Monty listened attentively and nodded. So there was some things that had to be considered before approaching it completely because using blood could have been a requirement but that was out of the window. No, there were other possibilities that he could afford and help Kyoshi make the greatest weapons ever. "Alright....Do you think bringing in other forms of....power would be alright or would that not be accepted? Will Dusk's advisors be a threat for such a weapon being created?" That last one was a concern given that Monty didn't want some rogue politician to take those weapons and assassinate the Queen and his buddy then take over and mess up the balance. Yes, Monty was supersititious.

Kalore chuckled softly, shaking his head. “The advisors won’t be a problem, Monty. They have enough power as is and if they want to do something different then there’s no reason for them to assassinate anyone. It would be too well known and we have too many eyes around for that to go without them being paranoid about being killed themselves. As for other powers?” Kalore thought more on that one. That was a bit harder to explain. “If you mean other people to come into Ellwood to help… I don’t recommend it. I know that we’re getting kinder with outsiders but… it’s still a risky thing to do. But, to get help isn’t bad at all. There are some areas where others are fine to be just… as I said, if you want to work on it in Ellwood, I don’t recommend it.” The elves were getting better with other people coming in, but that didn’t mean that they really liked it all that well.

The wheels in Monty's head were turning with so many possiblities to do about making these weapons. Yet the demon shook his head. "No Kalore, I speak of things that can't touch this side of the world and no doubt yours. I'm speaking about things holy and unholy." If it was acceptable for Kyoshi to be who he is among the elves, if they didn't already know he was a strong if not one of the few powerful and elder seraphs that live on this earth, then it would be possible for Kyoshi to assist in making those weapon beneficial for them, the worst nightmare against their enemies but also a useless tool should anyone else aside from the gunners to use. Monty had ideas and he was going to test it out before anyone else knew about it. Except for Kyoshi since it was him that was needed.

Curiosity sparked on the other’s eyes as he moved from the counter to lean on Monty, glancing up at him. “What do you mean?” Just what was it that Monty had planned? Kalore knew that there were things that the demons and angels could do that most of them could only dream of, but that never stopped his curiosity. Actually, Kalore didn’t know of much to stop his curiosity. Blinking a bit, he leaned up and kissed his cheek. “I’m curious on what it is that you have planned. I see the wheels turning behind your eyes.” It was always fun to watch someone with an idea… especially Monty. His ‘thinking face’ was actually a bit cute. Not that he’d ever tell him that, of course.

Blinking at Kalore, the demon raised a brow slowly and then wrapped his arms around the elf's body to trap him against his larger frame. "Hmmm I can't tell you what I mean until I tell Kyoshi first, elf." Monty kissed Kalore's nose lightly with a smirk. "However there is one thing I can share with you and that's me taking you to bed for a small reprieve before you go back to work." Which was another thing that was on his mind but mainly those ideas about using holy and unholy means in a safe environment to make the weapons beneficial to them and useless to others.

Kalore twitched as he was brought closer to the other. “You won’t tell me?” He wanted the other to tell him what it was that he had figured out. Sure, Monty probably hadn’t completely figured it out quite yet, but that didn’t mean that Kalore didn’t want to know. In fact, he continued to pout before leaning closer against him, liking that Monty trapped him against his larger frame. Out of everything else in the world, Kalore couldn’t think of what he preferred being trapped between. A small smile appeared on his lips before he laughed at Monty’s words. “Well then… if that’s what you want to do then let’s get to it… I think I need a break… Now,” He leaned close to him, nuzzling his neck. “What kind of break do you have in mind?”

Monty kissed Kalore’s nose lightly, smirking as he walked them out of the kitchen towards the hallway where his bedroom was. “I was thinking the kind that makes you scream and all adorably cuddly afterwards.” The demon wanted to take all the work off the elf’s mind for a just alittle bit, perhaps a few hours actually, and then he can set him back into his room to finish up. “What do you say Kalore?” The work for the weapons could wait a while…

A laugh went through the other as he shook his head, grinning some. “You wanna make me scream then make me cuddly?” He laughed, shaking his head some. “I don’t get all cuddly, damnitt, but I will admit that you’re able to make me scream.” Kalore denied his cuteness, but it would be a miracle if the man ever didn’t deny it. Instead, however, his arms wrapped tightly around him, grinning more before winking. “Let’s go ahead and go to bed… then we’ll see if we want to have anything to do with work or not.” Kalore had a feeling that he wasn’t going to get back to his work for a while. Then again, that wasn’t a problem for him at all.

Monty picked Kalore up and took him to the bedroom. Entering he walked straight to the comfy bed and layed Kalore down as if he was the most precious things in the world. Perhaps he was and the demon was too slow, too stupid to realize that. Monty removed his shirt and smirked at the elf that he suddenly leaned over. “Work? What work? I have no idea what this word means…” Oh yes, the demon didn’t know what work was or what he was going to do afterwards. All that mattered was Kalore, in his bed without clothes and taking him to the stars. Perhaps now would be a good a time as any for a time skip.

One Month Later

Everything was ready. The castle was buzzing with excitement as people from the neighboring lands came to watch the Queen of the Elves get married to the first non-elf King of their time. Whites, blacks, silvers, and violets littered the area to symbolize the two lovers, in silken streamers and wisps of what had to be magic flitting around overhead. Kalore had outdone himself in the decorations, having just the right flowers, some coming in shades unknown in possibility, while others were simple yet elegant enough to draw even a male’s eye. He had even had an area set up between the ceremony where things would be viewed by the public via television screens. Rave had made it possible to do so, but still they kept to the standard rule. Only a handful of people could actually view the ceremony from each land.

Some didn’t like this, but at least the bodyguards were allowed as well. Two people, maximum, could view from each land, saving those that the bride and groom allowed, and two guards, at maximum, were allowed for each group. Many complaints arose from this, but Rave never faltered, never wavered. This was the way of their people and it was what would remain. Dusk stood by him, never wavering either. Soon enough, the people allowed it and soon came around. Now, however, the ceremony was ready to start as the guests filed in. For those that weren’t to be in the ceremony, Kalore had set up a nice dining area for them, currently playing host as he got them all there and around. He continued to smile, getting a nod from Rave as the man went to see how the wedding party group were doing.

He first came to the door that hosted the bridesmaids and groomsmen, knocking softly before walking in, coming to the double hallway. Sighing softly, glancing in a mirror, he noticed that Kalore truly had outdone himself in all of this. The tux looked perfect on him, highlighting the beauty that even he had to look at as his hair was pulled back. A smile should have come upon his lips but he just couldn’t do it. Since everything that had happened he didn’t look upset as much but he hadn’t looked happy or smiled or anything of the sort since… No, it didn’t matter. Now it didn’t matter at all.

“Are we ready?” His voice carried through the halls to either side as a giggle came to him. “We’re almost ready! Hold up!” Alice. The blue and blonde haired girl turned and looked at Nyx, nodding in approval. “You look good. Kit, you got everything set up?” The blonde nodded, finished and dressed. “Yup.” The dresses were simple, but flattering on all of them. With the colors of black and purple high lighting them wonderfully, Kalore had done well yet again. He had changed the color from the greens that he had used, having changed his plans countless times while working on Dusk’s own dress. It now had an almost fairy tale look to it, the heels taller on Kit and Alice then they were on Nyx, but… still. They all looked wonderful.

Rave didn’t wait up as he called down the other hall, “Talon… Ziggy… We need to go check on Kyoshi.” A groan came from the hall as the two men walked out. In white tuxes, all three of them looked nearly angelic. Even Rave found the humor in it as they walked out, not waiting for the girls. They knew to go see Dusk and make sure she was ready. Not that Rave was too concerned about her being dressed. No, he was just concerned that she would run.

The three made their way to the groom’s room, Rave knocking gently on it. “Kyoshi, are you almost ready?”

This was it. This was the day that Kyoshi and Dusk were going to be married. Could anyone believe it?! These two stubborn, loud and insane people getting married in the most sacred of ways! Kyoshi looked glorious in his tuxedo, that he had to admit felt comfortable like a glove. The black against him went well with his lightly tanned skin he earned from his days outside with his men who were becoming like brothers to him with his silver hair still unruly but it added personality and somehow made him look like a dream. A bada** dream.

Standing in front of the mirror the seraph stared at himself. He was actually going to do it. There was a large part of him that thought all of this was surreal and a ongoing dream because no one ever saw Kyo as the marrying type. Yet here was. Then there was Dusk. Heaven above, he knew that Dusk deserve someone so much better but he loved her. He always would, in all the bad and the good and….Wait he was getting ahead of himself.

Clearing his throat, he nodded to himself to make sure that everything looked neat. Going to the door he opened it and smiles slightly at the three men that were going to be his best men. Kyoshi couldn’t believe that he actually had these three men, the ones he didn’t get along with in the beginning but has come a long way in seeing them as friends . He smiled slightly. “Tell me that I’m crazy for doing this.” Was he hinting that he wanted out now? Hell no. Dusk was going to marry him and no one else and if the world didn’t like it then he could just make hell break loose again to get them to behave. That’s what Monty offered to do anyways.

afichicx02: Nyx smiled at the other bridesmaids, beaming in her lovely dress. Leaning down, she fixed her son’s little tux, making sure that his hair was perfect as he grumbled at being fussed over. The amazon rolled her eyes. “If you don’t look handsome….You might hurt Dusk’s feelings.” Gabe eyes went wide and he held still, puffing up his chest to look handsome. Grinning she kissed his cheek. “That’s my boy.” Standing up, she looked at the other women. “Well…Let’s get this thing rolling.”
PostPosted: Sun Nov 13, 2011 3:11 pm

The men smiled a bit at him, all but Rave nodding in agreement that he was crazy for doing this. “Well… you’re crazy but I don’t know if this is the cause of it.” Talon smirked at the other as Ziggy and Rave walked in, the pyro stopping to look at the other. Out of everyone there, the two of them probably had the biggest issues. Rave and Ziggy weren’t ever romantically involved with Dusk… Talon had been. As he looked the other man over, he nodded slightly. “But… I guess some craziness is a good thing, eh?” Ziggy chuckled as well, leaning against a wall to look around. Neither of them really knew what to make of all of this. Their Dusk… getting married? It was surreal, to say the least.

Rave sighed softly, though, before shaking his head. “The guests have nearly all arrived. We have those from the outer lands and those from far off… I do not believe that I have personally met them all, but most are being seated as we speak. When you are ready, I will send for Kitanasa to see if Dusk is ready as well. Then… we may begin.” He watched Kyoshi but there was just the smallest smile in his eyes. “You are not crazy for doing such a thing, Kyoshi… just… oddly daring.” Talon and Ziggy laughed. “Agreed.”

Kit and Alice smiled at the boy that belonged to Nyx. “He’s completely adorable, Nyx.” “Adorable?” Alice raised a brow as she chuckled, kneeling down beside him. “He’s handsome, not adorable.” She winked at him. “Now, we have to go check up on the bride… do you want to go look at more dresses or go play with Ali?” She raised a brow before glancing over at Nyx. “If you don’t mind, of course. She’s playing over with some of the other children… but it seemed like these two got along last time…” Ali was getting better at not reading into people’s emotions too much, or at least controlling it a little bit. After everything that had happened, it was no surprise that the child would work harder on it.

Nyx grinned with a nod. “Yeah…My little man right here would enjoy playing with others if he’s allowed.” She touched Gabe’s cheek lovely and completely at ease with these elven beauties, who she has to admit are just better than Victoria Secret models through and through. “Though..He is adorable…A mix of adorable meets handsome.” The amazon was seriously going to get a ear full from her son when they got home later. Gabe grumbled softly but smiled widely at the offer to play with the other children, especially Ali. “Can I really play with Ali?” He started to bubble up with child like excitement.

Kyoshi nodded and smiled at the three men. “I just wanted to say thank you for being my groomsmen…I…I’m nervous as hell and I hope that Dusk is ready for this.” He was having the wedding jitters and hoped to the heavens that Dusk didn’t change her mind. Sighing deeply and straightening his shoulders, Kyoshi looked confident and ready to be leg shackled to a beautiful but stubborn woman for as long as they live. “Alright….I’m ready….” Then again…Maybe he should get semi drunk to be able to do this….No, that’s not a good idea.

At the front where the wedding guests were arriving to be greeted and then seated for the ceremony, Monty was there with Kalore. He wanted to be there to at least help since sitting around with elves would possible tempt him to do something…demonish. So, he offered to be of some help, even if he looked like a well dressed body guard at Kalore’s side.

It wasn’t until the sight of red hair similar to his own came in view, raising a brow. Nova came in an elegant fae gown with jewels adoring her hair and neck, with her hand wrapped around the King of Fae’s arm wearing gold and white that was opposite of her fiancée. Titan, King of the Fae, was tall and medium built man with long white-blonde hair that was loosely braided with its own jewelry ornaments. He wore a silver and white outfit that matched his silver eyes as he came up to the demon and the blonde elf. Bowing neatly, he allowed his future queen to hug her brother. Behind them was two personal guards. One was tall and the other short. They wore a black outfit that concealed their faces except for the eyes, one set was a dark brown while the other was a vivid blue. On the outfits was the crest of the Fae to let them know who they belonged too.

Nova smiled and took her side at Titan watching both Kalore and Monty. “I’m so excited about this.” Leaning closer and lowering her voices, especially towards Kalore she smiled widely. “I’m so happy that you and my brother are together again. You look like such a nice couple…If he’s being mean to you, let me know…” Winking, she earned an amused but scolding look at his future wife. “My dear..This is not the time for such things.” Titan’s voice was clear and smooth, a true voice of a king. “I hope you don’t mind our personal guards. They will stay clear of all.” He said with a friendly expression.

Yet Monty didn’t react to his sister or her words as he was watching the short guard that stood there, behind Nova. Tilting his head slightly to the side, he noticed that those eyes looked familiar. It was also odd for the Fae to be with one tall and short guard. They generally liked to match so this was just…off…

Alice laughed as she nodded, standing up so that she could help the other out of the room, smiling brightly. “Of course you can play with Ali! She’s with the other children. Kit, you and Nyx go to Dusk and make sure she didn’t run out on us. I’ll take Gabe out so that he can see the kids.” She smiled brightly at the woman before them. “And the children are being watched carefully by the nannies. We’ll get him and Ali when the ceremony starts.” Alice continued to smile as they walked out, softly speaking to Gabe to make sure that he didn’t get his outfit dirty. While she left, Kit smiled and turned to Nyx, beginning to walk out. “Ready then? I think I’ll be surprised if we find Dusk dressed and sober…”

A grin spread across the blue haired man and the redhead, the two soon bringing something out of their pocket that caused Rave to groan. “Oh lay off, Rave… it’s not anything big…” Ziggy offered the small drink to the other, a small, half empty flask. “Believe it or not, this is something normal… It’s not enough to even get a person tipsy…” “But it’s damn good stuff that’s going to calm you down a bit… Plus, were not leaving here until we get the signal that Dusk is actually ready.” Ziggy had to laugh at Talon’s words. “I bet you twenty that she’s drunk…” Rave rolled his eyes. “I highly doubt this… Have either of you seen Dusk drunk?” The boys blinked. “Now that you mention it…” But that didn’t matter. For now, they had time to kill and as they spoke and just calmed themselves down for the moment to come, Dusk was indeed… drinking.

She wasn’t in her dress, but she at least was halfway there. With a bottle in hand, sipping at it furiously, she continued to pace and bite her lip. The door was locked and bolted, the window open for her to look out and wish she could just run out, screaming, but… she was surprisingly stable for someone that had already had too much to drink. One bottle rested by the door, the other in her hand as the veil and dress and gloves and shoes were on the stand while she wore the slip, the underdress only some of the makeup. Nerves were killing her as Dusk whispered to herself, trying to make sense of all of this. She was going to get married… She wouldn’t regret it, really, because she loved Kyoshi more than she loved thieving, but that didn’t make it any easier. Her, of all people out there, married? It didn’t make sense…

The window was looking even nicer.

Kalore smiled at Nova, laughing some at her words. “I think I can handle it… but thanks.” He smiled before giving a small bow to the king. “Welcome, sir, and we’re thankful for you to be here. Your guards may stay with you during the ceremony but we do ask that they sit down either behind you or beside you or wherever you want them to be. You’ll find that most came with guards.” He looked amused before his eyes slid to the guards, his eyes locking with the eyes that he knew looked… familiar. A small frown appeared on his face but it was wiped off with another smile. “We have a place set up for you, sir, madame. It’s marked with your symbol.” Each guest had their own royal symbol that they lived from. Kalore had tracked all of them down and placed them around and set them down as markers. It had worked so far. “Unless you wish for an escort?” It surprised Kalore how many had asked for that…

Smiling widely, the amazon waved at Gabe who followed Alice willingly and blinked up at her cutely, asking if the kids will like another to join them as Nyx went with Kit. “Hopefully but I’m getting the feeling that hoping is going to be wasted and that she is drinking.” Perhaps she was right. After all if she was getting married, which will never happen to her, she would be drinking until she couldn’t see straight. It would be funny but…It would be funny.

Kyoshi blinked and drowned down the half drink that was in the flask gratefully. It wasn’t like hard liquor but it was starting to calm him. Maybe he should drink more. Blinking some he smiled friendly at Talon and Ziggy knowing that Rave would just tell him no. “Could I have like a tall glass of this with some ice? I think…I think I’m going to need it with all those royals staring at him.” That and because he was worried that Dusk would leave him at the alter, something he wanted to at least be tipsy enough to work with it.

Nova chuckled and shook her head, touching Kalore’s hand lightly, in a sister like manner. “Oh no Kalore. I think my king and I are capable of escorting ourselves to our seats. No, we can manage just fine.” She said with a happy smile that was as bright as the sun. Titan nodded and bowed to Kalore. “We thank you for allowing us to attend.” Looking at Monty he bowed his head respectfully and motioned for Nova to come with him. Following her future husband, the woman turned her head around to look at the two guards, a bit of mischief in her eyes but that was hidden from the others. “Come along Oberon and Gam. You must sit with us.”

The short one’s eyes locked with Kalore’s green ones but otherwise didn’t registered nothing in them. They were emotionless like the vivid blue ones next to her. Both stood straighter and followed their lieges to their seats that were marked. Monty having stood stiff and silent, staring at the short one. Slowly a smile formed but it was tiny,, tiny, almost like a ghost. “Son of a b*tch.” He muttered.
