*still half-dead*
My Math part B was RAPE... Sodomy on paper.
I did pretty well on Part A, though.
Tomorrow I have history papers 1 and 2 (one is source based, the other is two essays)
And then...the day of my doom. History IB HL Paper 3 in the morning and Chem IB SL Papers 1 and 2 in the afternoon. History Paper 3 consists of 3 essays in 2 and a half hours. All of them should be over 1000 words long. Chem...I just don't understand.
ON. THE. SAME. ********. DAY.
I should just kill myself now ><

Landa, I know it sucks a bunch right now, but trust me, if I could go back and do high school over again, I would have taken as many IB/AP credits as I could have. Our tests were 83 dollars a pop. I took two and walked away with 12 credit hours before I set foot in school. Hell even the community college in my area cant compete with that kind of pricing, they run 62 bucks a credit hour (which is a steal) and thats STILL got nothing on the convenience of not having to waste time with college classes.
Keep at it, it's worth it.

Keep at it, it's worth it. Yes. It really is. It's not like this is some state standardized test where they lower the standards until the right number of people passes. Of course, they're significantly harder as a result, but yeah. Worth it. It's like community college, in that your tuition is automatically partly subsidized by the government, but it looks a lot more impressive. http://www.explosm.net/db/files/Comics/Rob/nowomen.pngAlso: Dynasty Warriors: Gundam I am not kidding.

Thanks for the support guys ^__^
Thankfully, I managed to survive today (though my hand hurts like a b***h right now). Did all right on my 3 essays *actually managed to finish*. Bombed Chem Paper 1, but I think I did really well on Chem Paper 2 which is worth more anyway!
Now all I have left is Chem paper 3 and 3 Bio papers. I should be good from now on in...
I miss my mommy, though...she isn't going to be home for Mother's day...

I posted up the magic and technology document for Collide, but the opportunity for romance has presented itself, so the rest will have to wait until tomorrow.

I got a free, new laptop thanks to Best Buy's ridiculously bad business sense "No Lemons" policy. It has Vista on it.
Vista is strange.

*sigh*
My grandpa passed away today.
The last time I saw him was several years ago. My mother's in China right now with him, but he's had a breathing tube in so they weren't able to let him wake up because of the pain.
She's been there for about a week and hasn't even been able to hear him speak to her. He just passed away today from pneumonia and was turning 91 this year.
He's lived through the Chinese Cultural Revolution as an intellectual (he was a professor) and I know that if he had written his story, it would've been a good one.
I firmly believe that although he wasn't able to hear my mother through his ears, he heard her through his heart. Sounds cheesy, I know. But I really do believe that. I know he's in a better place now, but it's still pretty upsetting. I've cried buckets today.

Thanks Val, that means a lot.
My mommy's coming back Friday, though. That's good news.
