Sorry Umi. We weren't here. Next time, go to the Healthy Dragons thread and get it to some ER sites too, so you don't have to depend on one of us being online when it's so close. sad Sorry it didn't make it. pd2care Oh snap. Severe thunder storm watch, and possible twisters and one inch hail up the road a piece. We don't live in the Mid West, we live in Cali! Hope it misses Angels' house.
We had many, MANY inches of rain all in a short time. No hail in Citrus Heights, but hubby was driving in Rancho Cordova and got caught in it. smile
Got all the hanging plants wrapped for the freeze. Even added another heated bed to the cardboard box shelters on top of the covered spa, so the strays will have a place to sleep that is fairly dry, fairly warm and very safe. I know, I'm such a softie.
o_O Good grief! Glad you're all all right. We got 7 inches of snow on Monday night but it's all melting now. Got your eggs~ (and don't send that nasty weather this way, please and thanks! xD)
Was he in Rancho when the tornado touched down? He missed that "fun", thankfully. Tonight is going to be really cold. I pray for the homeless and the strays, of all species, who must be out in it tonight. I've got the plants wrapped and the dryer is running to warm the not-allowed-in-the-house (don't ask) cat who is wintering over. That's all I can do. Stay warm Robynn.
Got my sweats on, door to my bedroom closed to keep the heat in here. My daughter, on the other hand, is at work, across the street from the county fair grounds, at the train station, in the cold. Gonna be 28* when she gets off work. I'm PRAYING there's not black ice on 99. Also praying our local homeless have a place to get warm. We have lots of them in town. sad
