gaze tracing over the three empty slots. With only three to go, we're almost there. Soon, we'll be able to enter the Johto League. She snapped the case shut and looked up at the clock. It was only about a quarter to eleven, and she sighed, removing the elastic band from her hair. The green locks tumbled down, hanging well past the middle of her back, and she smiled, having forgotten how long her hair actually was.
She knew it would be a while before her Pokemon would be fully healed, so she leaned back in her seat to relax. She'd been training very hard the past while, and now she had five gym badges to show for it. Next up is the gym back in Olivine, she thought as Sparkle released herself from her Pokeball. The Flaaffy bleated happily and climbed up onto her trainer's lap, and Miharu gladly put her arms around the Pokemon and cuddled her. "Soon you and Petunia will be helping me out in these gym matches too," she told the fluffy pink Pokemon. She closed her eyes and sighed, the warmth of the Flaaffy's wool making her feel quite a bit drowsy.

"Taunt," repeated Terry, surprised by the unusual tactic being used by the Sneasel. He had to admit, that if he were battling against her, it would have angered him, and he looked towards his Granbull to see how he was affected. For a moment, the Fairy Pokemon just stared at Akima like she was insane, and then his left eye began to twitch. A loud growl then escaped his throat and he gnashed his teeth together angrily. 'He doesn't look scared anymore,' Terry thought, his eyes wide with surprise. "Okay then, now use Tackle," he called. He was actually rather surprised to see his Pokemon react so quickly, but Granbull was actually charging at the Sneasel, anger burning in its eyes. "I don't believe it!" Terry laughed. "Chomp never gets this anxious to battle!"
"Akima can piss off just about anybody," Riza replied with a grin. "Akima, dodge and use Quick attack," she called. Akima nodded and attempted to sprint out of the way, but her previous taunting of the Granbull now seemed like a very bad idea. Swiftly, the larger Pokemon reached out and grabbed the Sneasel's leg as she tried to run away. Akima let out a surprised yelp which was followed by a cry of pain as the larger Pokemon lived up to his name and chomped down hard on Akima's leg. "Dammit," Riza growled, clenching a fist. "Akima won't be able to run if her leg is injured.....Quick! Fight back with Fury Swipes!" she shouted.
Wincing, Akima nodded and wrenched her leg free of Chomp's grasp before she lunged forward, slashing wildly with her claws and landing four good strikes before Chomp staggered backwards, sporting several deep scratches on his chest and arms. "Not bad," Terry said, laughing. "Looks like this match will be more fun than I thought!" * * * * * The small bolt of lightning quickly sped through the air before it wrapped itself around the Cherubi's body and gave it a thorough zapping. Even though electric-type attacks weren't overly effective on grass-type Pokemon the little cherry Pokemon squealed in pain. "Shake it off, Rubi, and use Leech seed again," the lady trainer called. The cherry Pokemon nodded and though the electricity still covered its body it managed to fire off more seeds, and since Kord hadn't been expecting the Cherubi to attack just yet one of the seeds nestled itself right on his head. Small, thin vines grew from the seed and entwined themselves around the Elekid's prongs.
"Oh no," murmured Katie, but there wasn't much she could have done. She had to admit that it took great stamina for the Cherubi to be able to attack while the thundershock was still attacking it. "We'll just have to defeat it fast," she said to herself. "Kord, use Quick Attack!" she said, pointing at the Cherubi. Kord nodded, ignoring the vines as they stole a bit of his health, and he zipped forward, a bright trail of white light streaming behind him as he ran. He lowered his shoulder and slammed himself into the Cherubi as hard as he could, sending them both tumbling across the ground in a mess of yellow, black, red and green.

"I'm quite proud of her," Kilik said, looking over at his Treecko. Despite having hatched merely last night, she had already grown a substantial amount, though she was not nearly as strong as Pan was. "Though I must admit," Kilik laughed, "I had gotten a Treecko merely for the sake of being one of the few trainers with one. I've never battled one, or any of it's evolutions, despite the fact I grew up back in Hoenn. None of my friends had one, up to now," the boy added, looking over at Keegan, "but I have to say, I'm really glad that I did." He leaned over and kissed the side of his Treecko's head. She was very interested in Kasiya's hand, and once she saw Pan was okay with her, she reached out her neck and bumped her nose against the female's hand. The sudden appearance of Nova did scare her, and she retreated back for a moment. Then she remembered that she could beat Cable so easily! So Nova would be no problem either. She rubbed up against Kasiya's hand once more.
"Eating contest?" Kilik groaned, lowering his head, "Both Robin and the guy who owned the Snorlax should've just been thrown overboard. Two Pokemon eating all the food meant for thousands of trainers? I hope they get into some serious trouble." He punched his fist into his open palm and glared at his knuckles. Maybe he was going a bit overboard - it could be that vendetta that developed after losing to Robin. He jumped suddenly and caught the protein bar against his chest. "Thanks, Keegan," was all he said before tearing the wrapper off and biting into it. Certainly, his stomach responded happily to the arrival of sustinence. Kasiya had mentioned the town they'd be making port in. "Carawave, huh?" he said, his mouth still full of the bar. He swallowed the chunk and cleared his throat. "Town must be pretty big if we're making port there. There's probably a Gym there, too..." Kilik tapped his chin and his foot at the same time. "Olivine and Vermilion have Gyms. Odd," he laughed, "that both of Hoenn's port towns don't have Gyms."
-*-
"When are we gonna laaaand!" Mazarin whined, walking along the top of the ship, looking defeated. "I'm tired of this stupid boat, on this stupid water, going to some stupid region nobody's ever been to before. It's stupid!" He put his hands on the railing and looked down into the sea. Strange fish looking Pokemon were swimming along the ship. They were blue and looked sort of like butterflies that were underwater. "I really hope all the Pokemon in Sinnoh don't look this silly," he turned away and put his hands behind his head. "Otherwise, I'll be pretty disappointed with the selection." He shrugged his shoulders a few times to get his wings flapping. When nothing happened, he dropped his hands to his sides and groaned.
"And my wings..." he whimpered, "Stupid Mike burning my awesome wings and making a stupid scene. He's stupid." He huffed and crossed his arms over his chest, stomping down the stairs. "And there's no stupid food, because some stupid girl's monkey and some stupid fat tubbo ate it all!" He threw his hands into the air and practically screamed. "This whole boat ride has been stupid!"

"Que bueno! Orale Julio, looks like we've got a a traveling buddy." Julio, who was still spinning at this point, had managed to make himself dizzy and fell over. Carlos just looked at the Lombre and laughed a bit, recalling him to his pokeball. "Heh heh, forgive my friend, he's a bit over zealous at times. But he means well I assure you. Well anyway we should probably get going. It'll be dark before long. And with that Carlos started towards the mountain once more, swinging his guitar back around to the front so that he could start strumming out a tune. Nothing like good traveling music to keep the spirits up. "Ah Train, what is your purpose for traveling through Mt. Moon? Is it simply to get to the other side? Ah ha ha, that is if you don't mind my asking of course."
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Jason walked out of the poke center portion of the ship, which was understandably smaller than that of a real pokemon center, with his pokemon healed up. He had been waiting there for a while, since there were a lot of trainers who needed to get their pokemon healed from battling, and a portable pokecenter on a ship could only treat so many pokemon at once. Though it was ok, the wait didn't seem that long seeing as he had slept it off mostly and without Zeus to zap him awake he slept peacefully. But now that his pokemon were back in his possession, the first thing he did was release his little electric orb from it's pokeball, magnet pokemon floating aroudn his head aimlessly it seemed. Once Jason was on deck though he was really eager to let out his newest friend. "Come on out Poseidon!" The Net Ball unleashed a cool looking net shaped laser that formed into the Mantyke that was Poseidon, bouncing around a bit confused. "Heh heh, Poseidon's your new name buddy, you and I are pals now! You wanna help me do my research?" Poseidon just looked at Jason wearily for a moment, still not sold on the idea of having a trainer now. "You'll come around, I know it! Don't blame you though. Zeus and I were being kinda rough on ya back there. But you asked for up when you splashed me with water you know, ha ha ha. We're gonna have fun, I promise. Ok?" Jason dropped down onto his knees, then back so he was sitting on the deck. Arms outstretched he looked at Poseidon with a warm smile, and simply waited there. It seemed like minuets past, a few at first but then it turned into a lot and Jason simply sat there waiting, arms a bit tired but he didn't budge. Maybe he was sleeping? Either way Poseidon just looked at him, feeling nothing but warmth coming from the young trainer and eventually inched closer to him. Once he was in range though Jason finally moved, placing his hands on Mantyke, petting him gently. Poseidon was startled at first, but fell into it and accepted it in the end. "There ya go. Friends forever, you can be sure of that."

Kasiya giggled a bit when Treecko bumped her nose against her hand. To be honest, she couldn't remember ever battling against a Treecko, and she wasn't even sure what its evolutions were, but she did like them. They were cute, and affectionate, and she laughed and patted Pan on the head when he jumped up onto her shoulder. He was definitely bigger than Kilik's Treecko, and she idly wondered if it had anything to with him being male. "There might be a gym," she said, nodding to Kilik, and she idly wondered what the gyms in Sinnoh would be like. Her heart raced at the prospect of meeting new people and Pokemon, and she absentmindedly continued to pet Pan as her thoughts rambled on in her mind. At her side, Nova let out a little whine, and she looked down at the Charmander in time to see her glaring up at the gecko on her shoulder. "Hey, knock it off, you two," she said, giving both Pokemon a stern glare. "Save it for when we get off this ship!"
A few hours later, the city of Canalave became visible to the passengers of the ship, and it was safe to say that the level of excitement on board was growing the closer they got. Before long the ship pulled into the harbor and the sailors quickly dropped anchor and prepared to let the many passengers off, but not before the captain had made another announcement indicating which restaurants in the area of the harbor would be catering to the hungry trainers, since there were too many to fit into one place.
Kasiya, Keegan and Kilik had stuck together since meeting up onboard, and now the three were just finishing up their very late but very free breakfast. Nova had spent most of the time growling at Pan, though she behaved herself for Kasiya's sake, but it was soon apparent that the young Charmander had a lot of pent up energy, possibly because her own trainer was practically bouncing up and down with excitement in her seat. "So, what are we going to do now?" she asked, setting her napkin down on the table. "Where should we go first?"
=-=-=-=-= After a tiny bit of paperwork and an extended warranty later (as Jaeshan had heard stories of what his friends had done to their bikes) he finally had himself a bike, and he was currently enjoying it by riding through the streets of Cerulean City. He didn't care that he looked like a crazy person as he laughed out loud and shifted gears, all that mattered to him was that he now had a way to get from place to place quickly. He did one more lap of the shopping district before he headed south back towards Route 5, trying to remember if there was anything else he needed to do in this town. When he thought of nothing, he headed out, though his legs felt strangely rubbery and somewhat tired already. It was still quite early in the day, not even past ten yet, and he wanted to get to Celadon City quickly so that he could finally challenge Erika to a gym match. He'd already checked the PokeMart in town for TMs, but this store didn't stock the one he wanted, so he made a mental note to try again once he got back to Saffron City.
With the new bike's speed, Jaeshan was soon making his way quickly along Route 5, and he could already see Saffron City rising up in the horizon. Thoughts of the battle he'd had with Eliza yesterday entered his mind, the Mamoswine in particular. He'd read about Piloswine before, and nothing had ever mentioned it being able to evolve further than from a Swinub. The Mamoswine had been so large, and its massive, icy tusks just as impressive, and he wondered if any of his Pokemon could evolve further than what had already been discovered.
By the time he reached Saffron City his thoughts had focused on his two newest Pokemon and he was thinking about various ways to train the two. His bike riding pace became significantly slower once he was in the city, but that was only because the streets were very busy, and he had to go slow if he wanted to avoid running into people or being run down by a car himself. He was thankful when he finally reached the PokeMart, and he carefully locked his bike up outside before he went into the store, hoping that they had what he was looking for.

There it was! Sinnoh! Canalave was huge, and with a wide river running right through it, he could see why it made such a perfect port town. He took a deep breath of the fresh sea air and stretched. Treecko did the same, clutching tightly to her master's shoulder as to not fall off. They were here! Where ever it was they were going, this was it! As Kilik stepped out onto the stone walkways of the city, he turned to see Kasiya and Keegan behind him. Certainly, he had to wonder where Mitsu had gone off to - he hadn't seen her since he finished his battle with Robin. He figured a phone call would be in order a little later. With that, he walked with the other two to "Byron's Bistro" for their free breakfast. "Say," Kilik had asked the man who seemed to run the place after getting his food, "Are you Byron?"
The man laughed, and shook his head. "Naw, boy! Byron be the Gym Leader in Canalave! Yet I don't think a wee Treecko could stand up to 'im!" he chortled louder and walked away, saying something to the effect of "he's much too strong for yee now."
Kilik let Cable out of his ball as well, which was nice considering how cramped he had started to feel in there. He grabbed a few links of sausage and bacon off of Kilik's plate and shoved them all into his mouth at once, swallowing in one gulp. "Chew your food!" he scolded, taking a sip of his orange juice. Treecko sat on the edge of the table, quietly eating an apple with very small, very lady-like bites. She didn't want to get all messy, no no. Not in a place like this! Especially since she had to make her first impression to pretty much everyone ever! Manners be damned, Cable grabbed a banana off the table and gave it a squeeze. The fruit popped straight out of it's peel and fell right into his mouth. A few bites and it was gone. At Kasiya's question, Kilik tapped his fork on the table. "Mm, y'know, I'm not sure. The guy did just say there was a Gym here, but he must be tough. I wonder..." The boy whipped his PokeNav out of his pocket and booted it up. "Perhaps I can get a map from Devon Corp..." he focused on the screen and a 'required update' popped up on the screen. He clicked 'yes' and typed in a few more things on the pad before the update began downloading.
After about five minutes, the update was done and a map of the Sinnoh region became available on his PokeNav. "Let's see, if we're here..." A small Kilik face was blinking over their location, "We're pretty isolated. The closest town is a place called Jubilife City, and it's seperated by a large body of water." He pouted, "Gee, pretty crummy location to make port in." He stood up and looked at his Pokemon. Treecko hopped from the table onto his shoulder, looking at the other two trainers. Cable walked over to his trainer's side and stretched, looking up at him. He was ready! To show off, he let a few sparks shimmer off his body. And, in spirit of their new adventure, Treecko let out a small blue flame from her mouth. "I suppose we could head over to the shore of this place and see what happens. Anyone got something we can Surf on?" Kilik asked, crossing his arms over his chest after putting his Nav into his pocket.

When the pretty reporter lady left Robin turned to her crew and gave them a big smile putting her hands on her hips. "Well that certainly was fun wasn't it?" She asked them both. Robin seemed to forget that she was probably one of the most hated people on bored the ship and should probably be watching her back at the moment. It was a good thing that Brook and Raz didn't seem to forget and the both of them did the best to usher their trainer into the back rooms. It was there that they found Luffy dutifully scrubbing the dishes, though he seemed to be doing more harm then good. The obese monkey was dropping almost everything or breaking it still not really used to his new strength.
Seeing that he was not really helping Robin, Raz and Brook each decided to step in and start helping clean up the mess. Looking after Luffy Robin picked up the broken shards before she set to helping the others wash the dishes.
When they first started there was a sort of wave of anger at them that only Raz and Brook seemed to feel, Robin and Luffy seemed oblivious. The cheerful redhead struck up a lot of chatter and soon the frosty glares directed in her direction had warmed up a lot. By the time they had finished most of the crew had warmed up to them a lot actually. Of course doing the dishes took a lot of time. In fact it took enough time for the boat to land and most of the other passengers had disembarked by the time Robin and her gang were waving goodbye.
Doing her best not to laugh at Luffy who was having problems walking around due to his new added weight, Robin breathed the sweet ocean breeze that was flowing through the port. So they had finally made it to Sinnoh, that boat trip felt like it had taken months! Facing the large city with a big grin on her face Robin placed her hands on her hips looking at everything. "Yes! We finally made it to Sinnoh gang!" Robin yelled excitement taking over for a moment as she jumped up punching the air. At her side Brook did a loop-de-loop while Luffy pumped up one chubby arm as well. Brook was the only one who didn't seem that excited, he probably had to do a lot of battles with a whole bunch of new scary things while he was here! For a moment Robin wished she could bring Black Star out so that the Totodile could see this to but he needed his rest. "All right now let's go exploring right?" Maybe they would see some of the way cool new pokemon here.
~~~~~~
Like the rest of the ship Dante was pretty hungry and pretty mad at Robin for being so irresponsible. When the boat docked Dante couldn't get off fast enough, he had to find the breeder his mom called before he even got breakfast. Sighing he ran his hand through his hair and looked around. He didn't really know the area and he couldn't say he was to thrilled with that. He just had to find the bridge though, that was where they were supposed to meet up. Deciding the easiest way to do that was to just follow the inlet Dante and Hera started to stroll down the way hoping to find it.
It turned out that the bridge was not very far at all and it was pretty noticeable. In fact it was pretty easy to find the breeder as well. He was a harassed looking man who looked like he had blasted through Sinnoh just to get here on time. Geeze what kind of favors did his mom pull to get this. Wait never mind he did not want to think about that at all. Pushing those thoughts out of his mind Dante headed over Hera trotting easily at his heals.
"You sure look like you spent all night up." Dante greeted in a somewhat teasing but mostly neutral voice.
"Huh? Oh yeah I am supposed to give this egg to one of the passengers on that ship." The man muttered not really taking a look at who he was talking to.
"I know, my mom told me that you would be here." Dante grinned lazily at the other.
Startled the man actually looked over at him and studied him for a moment before turning away somewhat embarrassed. He muttered something appologetic that Dante really wished he hadn't heard. "Ok well then if your Dante then I gotta go. I am really busy at this time of the year." He quickly handed the egg over before leaving all the while looking pretty embarrassed.
Adjusting his new cargo in his arms Dante huffed before looking down at Hera with a frown on his face. "I don't look like a girl do I?"
"Yeah, sure, fun," Riza grumbled, watching Akima as she hobbled away from the Granbull, her leg causing her a lot of pain. 'Damn, I didn't think that timid little thing had that kind of viciousness in him.' She took a deep breath and tried not to look at Terry, who wore a very smug look on his face. 'I knew this was a bad idea," she muttered, wondering what she could do for attacks if Akima couldn't move. "She doesn't have any attacks that have range..." She closed her eyes and sighed. "Akima, use Screech again," she said finally. 'If we can't go to it, we'll wait for it to come to us, and screech will make sure that he takes more damage.' Akima narrowed her eyes before she let out another very loud screeching. It was easy to do if she focused her energy on her hurt leg.
The Screech caused the Granbull to put his paws over his ears again and he howled and stepped back. He couldn't understand how that little Pokemon could make such an awful noise. "Ugh, that noise is horrible," Terry grumbled, covering his own ears with his hands. "Granbull, use a Scary face to shut that thing up." Granbull shook his head to try and make his ears stop ringing and he stomped forward, opening its jaw. His face seemed to grow larger and more menacing, especially when his eyes started glowing red, and he growled, adding to the effect.
Riza felt a shiver go down her spine at the intimidating look given off by the Granbull, and one look at Akima was enough to let her know that the Sneasel had been shaken up by it as well. "Shake it off Akima," Riza called. "It's just trying to intimidate you! Use Screech again!" It was true that the Granbull was quite intimidating, and though she was a bit scared she was still sure she and Riza could win this. She had a better idea than using screech though and instead jumped up and exhaled a chilling wind that made the whole area feel cold. * * * * * When the two small Pokemon came to a stop there was a crackle of electricity from Kord as his static tried to kick in and paralyze his opponent, but the Cherubi's previous safeguard was still protecting it from status afflictions. Both Pokemon jumped up, the Elekid whimpering a little bit as the leech seed stole a bit more of his health.
"Rubi darling, please use Bullet Seed," the lady trainer said then, and the cherry Pokemon hopped up and down before opening its mouth and spitting out many little seeds that pelted the Elekid's body over and over again.
"Kord, get in there and use your Cross chop," Katie called, deciding that she'd had enough of this little Pokemon. After the Leer, she knew this would be quite damaging. Kord let out a little yell as he brushed off a few of the seeds that clung to his body, and he ran forward, raising both of his arms high over his head. When he got up close to the Cherubi he swung them both down diagonally, landing two strong hits to the cherry Pokemon simultaneously. It cried out in pain and stumbled back before falling over backwards, its little leaf twitching. "Looks like we win this round," Katie said as the lady recalled her fainted Pokemon.
With exploring in mind Robin and her entourage marched through the city oohing and awing at pretty much everything and generally looking like tourists. Occasionally Robin had to roll Luffy along sometimes she kicked him along, but all in all they had fun exploring the city. Along the way Robin grabbed an apple to eat for herself so she wouldn't starve, just because Luffy ate all the food doesn't mean that she had any of it. As she was walking around she inevitably came across the pokemon center. Frowning Robin looked at its gleaming doors and thought about Black*Stars pokeball on her belt. The poor Totodile had battled so hard the other day that even spending all night with Nurse Joy hadn't fixed him up all the way. Sure he had won but there was a steep price to that win, he couldn't battle now for a while and that would be exactly what he would do if Robin let him out of the ball. Maybe she should send him to her parents house to rest for a while? Then she would be down a team member though, wait, she could always bring Slowpoke back and leave Black*Star in his ball! With that thought in mind Robin headed into the pokemon center giving Luffy one last kick while her other more able bodied pokemon followed behind her. Seating herself at the phone she quickly dialed her parents apartment number.
After a few rings Robin's mom picked up the phone. "Knight residence."
"Mom! Ha I guess the caller ID doesn't really work if I call from the pokemon center phone now does it?" Robin giggled.
"Oh Robin! How are you doing? We got your cute little Slowpoke the other day, he's a little odd. The poor thing is scared of all most everything, then again its reactions are so slow we aren't sure if its just everything adding up on it."
"Ah yeah that's what I wanted to talk to you about actually. You see on the boat ride over to Sinnoh, I am in Sinnoh right now by the way, Black*Star got injured really bad. Anyway I know you just got Slowpoke there but I was wondering if we could exchange them for a bit. I don't want Black*Star around me because he will want to battle and hurt himself even more."
"Oh of course dear. If your pokemon is hurt we could look after it. Black*Star is your cute little Totodile right?"
"Yeah he is pretty cute."
"All right hold on let me go get your Slowpoke and we can make the transfer right away. Oh I am so glad we got one of these transfer phones, we get to see so many new pokemon through them." Robin listened to her mom shuffle around the kitchen and after a while she heard the familiar sounds of a pokemon being recalled. There were a few more steps and then her mom was back on the line. "All right so how do we do this honey."
Robin wasn't to sure but she had a basic idea. It took them a few minutes but eventually it worked and Black*Stars pokeball was in the relative safety of her home and Slowpoke was back with her. "All right thanks mom! Make sure Black*Star doesn't push himself to far, he will probably do that. You might want to keep him in his pokeball while you are away." That said the two said goodbye wished the other luck and hung up.
Spinning around in the chair Robin held up Slowpoke's pokeball for their inspection. "Well gang looks like Slowpoke is back."
~~~~~~
At Dante's feet Hera just laughed at her charge's question. Of course he looked like a girl! He hardly had any muscle and he wore his hair like a female human would. There really wasn't anything many about him in the slightest. Hera watched as a dark look crossed her charges face for a second before he stormed off carrying the egg with him.
Even his pokemon thought he looked like a girl? Damn that was low even for him. Storming through the streets Dante wasn't exactly sure what he was looking for but he almost walked right past it. Walking backwards a few steps he stared into a hair salon that had just opened. Ok so maybe he wasn't the manliest looking person ever but he was betting that if his hair was a bit shorter it would be a step in the right direction right? Nodding to himself Dante stepped inside and was immediately greeted by a chipper young woman with a huge smile on her face.
"Like oh my god your like, here!" The young woman didn't seem to have any respect for personal space as she immediately walked over to Dante and started running her fingers through his hair. "Like oh my god! You have like, the most beautiful hair ever! It's so soft! This hair color to is so rare!"
A bit uncomfortable Dante shifted a bit clutching his egg a little closer to himself. "Um, yeah, well its nice and all but I need to cut it off." He muttered, this girl was scaring him a bit.
"Cut it all off!" The girl gasped and gave him a look like he told her he just told her he ate babies or something. "Oh no! Why would you ever do that?!"
Ok this was the embarrassing part, really it was. "I want to cut it off because people keep thinking I look like a girl that's why." Dante muttered under his breath.
The girl stared at him for a moment blinking before a thoughtful look crossed her face. "Hm, I can like see why, your like bone structure is very like, feminine. Well, I can like, make you look more like a guy without like, cutting all your hair off."
Shrugging Dante never really cared to much about his hair or appearance, except for the fact that people thought he was a girl. "Yeah sure whatever you want. I don't care to much."
Upon hearing that the girl let out a loud squeel of excitement. "Oh man! I have like always wanted to try this haircut out but no one ever let me! Oh your will like, not regret it!" With a flurry of excitement the girl ushered Dante over to a seat and carefully took the egg from him and set it down next to Hera. "All right this shouldn't like take to long! Oh I am like so excited!"

"So this is Sinnoh..." Mai murmured to herself as she made her way down the boarding ramp. She'd lost track of the children in all the excitement of the ship docking, but that was all right. She knew most of them had gone to one of the restaurants first, so she figured that while they were occupied she could get a head start on her mission. It didn't take long for her to find her way to the Pokemon Center. Even Team Rocket still needed use of the centers, both for healing and treatment of their Pokemon as well as making use of the transportation system. Luckily, the center was still relatively empty so she headed over to the the computers and took the one closest to the wall.
Cleverly, Team Rocket had their very own group Pokemon storage boxes within the system and any grunt or lackey could deposit Pokemon they'd acquired, though only certain of the higher-ups in the pecking order knew the password for withdrawals, as there were often so many Pokemon being deposited that it took more than one admin to sift through them all. Mai entered her identification number and accessed the system, and she took the Raichu's Pokeball from her belt and looked at it as the system prepared for transport. "I don't know what he's got planned for you, mousy, but it won't be fun, I can tell you that right now." She sighed and placed the sphere on the transport pad once the green light became active, and a light passed over the ball before it vanished in order to be safely stowed in the Team Rocket box. Mai withdrew her Seviper to bring her team back up to a full six and she logged out before sending a message to Giovanni in order to let him know he could access the Raichu at any time, and also to find out what their next set of orders was.
=-=-=-=-= About ten minutes later Jaeshan came out of the PokeMart, sorely disappointed in this shop as well for it lacked the TM he wanted. He had managed to convince the cashier to call the Department Store in Celadon City and see if they had what he was looking for, and thankfully they had, due to their large selection of merchandise. He went back outside and got on his bike, opting to have a quick lunch at a small cafe before he continued onward to Celadon City.
The ride to Celadon itself was uneventful, like the majority of his morning had been and he arrived in the larger city in what seemed like no time at, and since he was relatively familiar with this city as well as Saffron, Cerulean and Vermilion, it didn't take very long form him to reach the Department Store. Again, he locked his bike up outside and he went into the large building. He quickly decided that his aching legs were enough proof that he'd his exercise for the day and he took the elevator without guilt. The TM floor was just like he remembered it, with rows and rows of glittering discs of all colours. They were sorted into numbered sections which made it quite easy, and he found the bright orange disc he was looking for without having to ask for help. He brought it over to the counter and paid for it, oblivious to the fact that the lady cashier was attempting to flirt with him, and he headed back outside and to the Pokemon Center.
His Pokemon weren't really in need of healing but he thought he'd make sure they were all fully healthy anyway, and as he waited he took out the orange disc he'd just bought. Oh, that reminds me, he thought, reaching into the bag and taking out another disc, the one he'd previously bought for Beedrill. Once his Pokemon were returned to him he applied both the discs to their appropriate Pokeballs and tossed away the greyed-out discs. Confident that he now had the means necessary to obtain his Rainbow Badge from Erika, he headed outside and made his way to the gym.

"That's not Screech," Riza said to herself as the cool wind chilled the area, and she watched as the Granbull and his trainer both shivered with cold. She thought back to her Sneasel's Pokedex entry for a moment, and then smiled. "I know what that is," she said, nodding. "Akima, you've learned how to use Icy Wind!" Akima looked over at her trainer and grinned. She loved learning new tricks, and it was always nice to pick up new ice-type moves to boot.
"You're not the only one with special tricks," Terry called with a laugh. "We've also got a few interesting moves up our sleeves. Chomp, it's time to use Metronome!" he called. Chomp nodded and began to waggle his fingers back and forth, his hands glowing as the metronome's rhythm got faster. Riza had heard of the metronome but had never seen it in use before so she took a step back, knowing that metronome could be anything, from Splash to Self destruct.
Akima tensed up, keeping the weight off her sore leg as she waited to see what metronome would be come. There was a slight flash of light and suddenly Chomp was charging at Akima, his fist drawn back like he was going to punch only his fist was imbued with a weird purple glow. "Poison Jab!" Terry laughed, watching his Pokemon with excitement.
"There's no way Akima gan dodge in this condition," Riza said to herself, and sighed. "Fight back with an Ice Punch," she called. Akima nodded and reared back her own fist which quickly began to glow with icy power. The two both threw their punches at the same time, their fists slamming into each other in a show of power. Both Pokemon struggled to get the upper hand, but it seemed like Chomp was a bit stronger and was able to push forward, knocking Akima back. She faltered a little with her hurt leg and nearly fell, but she kept her balance and glared at her opponent. She wasn't finished yet! * * * * * "Hmm," the lady said once she'd pulled her Cherubi back into its ball. "Your Elekid is tough, I wasn't expecting such a fight," she said, taking another ball out of her bag. "This one will make things a little rougher," she said, releasing a tiny little plant Pokemon onto the field.
"It's a Budew," Katie observed, looking to Kord to see if he wanted to continue. His prongs were still sparking quite excitedly, and he hadn't taken too much damage other than a few rounds of leech seed and one bullet seed. 'A lot of seed attacks,' Katie thought as she looked to the tiny, pre evolved form of her Roselia. "Kord, try a Thundershock," she said. She knew it wouldn't be very effective but she was hoping to try and paralyze the little plant.
Kord whirled his arms around again to generate the energy and he let it fly at his opponent, and Katie was glad he was pretty good at aiming his electric attacks. The thundershock struck his opponent pretty solidly, though most of the attack seemed to be grounded out before it could really do anything.
"Our turn," the lady said, smiling. "Bud, please use Stun Spore on that little spark plug." The Budew jumped up, its bud opening as it released a cloud of shimmery gold spores that rained down onto Kord. He inhaled the toxins, and immediately felt his body began to seize up. 'This can't be good,' Katie thought.

Robin was greeted with a few cheers from her pokemon before she got up and stretched. "All right, so here's the plan you guys, We are going to go to wherever Jubilife city is to met up with Ampersand and then we are going to visit Professor Rowan because he said he wanted to see me, plus we didn't really get to talk at the festival did we?" That sounded like as good a plan as any. "So outside your pokeballs or inside?" Robin asked, maybe her pokemon were tired from the long night out?
In the end Brook decided to go back into the pokeball and Raz decided to stay outside and just rest on Robin's head like a sort of bug hat. "Ok! Let's go check out this probably way cool region!" Robin cheered pumping up her fist as she headed outside the pokemon center Luffy waddling after her. She had to pause for a second for the fat Ambipom to catch up with her. "Hmm, Luffy, let's turn your fatness into something cool, like muscle. So instead of following me I want you to run ahead of me then jog til I catch up then run ahead again." She had seen that sort of thing at school when kids were training for something. This way Luffy would get some training and he might get a lot faster while he was at it.
Not really giving her friend an option Robin headed off in the direction she hoped Jubilife city was in. This town was cool and all, and it had a cool looking gym but she wanted to go on adventures all over the region! So off she headed with Luffy doing a pretty funny waddle run and jog doing his best to keep up with them.
As it turns out Robin's luck would hold her through a lot of things as she guessed the right direction. Humming to herself she and Raz watched the ships go and the people mill around in wonder as they walked through the city. After a little while they reached the gate and stepping through it Robin gave a friendly wave to the guard before stepping out of it. Outside there seemed to be a small line to get on a ferry of some sort. Frowning Robin saw that they had to cross a small bit of water in order to get across. Since she had no pokemon that could surf Robin dutifully got in line and waited her turn for the short ferry ride. When she was about to get on she turned to Luffy who was jogging in place next to her.
"Hey buddy don't think you get a break just because we are getting on the boat. You are going to swim! Have fun!" Was all she said before she booted Luffy into the water. Her training done Raz and Robin got on the boat and headed over to the edge to watch Luffy try to swim across. Let's just say it was a good thing fat floats because with the way Luffy was struggling to get there it looked like they were gunna be on the other side for a little while.
~~~~~~~
It turned out that even if the bouncy girl did say like way to much she was actually a very good hair dresser. Dante had to say he was impressed with the result, he also had to admit he had never seen what she was going to do to his hair coming. After a quick wash and brush she took out her equipment and just started to go to town.
"Oh wow your hairs even better then I thought it would be. You could do anything with this hair!" The girl complemented as she ran her fingers through it. Well whatever she wanted to do with it when she was done she was free to. Dante didn't really care and just closed his eyes and hoped that he didn't like like one of those cut your own barbie's hair dolls when he was done.
When she did finish like mentioned above Dante was really satisfied and surprised. Blinking a few times he looked at himself in the mirror, he really didn't look like a girl at all anymore! That meant no more crossdressing for him anymore! Unable to even hold back a grin anymore Dante thanked the girl as he inspected his new mohawk. He wasn't bald on the sides of his head, instead Candi had just done a long buzz on the sides while leaving the middle stripe much longer, almost the length it was before. His stood up somewhat not in the straight sense you would think a mohawk would since it held a sort of softness to it. Grinning he happily paid Candi and left her a sizable tip, after all as long as it wasn't trainer things he could use his moms credit card. Grinning to himself he even took her advice to stop by and get some new clothes.
Stepping out in his new duds Dante felt much more refreshed and he figured it was time for him and Hera to get some food. Adjusting his egg in his arms he headed off to one of the appointed restaurants in hopes of getting himself and his pokemon fed.
"Not bad," Terry laughed, looking to his Pokemon. "Try Metronome again," he said eagerly. Riza wasn't sure but she began to suspect that perhaps he was waiting for a fire or fighting-type move that would be massively damaging to the Sneasel. Once again Chomp began to waggle his fingers, making a rhythmic ticking begin all around him. His hands began to glow brightly and the ticking sound got louder until there was a slight flash of light.
Chomp held up both his hands, palms turned outward and then he released a bright, rainbow coloured beam that sped towards Akima at a very quick pace. For a moment, Riza panicked, thinking that perhaps the move had been Signal Beam or maybe even Aurora Beam, but when the beam smashed into Akima's chest, and the Sneasel didn't even so much as bat an eyelid, she knew exactly what it had been, and she laughed. "Psybeam!" she shouted, shaking her head. "Psychic moves don't effect dark-type Pokemon at all," she said, looking to Akima. "Use Icy Wind again," she said, deciding to keep the strategy of using moves with long range.
Akima rubbed at her chest where the ineffective beam had hit her and smirked before looking up at her opponents again. She took a deep breath and then exhaled another chilling gust of icy wind, laughing as she watched the Granbull and his trainer shiver. Sure, it wasn't the most damaging attack she knew, but it was the only one with any sort of range, and she fully agreed with Riza's strategy, as she had no desire to go toe to toe with that thing again any time soon.
"You got lucky that time," Terry called, rubbing his arms with his hands to try and warm up. "Next time you won't get so lucky! Chomp, use Metronome again!" * * * * * Katie would be correct about the paralysis not being good. She called for Kord to use a Quick Attack but the paralysis decided to affect his legs this time around, and he tripped and face planted the ground, leaving little dents the shape of his prongs in the soft ground. "Oh no," Katie mumbled, looking over at the tiny Budew. If Kord couldn't handle this, and she was beginning to doubt that he could, then she would need to switch Pokemon. Both Genki and Noa could handle this tiny plant with ease, but at the same time she figured it might be a bit of overkill. 'I guess if I have to switch I'll bring in Seraph,' she thought.
"Now Bud, use Bullet Seed," the lady called, her voice still calm. The little plant hopped up and sent out another barrage of tiny seeds at Kord, who was somehow able to roll out of the way and avoid getting hit. The paralysis was wearing off a little, at least temporarily, and he jumped to his feet, eager to land a hit while he had the ability to do so.
"Try Quick attack again," Katie said, also noting Kord's current mobility. "Try to make it a good one too, because we don't know how long this will last. The Elekid gave a quick nod and sped forward, white light streaming from his body as he lowered his shoulder and rammed into the tiny plant, sending them both tumbling, a lot like it had happened before with the Cherubi.
Robin and Raz made it over to the other side with relative ease and they watched in amusement as Luffy, who wasn't even over half way and not a very good swimmer in the first place. It was going to be a while. Sitting themselves down on the beach Robin and Raz basked in the sun and enjoyed all the new scenery. They could see a flock of strange white and gray birds flying around and in the water there were a bunch of Tentacool.
"Hey there girlie. Is that your Ambipom out there scaring away all the fish?" Came a gruff but somewhat amused voice from behind Robin.
"Huh?" Looking back Robin spotted a grizzled old fisherman who was looking at the splashing mess that was Luffy. "Oh yeah that's Luffy, sorry about scaring away all the fish."
"Ah its ok, I needed a little break from fishing. How about a pokemon battle while we wait for your friend to come across the water?"
Getting up and brushing her stockings Robin grinned at the man. "I like the way you think. How about a one on one battle two pokemon each." Robin suggested.
"Sounds good. All right Floatzel let's do this!" The man laughed as he tossed out his pokeball to reveal a strange looking orange weasel thing.
Not exactly sure what that was Robin pulled out her pokedex and scanned it in. A helpful picture and discreption came up to explain what exactly this pokemon was. "Wow Floatzel sounds really cool. Still its not as cool as you is it Raz?" Robin asked as Raz nodded and flew off Robin's head to get into the battlefield. "All right let's get this battle started! Sonic Boom!"
"Oh? Floatzel counter with a Sonic Boom of your own!" The fishermen ordered.
The two pokemon sent off two waves directly at each other which clashed in the middle with a loud boom. The loud boom sent a small shock wave out that knocked Raz back a little in the air while the Floatzel had to brace itself on the ground.
~~~~~~
Still in his happy glow Dante didn't pay to much attention to where he picked. It ended up to be a pancake house and after waiting a moment he got a seat at a table. Pulling one of the seats out Dante placed his egg down on it before turning to sit down at his own seat, next to him Hera pulled out a seat and pulled herself into it.
Ordering a stack of pancakes and a cup of coffee and a small pot of maple syrup for Hera. They waited there easily Dante snagging a newspaper to read over his hot coffee. The two of them were enjoying themselves and Dante was really happy to not be looking like a woman anymore. At his side Hera clutched the jar of syrup and happily slurped from it. Occasionally she glanced over at Dante taken aback by the large change in him. He wasn't even wearing the feather with all the pretty crystals on it. Instead he had placed that in a nice box so that it wouldn't get ruined. They were pretty damn rare items and he shouldn't have been wearing them earlier in case someone wanted to steal them.
