Spidergirl nodded slowly, "Gotham..." She repeated so she could remember the name. Great, a universe mash up, just what I need. She sighed and looked around again, "Do you know the direction back to New York?" I have to find dad, he should know what's going on.

"New York? Yeah, it's down this way." she said, pointing behind her. Or at least to where her appartment used to be. Ugh, something else she had on her to do list.

P'Gell P'Gell rolled her fingers on the table near her chair. She hadn't moved much. She had ordered food using the hotel phone not to far away. Now she waited and waited and waited it seemed. She picked up the book she left on the table and layed on her back as she flipped through her book. She flipped slowly to the page with the bookmark. She wasn't sure what else to do. She thought about trying to call about reservations but she enjoyed just showing up so much more. Giving a few hundred to get any table she wanted. Maybe she would stop by a resterant that was owned by a big spender. Depending on her mood that might do just fine. She stretched her legs out and put her feet off the end of the chair as she started to read and let her consious drift into the book hopeing her food arrived soon.

Entering the grim city, Vandal Savage immediately knew where he was, and where he needed to go. It was a benefit of being immortal; anywhere you go, you've probably been there before, unless you stayed in one place, which would be moronic. Unbeknownst to him, he was in full view of Spidergirl and Sapphire Spider on their roof, as well as Peyton's apartment window, and P'gell's window. He didn't care much who saw him; most people would simply see him as a very tall, very well built, very well-dressed man. And although he didn't have any superpowers, other than immortality, if anyone actually messed with him, they'd also find out that he could add 'very dangerous' and 'very hard to kill' to that list. He walked towards Wayne manor, taking his time; he hadn't been here for a while, and was enjoying the walk.

Spidergirl nodded, "Thanks so much." She said, relief surged through her words as she released a webline at a nearby building and started to swing in the direction Sapphire had said New York could be found. Well, third times a charm. She thought to herself sarcastically. Below Spidergirl could see a tall man who seemed kind of out of place, but she paid little attention to him. He wasn't doing anything wrong and she had somewhere she needed to get to.

 Gold Star watched the spider swing off towards the city. Web swinging did look pretty cool.
She caught a bit of thought waves coming from below her and glanced down curiously. Whoever it was had a lot of memories to browse through. And he didn't seem like he was the goodey two shoes type.
"Hey Meme? There's a guy over there." Gold star said in sapphire's head.

Sapphire sighed. 'Will you stop calling me that? What do you mean by Meme anyway?'
'You're my...um...mamaw.'
Sapphire blinked a moment. Mamaw...as in GRANDMA?! 'Alright...and what guy? I'm still a little preoccupied.'
'That guy. On the street.' she replied.
Sapphire glanced down at the street a moment, and felt her heart skip a beat. From where she was at, the man looked a lot like Blackstone.
'No...no I don't think it's gramp-BLACKSTONE! I mean Blackstone...I don't think it's him.'
Sapphire paused a moment, then formed some of her sapphire strands in her hands. Kid was right, it wasn't him. She probably wouldn't have been able to use her powers if it was him. Then again she'd been gone for months, he could have decided to replace that power since he didn't need it.
Curious to find out if it was him or not, she moved off of the rooftop and onto the side of the wall...momentarily forgetting about the other man that had asked for her help. She tried to be as stealthy as she could, just in case it was him. She made her way closer to him, then suddenly stopped as she thought more about what the kid had said.
"He's your WHAT?" she hissed outloud.
'Eh-heh....oops.' Star said nervously.

A slight hissing sound, too low to make out what was actually said, was caught by Vandal Savage's ear. He turned and faced the direction that it came from, but saw nothing. "Come out," the immortal said, "If you mean me harm, all you will accomplish is learning what it means to be mortal."

Sapphire's attention snapped back to the man she had followed and grimmaced under her mask. Just great...well, now that she could really see his face, it wasn't Blackstone. Though he was almost creepily similar.
'See...told you it wasn't him.' Star's voice said.
Sapphire's grimmace grew a bit, then caught movement beside her and gasped slightly as she slid down the wall by reflex. A girl in a black cloak and gold armor sat on the wall beside where she had been.
'Sorry...want me to pop out there so he thinks it was me?'
'You've done quite enough...' Sapphire thought back to her.
'Not my fault you broke your stealth.' Star thought as she crossed her arms.

'It's ok...' Star thought as she flew down and wraped one arm around Sapphire's. 'We'll go out together.'
Sapphire gave her a small dirty look under her mask before pulling her arm free. 'Just go home kid.' she replied.
'But I can't! I'm from your world and there's nothing there that's here...'
'Then just stay here.' She thought as she lept from the wall and towards the edge of the ally so that the man could see her.

"8... 7... Ah, there you are." Vandal hadn't needed to even reach five. This woman had been hesitant, but not out of fear. Interesting... And she seemed to have a decent figure on top of it. "I am very familiar with the costumed heroes of my world, but I do not know you." He didn't state the fact that he knew all those heroes thanks to the fact that he's lived long enough to have faced each and every one of them.

"I'm not from either of these worlds." Sapphire replied, not knowing exactly which world he was from. "Didn't mean to seem like I was following you. I was passing through and got...distracted." she said. Honestly she was following him, but she didn't feel like explaining why.
Knife in his hand, kid was probably right about her needing to check him out.

"Distracted? How so?" Vandal was actually interested. His demeanor changed a bit. He was suddenly more poised, more like a ruler of men, a king, even, than a killer of men. The knife stayed in his hand, however.
