The Long Halloween, aka the best Batman graphic novel.
It details the most widely accepted Two-Face origin story, centered around a holiday themed killer (aptly named Holiday), who murders people connected to the Falcone crime family on certain holidays, while Batman, Jim Gordon and Harvey Dent attempt to work within the law to arrest Carmine "The Roman" Falcone.
I pulled Gilda from TLH because otherwise, she's just Harvey's boring wife that makes near-constant appeals to his 'good' side.
In TLH, she's a serial killer capable of handling a five-man Irish hit squad with just a .22 while fooling Batman, Jim Gordon and even the Riddler. The best part? Her motive is being baby crazy. she's so cool *.*

Violet Meira Omigod, I'm so glad you're not one of those girls that HATES that sort of drama, because I love girl fights. So much. And... Gilda knows of Ivy in a general sense. You know how everyone in Gotham knows what Ivy does and how she's a crazy plant lady? Gilda knows of her like that. She doesn't know about Ivy and Harvey's stuff. I CAN'T WAIT TIL THIS NEW ARC STARTS, HURRY. Are you kidding?! People don't get to see that side of Ivy enough! She's all about girl power, but at the end of the day she's a vengeful gal as well as a distrustful one. Plus,l love a livid Ivy. biggrin

I really can't wait for the new arc.

It's going to be epic.
Picking up Gilda for this roleplay just keeps seeming like it was my best idea ever.

I also have no idea what Gilda is like when she's angry, I assume she just gets depressed and then grabs a gun. Obviously not in a suicidal way.
So... that will be fun trying to dig through Gilda's head to decide what sort of angry/how angry she gets.
At least I have some wiggle room. xD

I can't wait for Ivy to get shot. I love her interesting list of battle wounds and almost deaths.
I also can't wait for the drama this is going to bring Harvey.

There are many comics I still have to read. The Long Halloween is one of them. I also still need to read Child of Dreams (Batman.)

I read the first 15 pages or so, then I had to leave. From what I read, it was very interesting. I also enjoyed Crimson Mist, a what-if story that takes place after Batman vs. Dracula. Batman is a vampire...

Because I can't imagine Ivy not getting in a few good hits of her own. Just because Gilda has a gun doesn't mean she wins.

Psht, Harvey can front all he wants. If he thought Gilda succeeded in killing Ivy he'd flip. He's not ready for her to die yet, that's why he hasn't killed her.

I'd think Ivy would be pretty much immune to bullets. Assuming she's more plant than woman now.
I say this because I was reading about the Floronic Man yesterday, and he's immune to bullets. There was even a quote. "You can't kill a vegetable by shooting it in the head."

Actually, it seems more likely that Ivy would come out on top because physically, Gilda's pretty weak... she's sort of small and pretty and has no real muscle mass or hand-to-hand combat ability. A gun is really all she has, though she is pretty smart, good at acting, and good at research. So if Ivy wasn't affected by bullets, Gilda would have very few advantages.
[I think if Harvey flipped about a dead Ivy, Gilda would dissolve into a pile of pathetic mush and cry. xD Wait, that isn't funny...]
I can't wait for cat fights. x3
the new arc needs to start sooooon.

Gilda coming in on Halloween is so perfect. I have to tweak my intro post. xD
