Monty grabbed a cart and frowned slightly. "Then you want to live in separate homes until this relationship is secured?" He asked, thinking that the elf was okay with living with him given that Kalore did spend alot of time with him. Hell, for a moment Monty did think that Kalore was living with him when they were together rather than in separate places. "If you don't want to then that's fine." Walking ahead of the elf, the demon went to the fruits and veggies to grab a bunch of everything he liked and a bunch of fruits, especially strawberries for Kalore.

“That’s not what I meant!” Kalore blinked, following him before getting even more strawberries, watching him for a moment. “It’s just... I didn’t expect it.” He smiled at him. “I... I’d like to live with you, actually. I almost already am... so it’d be nice.” Could he actually transfer over the clothes that he needed? Kalore wouldn’t get rid of his house, but he might just keep it and his family’s home for a while... then he’d be able to stay with Monty and then that’d be fine. Right? He hoped so... “Like I said, it just um... it surprised me. I didn’t think that you wanted to.” There hadn’t been an incident saying that he didn’t, but, still, it surprised him. It was a nice surprise, though.

Nodding, he turned to look at the elf and leaned slightly close so that only Kalore could here him and not the other patrons of the store. "I always thought you lived with me, with or without clothes until you got them. Given that you had spent more time with me than in your home that was what I thought happened."
Monty shrugged slightly and leaned back. "It's up to you if you want to live with me or not. But...." The demon for once looked uncertain as he was revealing a deeper part of himself than he ever had before. "I would prefer it if you stayed with me. In the apartment first and when I go look at the house and make sure everything is as it should be I'll bring you there." He said, reaching out to touch the elf's cheek. "But it's your choice."

Surprise remained on his face as Monty leaned forward, explaining what he wanted as a small smile appeared on his lips. “I... I’d like to live with you, actually.” He continued to smile at the other. It would be interesting, staying with the other with full intent of living with him. “I... I can now actually keep some of my stuff with you? But... But I keep my other home, right?” Kalore tilted his head to the side. He wasn’t moving in to where he would have nowhere to go later on... and it wasn’t like he would sell his home. It had too many great things in it.

The demon almost looked insulted that Kalore would ask if he would keep his other home. "Kalore, keep your houses and your job and everything you desire. Living with someone doesn't mean you give up everything you have. If anything I would rather you keep your houses and job in case we fight and you need some place to cool down. You can bring new clothes to the apartment if you want to not move so much things and from there I will make sure you have everything you need."
With that the demon turned around and went for the meat aisle and started to make his rounds. "Besides, I'm not asking you to devote yourself to me. I want a relationship where we each have our own independence to bring together into a partnership." Monty was looking thoughtful and sounding very wise from his normal gruff nature.

Kalore laughed, nodding at the other as he walked beside him, humming happily as the other spoke. He agreed with everything that was being said and he couldn’t help but smile even more as the other spoke about just what it was that he wanted done. To keep them together, but still offer refuge for when they fought. Kalore was thankful that Monty expected them to fight because he did as well. For now, they were playing nice and caring and sweet, but sometimes things happened that shattered all of that and it was good to have a refuge. “Alright. I’ll bring over some clothes and then we’ll figure out what all I need if I want to bring more of my stuff over.”
He continued to smile as occasionally his basket would be filled with something either sweet or herbal, the man still humming every so often. This was strange... a relationship where he actually lived with someone without having to give up everything else? Kalore hadn’t bee in one of those...

Monty was finished with his shopping, having gathered alot of things that was filling to the top of the cart and nodded. "Of course. When you have a chance you can get your things for the apartment and perhaps when you get used to the idea of this then you can bring more." He didn't want the elf to be uncertain about this given that maybe Kalore never entered a relationship where you didn't have to give up what was yours in order to be with someone. The demon was at the check out, letting the cashier ring them up, even grabbing Kalore's basket to add to the rest of the food.

Kalore nodded smiling just a bit before he glanced back over at the man. “I’ll do that...” Only a few outfits for right now. He had noticed that when he began to spend more time at Monty’s place, he tended to forget to bring things over. Now he’d have things for when he did forget. That would be good. But when the other took his basket he blinked, tilting his head to the side. “A-alright...” Shrugging, he went into his wallet, prepared to pay for what he wanted. Monty didn’t have to pay for things that he wanted.

Monty looked at Kalore and growled sharply at him, gaining a few curious looks from the people around them. "Put that away." The demon took out his card and it was charged for everything. Given that the demon had.....ALOT of money, he didn't care any which way to spend it on a bunch of food and will still have money to live off until the end of time. "Just grab a few bags and go to the car, it's open." Of course Monty was there so how could the car be open right?

The elf jumped, blinking at him. “Don’t you growl at me...” He blinked more before raising a brow. “You left your car unlocked?” With the kind of car that Monty had, Kalore doubted that he’d do such a thing. If there was one thing that he had noticed, Monty loved his cars. And Kalore did indeed know that he had more than one. “And I’m paying you back for the food.” He took most of the bags, sticking his tongue out before heading over to the car, curious on if it was really unlocked. Surely not.

Monty growled again at Kalore, getting the rest of the bags and heading over to the car. There was a smirk playing on his lips as he followed the elf out of the store towards his car. Of course he left his car open, only because he could use his ability to keep it locked or unlocked when he wished it. But Kalore didn't know about that and he might never know about it. Well....If things progressed between them then yes but right now, nope. "Open the trunk Kalore."

He looked at the other, strange. “I’m confused...” Was something going to jump out at him? Kalore didn’t know about any of Monty’s abilities, didn’t really know much of anything about the other except that he was a demon, he could survive a lot of hits, and that they made one hell of a battle when they really wanted to go at it. Other than that, Kalore understood that there wasn’t much about one another that they knew. However, he reached over, opening the trunk with caution. It was unlocked?

There was nothing in the trunk that would jump out at Kalore, nor was it a trap of any sort. All Monty wanted to prove was that it was indeed open and that he didn't lie about that. Standing next to Kalore with the cart behind them, he waited, watching the elf. "Well? We need to get going elf and you afraid to open the trunk of the car isn't helping at all." There was humor in his voice as he said that.

Opening the trunk, Kalore did feel a little stupid but he couldn’t help but be wary of all this. Glancing over at the other, he slowly nodded before putting some of the food in the trunk. “I don’t get it... You’re parking in a no parking zone because you don’t want people to scratch your car. That seems like you’re pretty protective of this thing... Yet, you leave it open and unlocked? I don’t get it.” The blonde blinked, still confused before he got the last bit of the food in the trunk. “Or do you have one of those automatic things?” He hadn’t seen him use it, or heard it, but... still. It was a possibility.

Monty had a secret look as he was helping put the rest of the bagged food into the trunk. "I'm a walking contridiction Kalore. I'm surprised you haven't learned that by now." He said with an amused tone, closing the trunk and pushing the cart to the side. Motioning for the elf to get to his door he turned to get to his side. "Now we can get to work." He said with that secret look still that wouldn't do much to ease the confusion Kalore would be feeling right now.
