It's nice to have people to commiserate with.

Yes it is!! blaugh

The last few days I think I have been feeling some movements. Though I am not 100% sure. I thought I would know for sure the second time around but man it's hard to tell still.

*sigh* I can't wait for the first kicks and such, actully looking pregnant instead of just fat! It doesn't seem like there's a baby in there yet, weird, huh? Maybe it's just me razz

Thanks Monkey! It was about 9 months when I became pregnant again. I think I have healed pretty well but of course I am no doctor and I can't see what I look like on the inside! wink I wasn't planning on getting pregnant so fast either (on the first try at that). I had just went off the BC and we figured it would take a couple months at the *very* least!

As for another c-section, I don't know. Ideally I would love to to for a VBAC but I don't think any Ob's/midwives in my area will try for one. I have been doing a lot of research and my next appointment Thursday I plan to talk to them about it. I am hoping that they can at least point me in the direction of an Ob or midwife that will if they definatly will not. I love the Ob/Midwife team I go to now (they delivered Ethan) but I think if I can find someone who says I have a chance at a VBAC and is willing to try as well I will switch.
Most ob's won't because there is such a high risk. But it CAN be done. You just have to be VERY closely monitored during the whole labor process. You have to be watched very carefully with the understanding that at a moments notice they may need to do an emergency csection. They will probably make you sign a ton of liability forms. But if it's what you want and you feel ready fight for it. It' your baby and your body. Alot of doctors seem to forget that. VBAC is out for me. My incisiion didnt heal properly. I have a ton of scar tissue and calcification among enometriosis so i was told i will always have to have csections now. I know how it goes with the bc. Don't feel bad i went into the doc for a yearly and to ask how long i had to be off BC to get pregnant because huby to be and i wanted to start asap since we were getting married in a few months. She got an odd look and asked if i was on BC ..which i was high dose actually. Then dropped the bombshell that i was 6 weeks pregnant xD we unknowingly got a head start. Considering we were using BC , condoms and i have fertility problems we jokingly call him the miracle baby. And word of advice don't use planned parenthood condoms. They break and are actually ranked like the worst us condoms. Gee thanks PPH. Also to the other girls.: I started showing really early maybe 6 weeks. When i went to the OBGYN i was upset thinking i gained weight but i had lost almost 15 when they weighed me. I was like WTH but later on in the visit i figured out why. xd I just felt fat till about 25 weeks when overnight my stomach stuck straight out. o.O It's annoying to wake up and nothing even fits to go but new clothes.

Those first kicks are precious but the amazed feeling fades abit when they karate kick your ribs lol. I remember the first kicks feel kinda like bubbles. whee The first good kick was what made it so real for me well that and the 12 wk sono. Which were close together. I felt the baby move freakishly early. I remember saying it feels like a goldfish is in there or something. That was at about 13-16 weeks. I can't believe he's 10 months already. Where does the time go. eek

Yeah, the first couple of kicks are great, it's those 8 month kicks that kind of double you over, when you can see the little foot pop out of your stomach, that kill you! I still want those first kicks though, SOMETHING that makes it seem like there's actully someone in there!

I know what you mean Ritza!! I had people asking me when I was due at about 3 months along! gonk

People didn't start commenting on my bump until a couple of weeks ago! I'm coming up to 10 weeks away from birth now.

xd

No wonder I was feeling fat for so long. Maybe people are just more aware of putting their foot in it if they say 'When's the baby due?' and the person isn't pregnant...

Americanbaby.com shows what babies look like as they are developing in the womb. I showed Zoe and she thought it was pretty neat.

*sigh* Tuesday was Elly's 2nd birthday sad I can't believe she's so big already. Not sure if it's the pregnancy hormones, or my baby REALLY becoming a big girl.. she went on the potty all day long!

I noticed yesterday she was 2 years and 1 day old on your ticker and was going to wish her a happy birthday, but I must have gotten distracted and forgotten! Happy birthday to her!

Froggi- Happy 2nd birthday to your Elly!!

I just got back from my dr. appt/ultrasound and it's a....BOY! heart

They think they may push my due date back a week though. I also lost weight again! No idea how, I eat all the time it seems. I saw the midwife and she was a lot more open to talking about a VBAC then the doctor was orignally. Though she won't do one she said she would gladly refer me to someone who would. She pointed me in the direction of some info and once I get to read through it we would talk about it all at my next appointment.

Congrats on finding out you're having a boy, Syllandra!

This week and today especially I've been having the first trimester blahs. I'm just so tired and today I've been really achy, too. I miss getting to take ibuprofen.

Congratulations on having another boy!

For those of you who have gotten to hear your baby's heartbeat, how far along were you when you first were able to hear it? I have an appointment in a week, at which point I'll be 9 weeks and 4 days along, and my doctor said there's a chance we might be able to hear it then. I was just wondering if any of you were able to hear it that soon.
