This deserves a double-post. My second RP is up, inspired by Thief: Deadly Shadows and other games in that vein. Give it a look-see, you might like it.

Thief rawksors. Shalebridge cradle scare the feck out of me. Had to take a mental break from the game.

Shalebridge Cradle scared the fook outta me too. That level is 99% suspense scary and 1% environmentally scary, simply because the stuff there, well, just isn't human anymore. I had a guide help me get through that level, though. But that was after it said to leave the first time, and the whole "s**t, the Cradle won't let me go" thing was freakin' amazing and scary at the same time...
But the way you get out is ingenious...

They pop up! Like dasies!
The place itself looked creepy. I'd give the setting a few more points because the music, everything else... you're like expecting to be jumped. I HAD to play it during the day time, took me three times but I had to quit either because of death or freakiness. I managed to complete it in like fifteen to thirty minutes though with my "screw everyone" philosophy while chanting "get the stuff, get the stuff".

I just thought it was great that towards the middle they forced you to change tactics, what with the whole "backstabbing just knocks them down, and blackjacking them just pisses them off" thing....

Woah, people are flocking back.
It was... different when the Cradle wouldn't let you leave though.
Before, at the beginning, I thought that the game would be realistic, never playing the first two games or knowing anything about it... until I got to the sewers. Dear gawd, the hulking... THING... I tried to kill it. Scared the hell out of me.

Well, not really flocking back. I just got access again to my avie, after MONTHS of it being inaccessible for some reason. I just got back onto it last night, for the first time! whee
Then I just decided to post in the LRPA.

this is slightly off topic, but is the 3rd Theif game for as well? For some reason I think it's only a console game. If it IS PC compatible then it'd probably be well worth pirating... stare

I'm pretty sure I've seen it for PC, it's just called Thief III, Deadly Shadows instead of just Thief, Deadly Shadows, because the previous two didn't hit consoles.

Anywho, yes. I don't think I'll be joining any rps at the moment, I have two already and a tough semester (bio, chem, calc)....Bio and Chem of which I have to pull my marks up to an 85% somehow...soo....
