Zhaan WIP of a pic I'm doing since 2 months *faints*, I need critiques if you can give some plz just click on the link ^^ http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=349918(browse the topic until the last page to see progression and the last update) I'm glad I don't offer this kind of art on gaia (though I could get millions in auctions maybe lol ) ...but it's too much work lol xp

Queen Zenobia *hides her pixel art in a corner* But I like your pixel art! gonk Be proud of your non-conforming, sketchy, pixel ways! *cough* Anyway, I haven't been around much. ninja Or have I? So here are a few things I did for my shop.    And if any of you would be so kind as to do a price check for me, I would appreciate it. I dunno how much to charge. And so I ended up charging far too little. The prices were adjusted already, but I just wanna see if I'm being reasonable. Or too reasonable for that matter. sweatdrop

wing, only one xD...the second one isn't shredded, but is only about 1/7 size of the big one...poor mutated boy v.v....
...sometimes I wonder about myself...for example, why do I make my characters suffer so much xp...please tell me I'm not the only person here that hurts their characters, shatters their dreams, and brings them into a total trauma...?
...and the funny thing is, that I just love happy endings xP

Reiko has psychological problems. And is cursed. Annd has trouble with boys. And she's an alcoholic. And her mother slept around. And her mother and all the other people that lived with her got slaughtered by a rival clan.
Most of my other characters don't have it so bad. I notice that majority of them have unhappy pasts. Go figure. xd Makes for an interesting RP.

Happy ending? Don't worry, I tried to give a character smallpox the other week. I got disallowed, but it just shows they're there to tourture. I've killed one character so often my RP buddies started joking about it.

I try to include some trauma, but not too much that it stops being realistic... but not so littelt that it's boring (anime/fantasy genres tend to lend themselves better to tortured pasts. in fact, people are like "BOOOORING" if the char hasn't got a past. XD). And if they do face trauma, I make sure some characters are resilient and some aren't. My work is all about stylized/heightened/beautified realism, so it figures my stories would be, too.

i did a tutorial too, was able to finish it about 4 days ago - it's a flash vector tutorial xDDD
well part one at least, it's just an intro to flash for people who have never used the program.
