Luna shook her delicate head. "We have not met, you must be newer here I have been away most of the day though I am fairly shy so I have yet to meet most of the others." She walked slowly keeping the unbrella over both of them. "Feels good doesn't it?" She paused. "To stand in the rain without a worry or care even for a second, If there wasn't the threat of catching cold I would do it myself." She smiled though it was so strange to see someone so frienly a stranger come up and help even when she had no need to.

Reijin smiled at the new face. "Welcome to the Okiya. My name is Tsukiyono Reijin. I arrived here a few days ago. You should probably locate the Okiya mother. She can help settle you. Now, if you will please excuse me, I have to finish cleaning up the kitchen." With that, she turned and started back towards the kitchen. Pausing a moment, she turned slightly, speaking to the girl from over her left shoulder. "And please do not worry about entering the Okiya. This is now your home. Besides," she added, a smile playfully curling around her lips, "a geisha should never have to stand outside in the rain."

Konoka gaped after Reijin before snapping back into reality and bowed again, "A-Arigatou, Reijin-sama. I am Konoka... just Konoka." She lifted herself back up and looked around the clean okiya. She slipped off her sandals and pulled her hair up quickly in a bun. She walked past the front doors and stopped quickly as the maiko and maid made their way past her, she quickly dropped herself, bowing, "Ko-Konbanwa..."

Reiko for a moment simply nodded, before she realized, the Maiko was ahead of her in the game, she had to be respectful so, naturally she took the umbrella handle from the Maiko and would hold it over the woman's head herself. It was the least she could do as they walked carefully back to the Okiya. Avoiding mud puddles and whatnot. "I agree with you... on'nashujin*... it would be wonderful, to sit out in the rain and not worry about the consequences..." A smile came over Reiko then before she sighed, and once they reached the Okiya door, she opened it for the Maiko, allowing her in first.
(* - on'nashujin means Mistress in Japanese. ^_^)

Popo wiped the tears from her eyes and looked at Iyasu, "Really? You really think so?" A smile began to form on Popo's face as she hugged Iyasu again tightly saying, "Oh, thank you, thank you, Iyasu-san! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!! (([/thankyourape])) "I won't let you down Iyasu-san! I promise!" She hugged Iyasu once more tightly. Her face was shining brightly as she embraced Iyasu with great joy.

Yokome saw the joy on Tanpopo's face. She was glad that Iyasu-san was taking on another younger sister. Yokome was anxious to find out when it would become time for her to be a geisha!

Luna blinked as the Maid spoke and smiled, this girl was so polite. "Yes it would be very nice, thankyou so very much." She bowed slightly though on doing so strands of her hair came loose and fell over one eyes almost adding a mysteriouse alluring look to her face. "You should hurry and dry off and change so you don't get sick it's a terrible thing to endure I have been caught in the rain before." She nodded taking the unbrella and shaking the water dropplets off carefully opened it and layed it down to dry. "Here come with me." She motioned for the young maid to come with her to her room. "Your hair is a mess and if it dries tangled then that will be difficult and painful to fix." Luna realized how much she'd changed here all due to Yukiko's kindness Luna realized she was being the same helping the young maid that she happened to like realizing the girl and her were quite alike though Luna still had her troubled thoughts, she was unsure if she had a dream to be a geigha or if she was just riding along on what came.

To see the joy in Popo-chan's face, made her smile in glee and excitement. She enjoyed being an older sister and being able to teach the "next generation" of a geisha in the fine arts she was taught.
"Well, girls, I think we need to do a small celebration!" Iyasu nodded as she looked out to the hall to see if a maid was near by, "Then, I will give you a lesson or two! I want both of you to pay attention, because when you go out with me to a party you don't to embarassas yourself and look like a fool!" She told them like it was, if they did something foolish, then they would terribly embarassased and make the appearance of the okiya look horrible as well.

Reijin wiped her hands on her rag as she exited the kitchen, mentally making note of the tasks she completed today. She decided to make a full sweep throught the first floor of the okiya to make sure everything was in order. The second floor, she knew, contained the geishas' rooms, as well as the okiya mother's room, and Reijin wasn't sure she was allowed up there without permission. 'I would not want to disturb anyone's belongings, or anger Okaa-san by intruding, but surely no one would have an objection if perhaps I swept the hall?' Glancing around, she located a broom, and tucked the rag she had been using into her obi. Still cautious, she started sweeping the stairs, working her way up to the second floor.

"Oh, excuse me, maid?" Yet another new face in the okiya, she once knew almost all of the maids and maiko in the okiya, but now there were so many new maids and maiko it was almost impossible to keep up! She smiled thoughtfully to her, as she waved her to come over.

Reijin's head snapped up at the geisha's voice, realizing she was the only other person in view at the moment. Quickly ascending the stairs, and nearly tripping over her kimono as she did, she bowed to her before responding. "You called, Geisha-sama?" she said, her voice soft and unassuming, her eyes downcast out of respect and nerves. "May I be of some assistance to you?"

Reiko was authentically surprised at the kindness she was being showed by this Maiko. And indeed she wanted to become a Geisha, she had ever since she was old enough to know what a Geisha was. For a moment Reiko remained standing there in shock, however she soon snapped herself out of it and would follow the Maiko to her room, which she was hesitant to enter at first. However she did make work of drying herself enough so she would not drop water everywhere over the Maiko's belongings and on the floor. Bad enough she had left a slight trail marking her entrance to the Maiko's room with the water coming off her. Reiko made a mental note to make sure to clean that up later. "...I... I.. Arigatou... on'nashujin..." A slight bow then as she would follow the Maiko into the room, all ready thanking her for her kindness and assistance.

Luna smiled softly. "Remember I was a maid once aswell." She picked out some brushes and motioned for her to sit down on a tami mat. Luna layed a towel down below the girl so she could brush her hair out without getting water all over the floor. She used the brush and with gentle strokes being careful not to hurt her Luna moved through the girl's hair getting out as much water as she could before finishng with a softer brush so the young maids hair was straight and soft. "There now you wont catch codl and it looks lovely." She smiled softly and began to clean up mopping the water from the hall and her room folding the towels and setting them on the floor in a neat folded pile.

"Ah... I... you shouldn't do that!" Reiko was shocked to see the Maiko doing the lowly job that she herself should be doing. After all, it was the only way she could see to repay the woman for her intense kindness. Gently nudging the woman out of the way, she took over the duties, cleaning up the water drops from the floor and making sure that the mats were dry and the hallway would be taken care of. "I can't allow you to do the menial tasks of a maid, now that you have become a Maiko, and rightfully so." Reiko offered a smile then, as she touched over her hair, as was habit... never before had it been so soft..
