saint dreya maenad nuri I get to rejoin the traditional M-F workforce! Yay! I've been doing a flex-shift at work, and they decided that it worked well to have more people staying later. So they decided to do a new bid for changing shifts. Since I was flexing, I have to bid or revert to starting at stupid o-thirty. But since I was flexing, I'm given priority. I'm aiming for a 7 am -3:15 shift, which would give me time to do doctors appointments in the afternoon. But all the shifts are monday through friday and 8 hours. I might lose my 3 day weekends, but I get my Saturdays back! That is something even enjoying 3 day weekends, it makes the days go by faster when you have 8 hour days instead of 10. Totally. I'm aiming for the 7-3:15 shift, which would still get me out earlier. It's a prime shift though, so it's not a garuntee.

I used to live in ED. Now it just makes me want to shoot someone in the face. I think I need to stay away a bit longer for my own sanity and lack of homicide and/or suicide.

$300.00 for a tea pot!?!? You have got to be kidding me. Who would spend that much on a kettel? Who has that kind of money?

saint dreya eek I think I just died... Timer plus temperature control? *drools* =D What more could you want? *waits for Tea to chime in with a witty though practical suggestion* Shearaha $300.00 for a tea pot!?!? You have got to be kidding me. Who would spend that much on a kettel? Who has that kind of money? The price is a little ridiculous, but I'm sure you could do worse. I mean, an ounce of quality saffron is anywhere from $275 to 375$ American. It's all in the value you place on it and where your priorities are.

And while part of me says "Get real Kitty, you know the ED was NEVER good," another part is shouting "I WANT MY OLD ED BACK! crying " Also, hi Puppy. heart

The blogging world is a lot like the M&R.
Lots of idiots, a reasonably dedicated group of intelligent folk and a mess of readers who mostly lurk.
Big difference, it's a lot harder to respond to things because you have to find the blog post first. XD

Pretty. Shearaha $300.00 for a tea pot!?!? Kettle. Tea pots are not what you heat your water in. Tea kettles are, then you add the hot water and tea into a pot. Quote: Who would spend that much on a kettel? ninja saint dreya eek I think I just died... Timer plus temperature control? *drools* The draw back being that the process of heating water for the perfect cup is not a matter of simply reaching temp. Collowrath I mean, an ounce of quality saffron is anywhere from $275 to 375$ American. Good gods man. Where the hell are you buying your saffron? Let me know so I can come over and undercut them.

I know my husband gets some very good safron for less then that. @TeaDidikai: Sorry didn't know the difference. I'm not fond of most hot drinks. The exception being the one that lets me breath when my walking pnomia acts up.

I was just making a correction. That said, some tea pots are works of art and sell for thousands of dollars. wink
