Blinking at the man, Kalore watched him. “but… I’m almost done with the dress.” He looked confused but then stepped out of the room as Monty tried to look in. A small smile was on his lips as he shut the door, shaking his head at him, tsking softly. “No looking in…” He continued to smile before showing him his finger. “I was working on the tool under the dress. The knock surprised me a bit.” Another smile and he shrugged, tilting his head to the side. “What would you like to do then?” He really did need to get to work now but that didn’t matter, really. He also did need a break… right?

Scowling a bit the demon took Kalore's hand and tugged him gently behind him away from the work room and to the living room. "I'm ordering you to sit down there and wait for a drink and something small to eat. I'm also ordering you to stretch out your limbs from working so damn long." The tone Monty had said that his orders weren't to be argued over...None at all as he walked off to the kitchen to whip something up quickly. Anything for his hardworking elf.

Kalore twitched, sitting down and glaring some at the other. “Order?” No one ordered him around! But then again, it wasn’t like this was with Eri or any of those assholes back at the club. Still, he didn’t want anything to deal with as he sighed softly, beginning to stand up again. He followed the other, glowering. “What exactly are you doing?” The elf raised a brow, soon sitting on the counter. It wasn’t like people expected him to completely obey any order anyway.

The demon twitched. When Monty gave a command he expected it to be obeyed no matter who and what they were. Obviously Kalore didn't know that. Or he did but didn't give two rats rears about it and did as he pleased. It wasn't like Monty was truly controlling so he wasn't going to bite the elf's head off. "I'm trying to make you something and hoping that you would relax and unwind before going back to work.....I'm giving you until you finish whatever you were working on and your coming to bed." Notice that Monty didn't say coming to bed to sleep, just coming to bed.

And Kalore noticed. Looking amused, the man leaned back against the counter, watching as Monty twitched. Did he really expect him to obey him? The blonde didn’t enjoy obeying anyone save for some situations. If he wanted to forget something, if he wanted to be lost in something, then he enjoyed obeying but only in some circumstances. If pain was what was happening either way, then he’d obey. But now wasn’t the time to think of that as he tilted his head to the side. “And what happens after I finish the dress and we go to bed, hmm?” He moved closer to him, seeing what the other was making. At least he was eating something… well, if he got to eat it. Kalore did tend to distract the redhead without always meaning to.

Monty smirked a bit, making a healthy salad for Kalore that was both refreshing and filling. "I think a bit of play time with me is in order for your hard work and then some shut eye. After all I don't want you making mistakes on your masterpieces." He drawled and offered the elf the salad. "I have a few dressings in the fridge and I didn't know which you would like, so you can see them yourself if you want." The demon wanted to make sure that Kalore ate because he did feel responsible for putting Kalore through hell.

Kalore took the salad, smiling a bit at him. “Thanks.” He leaned down as he kisses the other’s cheek, laughing softly before going to the fridge. It took him only a moment to find a raspberry almond vinaigrette. The best thing there. He smiled as he put some on his salad, glancing up at the other with a few blinks. “Play? Well, I guess that some playtime wouldn’t be a bad idea…” The blonde smiled as he shook his head, kissing his cheek again as he sat on the counter to eat his food, cross-legged and nibbling on the salad. “You’re eating something too, right?” Kalore would make something for the demon, of course, but… that just didn’t work out well when he made food.

Monty blinked and shook his head. "I'm not really hungry." Which he really wasn't but if the elf was going to make him eat he might as well eat some of the salad that was there. "Are you almost finished with the outfits and the preparations for the wedding?" He asked, curious on how much Kalore got done.

"You need to eat something if you're making me eat something." Kalore glowered for a moment before offering it to the man, smiling slightly. How much work had he gotten done? A lot more than most would think that he'd be able to. "I have all of the outfits done save for the flower girl outfit and the rest of the bride's dress. I need to get the measurements for Ali and for whoever it is that we're having for a ring bearer." He shrugged some, taking another bite of his salad. "And then I've got the designs for the layout of the place for the wedding and reception done. It'll be short for both so I'm not too concerned. What all did you do?"

Blinking some the demon shook his head and showed that he was going to have some of his own and tilted his head to the side. "I think Nyx's son is going to be the ring bearer." Monty said with a shrug then munched on a bit of his food. "I spoke with Kyoshi, Hibachi and Selik and started to get some ground work on those weapons and we might have figured out what works best to reduce the sound of the shot being fired to non-existant. But the making of it might need to prove the calculations correct. Otherwise that gunner squad will have to cease to exist."

Kalore smiled, nibbling on his food before thinking of what Monty said. "Do you all still want me to be the one to test them?" He had more sensitive ears than most of the elves that were in the squad being used. The blonde would be able to tell if things needed to be fixed and just how much quieter it would need to be.He listened before leaning back some, tilting his head back to the side. "I'm not totally sure on that... I mean... I'm sure you guys can come up with something. You just might not get it on the first shot." Oh, the punniness of that. "I know you guys will figure it out eventually, though."

Monty nodded. "I think having you help us out for the actual shooting tests would be good. Especially since it would really give us a good idea of the level of sensitivity elves are capable of having." Meaning that they wanted to make the worlds first silent gun ever. It would be something that only the elves in the royal house can know about because if those ideas got into the wrong hands, just imagine the sort of hell that can break lose. "Hopefully we can create something productive and helpful."

"If this works, you'll have something that's pretty amazing." He bit his lip softly, however, as he thought about it some more. "But, we're going to have to be really careful. If it gets to the point that even the elves can't hear it then if it's in the wrong hands..." All hell would break loose. For now, though, that didn't matter too much. He smiled a bit at the other as he finished his salad, going to wash the bowl. 'Just test it yourselves at first and once you think it's quiet enough, then you should get me. Otherwise you'll end up screwing with my hearing." And he couldn't risk that. Amazingly, Kalore did have a job that he often did... though most didn't seem to realize this. Stereotypical assholes...

The demon nodded having thought about that. "For now let us try to create it and then I'll worry about how to make sure it doesn't get into the hands of anyone else other than the members of that squad." Monty stood there chewing on his food as he listened to Kalore and then an idea hit him. Well it wasn't something that he would want to do but it was worth a shot to ask Kalore a few questions. "Is there any form of magic, like blood magic, that elves can withstand or is that something completely out of your range to abilities to do? Would magic in any form, be it good or bad have a negative affect on elves long term?"
The idea Monty had was having the weapon created with the element of magic, well not really magic but powers from a demon or even an angel. If they could put a tracker in on it to where the handler of that specific weapon could only use it with the essence of that shooter, then maybe there would be a good chance of keeping that weapon from falling into the wrong hands. Or falling into anyone's hand that thought they could use it for malicious purposes that could put blame on Kyoshi or anyone. Monty smirked at being a genius.

Kalore watched the demon with curiosity in his eyes, wondering what it was that he had wanted to know. It took him a moment but he soon turned around, leaning against the counter. "If you think of elves as a whole... there are things that we can do. I don't believe that there is a magic that at least one race of elf can't do. Blood magic is... tricky and typically banned, at least our version of it, but it doesn't really do any damage to us just as what it is." He thought about what did damage them, though. "We can do pretty much anything, really, at least those that deal with stuff like magic and all that. we don't like fire... most of us live in areas that are pretty flammable looking so we're cautious. But really... a presence of magic doesn't hurt us. I'm sure some it might but... I dunno."
