Ethan felt a jolt as his ship was suddenly struck sideways. He opened vents on the ship to stabilize the spinning craft as he looked on the radar to see what had hit him. As the ship stabilized he glared at the skid. The electron shielding for his craft was on full in anticipation for the ram; no damage was done except for knocking him off-course. Well aren't you so ever conveniently placed?
He diverted energy from the shields to the Ion cannons, lowering them to nearly zero as the surge of energy charged the cannons up to full in a little over a second. The twin cannons each fired a single, concentrated blast at the Skid from close range before it had time to divert. He followed up with a barrage of torpedoes, half of which locked onto the skid and half locked onto Brook's navskid. "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."

"Oh crap... something please start working again..." Brook mumbled under her breath, hitting some of the controls to try and get her ship to respond. She saw an enemy craft headed straight towards her, and held her breath waiting for the impact, silently sighing in relief when Kearo rammed the skid into its side and her controls flickered back to life.
Brook quickly did her best to lock onto Ethan's ship, saying a quick "Thanks for that" to Kearo as she did so and fired off her own torpedoes at nearly the same time the XANA warrior had fired his.
Some of the torpedoes collided together, canceling each other out, but the ones that made it through hit her ship's shielding. The attack shook the navskid, but the ship seemed to be able to sustain the damage, and Brook fired once more at Ethan.

Kearo felt the Skid rumble as the enemy trying to ram Brook was knocked off course when he came speeding to save her. Of course, the shields of the Skid took a lot of damage, and the barrage of fire from Sakio's craft had taken their toll as well. With all the power in the shield, and with no time to divert it all to the propellers, Kearo had to sit there and take the barrage of fire coming from Ethan's craft. The Skid shook on the inside when the torpedoes came, and the shields were now lowered down to 15%. Even though there was still power in the shields, one torpedo managed to slip past when the shields were disabled for one millisecond, causing an explosion against the hull. "s**t! Connor, open fire on Ethan!" Kearo wasn't able to fire back, all the power was drained from the weapons and into the shields, some was left in the propellers, though. If he tried to divert power to the weapons, Ethan's craft would've already gotten power to the shields, and that would leave Kearo and the Skid open to an attack from Sakio.

"Huh?" Conor broke off his approach toward the Shadow stream and turned back toward the main craft. Much to his surprise, it was being hammered by the other XANA-warrior even though he was fighting two-against-one. Where did he come from?
He smiled as he saw Brook shoot off torpedoes toward him at close range. If I fire now he has to run...
"You got it," he said as he quickly boosted toward the scene and locked onto Ethan, firing torpedoes at his ship from behind.

"s**t!" Warnings blared throughout the cockpit as the onboard computer appeared to have a panic attack, detecting multiple torpedo launches. Instead of trying to re-create his shield, he diverted all available power to the engines and punched the throttle to full, boosting out from the scene in a hurry. He breathed a sigh of relief as the torpedoes began trailing behind him, relentlessly pursuing his ship's data signature.
Flying with the torpedoes behind him, he counted four as he equalized the power output between all systems. He slowed down as the torpedoes began catching up, and banked down and to the left in a descending spiral of decreasing diameter, the torpedoes following suit. After a few turns he came out of the spiral in a fast barrel roll, the torpedoes behind him colliding with one another in their attempt to stay locked on to his ship. One torpedo reached its mark, exploding against the engine vents of his ship.
>> Missile impact detected. Port engine losing power.
"You've gotta be joking..." His eyes narrowed as he looked at the holographic screens around him. "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."

Alicia scowled under her breath as the torpedoes had missed their target and just kept going. She looked back at the controls, trying to figure out how the hell she was suppose to use these things. Her attention went briefly to the others as the fighting was becoming more chaotic. It was rather strange that those intruders were putting up such a fight. "Why are they even here?" Alicia asked as she watched them take damage. From what she could see, they weren't cowards that's for sure. Learning from her first mistake, she took her time with her next move. Once it had locked onto its target, she launched another torpedo straight for the closest enemy. "I doubt they can dodge this."

Sakio smirked when he heard Alicia's question, he must have taken a bit more than he thought he did, apparently her memories came out when he drained her of her energy. "They're here to die." He kept the ship facing the Skid, watching as Kearo took on all the punishment that was meant for Brook. It was a sight to behold, watching his weaker body as the end came near. He kept the comms open even after he already delivered his message to Kearo, he wanted to send another one to him pretty soon. Looking down at the radar, he found that Ethan had fled to avoid the torpedoes sent at him, but instead was hit in the port engine. "Ethan, getting sloppy there." He said to himself as he watched Ethan's ship on radar. With the opened comms, he connected with the Skid and found Kearo's face appearing on screen. "Prepare for another one. Courtesy of Alicia."

Kearo looked at the radar, seeing that Conor's ship started facing Ethan's ship and then opened fire, also seeing that Brook had opened fire as well. He watched the enemy ship boost off to avoid the torpedoes. The torpedoes follow him, even with Ethan maneuvering with such skill and having some torpedoes collide with one another, he saw one had hit him on the left side. "Now's the time to get him!" He yelled into the comms. He heard a familiar voice come out through the comms, seeing that it was Sakio transmitting into the Skid, telling him to prepare for another one. "Another what?" He looked out the cockpit and found a torpedo heading towards the Skid. It made impact with his slow moving craft, and whatever power the shields had left was now gone. It would take some time for the shields to regenerate, but that was enough to take out the Skid and him along with it. The huge screen in the cockpit showed him the damage, the shield were at 0% and hull integrity was at 95%. He looked back down at the screen and Sakio's face, who was somehow able to get onto the channel he and the others were on. "Sakio! You b*****d! Alicia! Try and fight it!" Although he knew it was difficult, or impossible, he had try and get through to her, maybe there was some hope of taking Sakio out without taking Alicia down with him.

Brook smiled to herself seeing that one of the torpedos hit Ethan's ship, feeling a small sense of accomplishment. Even though we both fired just one hit... the pessimist in the back of her mind thought. Still, it seemed like the hit did a decent amount of damage from what Brook could see, and it was beginning to help build her confidence to fire more instead of just dodging.
Realizing it was a good chance to target him again, Brook locked onto Ethan once more and fired. Over the channel came strange voice, the voice of Alicia's captor, followed by Kearo, who was attempting to get through to Alicia. "Alicia? Can you hear us? Snap out of it! We're trying to rescue you!" Brook chimed in as well, hoping it would somehow help.

"I'd like to see you do better with four torpedoes strapped to your a**." Ethan glared in Sakio's direction as he turned his ship around. Seeing the torpedo come toward him, his eyes narrowed.
I don't think so... he thought dismissively as he ramped his shields up to full. Unlike with the last attack, he wasn't pressed for time in dealing with this single torpedo. His ship rocked backwards as the missile exploded against its nose. He brought the shield down to moderate levels as he flew back toward the battle. Though the port engine was operating at close to full power right now, it was steadily losing power and only a matter of time before it flamed out. He estimated that he had about 20 minutes before he would be stuck running on one engine.
Singling out the navskid that had attempted to ram previously, he set his sights on Brook. Flying in low and fast, he gained lock on her navskid but went in for a head-on collision. Meanwhile, the ion cannons began slowly charging up again. "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."

"No," Conor said in reply to Kearo. "Sakio's here, let's get him first." He arched his head to see Ethan's ship come streaking into the scene once again. "s**t, nevermind. Brook, watch out!"
Having warned her, he turned back toward Sakio's craft, gained lock, and fired twice. He felt tears welling up in his eyes but held them back as he tried to get through to the captive Lyoko warrior. "Alicia! We're your friends! Your enemy is XANA! Listen to me!"

Alicia's eyes narrowed as Sakio replied to her question even though she wasn't really expecting an answer.Either they're suicidal or incredibly stupid. She imagined as those seem to be the only plausible reasons. She merely went back to taking aim at one of them while they were distracted. She let out a small chuckle as she heard the one talking to Sakio. "oh I plan to fight," she said under her breath. Weird that he knows my name. she thought as she frowned slightly.
Alicia merely shook her head thinking that they must have hacked into the system to learn more about their enemies. She tried to take aim again but kept hearing more voices. The girl on the other side grabbed her attention. "Rescue?" she asked herself almost not believing what she just heard. Don't they mean capture or destroy? She merely shook her head thinking that they were simply trying to trick her. Alicia stared long and hard at the controls in front of her trying to keep her focus. Just at that moment, she heard another one yell at her.
Alicia's head snapped back up, "Wait, what?" she asked. She didn't understand what was going on. The last two sounded worried, but why? If this was all a trick, why was it bothering her so much. Her head began to hurt as she let go of the controls. She held her head in her hands as she tried to figure out what was going on exactly.

Kearo heard the others pitching in to try and free Alicia, it seemed that some of their words were getting through. He looked back at the status of his ship, the hull already sustained damage and the shields haven't regenerated. "Come on...! Come on...! Don't go out on me now...!" He smashed his fist on the control panel in hopes of getting the shields to regenerate quickly, all to no avail. He looked back at Sakio's craft, which had stopped firing. "Alicia! You need to fight it, not us! I know you're still in there! Don't let Sakio take everything from you!" he yelled over the comms, seeing that Alicia was holding her head instead of her hand being on the weapons controls. He then looked at the radar, seeing that Ethan's craft had targeted Brook's for another ram. Out of the cockpit, he could see that the collision was imminent, and that Ethan was charging up his weapons to be fired as soon as he came in contact with Brook. "Brook! NO!" He navigated the Skid near Brook's navskid and made the nose return to a straight 180 degree line to block Ethan's ship from ramming her. Even though she had shields, she still had a smaller craft, and it wouldn't be able to take the ram and a hit from both the ion cannons.

Sakio looked down at a screen that was monitoring Alicia, seeing that the cries for her to fight XANA's spell had an effect. "Alicia, don't listen to them. Your allegiance is with XANA, and they just want to capture you." Even though Sakio was the one who put the spell on her, he wasn't able to do that while he was in his craft. He noticed that Ethan was going at Brook's navskid again for another ram, and that Kearo was foolish enough to try and protect her with the unshielded Skid. "Show them that they're foolish to come in here. Blast Kearo out of Zero Space right now."

"You again?" Ethan glanced over at the Skid, moving in to protect his target. His eyes narrowed in frustration as he punched the throttle all the way up to MAX, deciding to not waste the energy he used to get his ship up to speed and to just ram the obstructing ship instead. The 3 torpedoes fired after he adjusted their flight paths, curving sharply around the Skid toward Brook's navskid.
"Why do you always insist on getting in my way?!" He growled into the headset as the nose of his ship collided with full force against the Skid's main boom. His shields protected his ship from the impact, leaving only a small dent on the nose while the majority of the impact's force was transferred into the Skid's hull. As he spun off from the collision, he stabilized his craft and blasted the Skid with two fully-charged blasts from the ion cannons.
Content with what he had done, he turned and chased after Brook's navskid once again. "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."
