Combining sandbox plus actually having to move your hands to cast could have either fantastic or disastrous results. Unfortunately, the movie licensing means that they'll probably sacrifice quality to get the cash they need for the licensing, riding on the hopes that there will be enough of a fanbase to compensate for the loss of buyers from subpar reviews like those of the previous HP games.

I can't comment on the actual quality of those games because I don't play crap.

The problem with most of the bad games on the Wii has to do with developers not testing the controls thoroughly enough. Red Steel, Sonic, Far Cry, etc. all are getting bad reviews because the controls don't work that well. However, on the games where they do work, it's fantastic. The bad games would probably be good if they were on a different console (except Red Steel which doesn't make sense on any other console) but they suck on the Wii. Also, Prince of Persia remake is censored. No blood or decapitations. I guess no blood makes sense, because the things are made of sand, but no decapitations?

I have a feeling Resident Evil 4 will be censored too. They'll probably make it so the chainsaw guys don't decapitate you when they one-hit kill you.

Anyway, this is probably why they're working so hard and so much longer on Metroid Prime 3. Samus/The player does a lot of crap with her/his hands in the trailer, and they probably want to make it as interactive as possible without making it clunky and unresponsive. The possibility of online multiplayer in that game makes me giddy with anticipation.

Also: Soloist and I (and anyone in the guild with a wii) should trade friend codes.

I've got the RP written up, finally. The hardest part was the title. I decided to name it "Collide" for reasons that should become evident through the story. I'll post it up tomorrow.

I know, but...dear god. What sense does it make for Jump and Slide to be the SAME BUTTON?!

So damn hard to kill enemies when, instead of jumping, you slide towards them ><
