I don't really see a need for one. O_o If one wants to post for the sake of posting, there are a handful of word games that aren't too hard.
Although I am kinda bothered that there seems to be someone who chooses to hang out only in the Word Games forum...it's like, man, don't you wanna get out of there and talk to somebody?

It's just that the guy in question has never left the Word Games forum ever since he joined. lol
I'm not saying it's wrong, it just bothers me a bit. I dunno why. Maybe it's a mod feeling.

I knoooooow. rofl That used to be the problem here, actually. It was so annoying to find misplaced threads. But back then, the subforums weren't organized the way they are right now.

But that's the guild where I'm a mod.

Take it from me, what got activity going in this guild lately was that some of us mods took the time to PM every single person on the memberlist about the contests. gonk And a ruthless cleaning out of the memberlist.
You gotta have an active Vice Cap around before you try that last one, though. Only they can lift banned status. I learned that the hard way. lol Now that I am a Vice Cap, though, I feel free to do annual memberlist cleanouts. twisted
Fortunately, a Guild Announcement feature is in the works, so that we won't have to go through all that tedious PMing again. But I want it naaaaaoooooo~

That sounds good, I'd like to be able to reach the entire guild quickly.
Especially since I'm about the only active crew member...XP
Maybe a member list clean-out would be good...How'd you decide?

The other mods were hesitant to do it because they received flack for it in the past. So I decided to take it upon myself. lol Didn't turn out that bad, actually, just keep in mind that there needs to be an active Vice Cap around.
Anyway, I just figured, "Why am I a member of the guilds I'm in? To discuss things about what I like with other fans." If other members don't look like they hold the same mindset, they're being dead weight. It was pointless for them to join the guild. And I target the ones with just 0-9 posts. I'm thinking of upping that standard to 0-19 next year...

Okay, thanks. I'll take a look into how much that would help my guild.
The only problem is that vice captain... XP
I will ask: What if someone had just joined and hadn't gotten around to posting yet? XP
