Neerem...well, he'd heard of that one...jewel specialist. Seemed harmless enough but he heard that she had a wicked temper at times. "Yes, there were fine...a lot less intense than our previous quake before you left, but even little ones are beginning to shake the people up more than they're used to." Though a frown at the news...Kaz had to change? That was never good...and neither was Jae getting into it either...she wasn't even full grown yet. "I see...long as everyone is well." He couldn't baby the boy over it, he knew that and he also knew that Kaz would know he was worried, even if he didn't say it. "Give her my thanks, and I'm glad that those you've picked to go with you are working out M'lady. But I'm afraid we've had no more finds of our own, just mishaps. I will be sure to tell you if we have anything occur like you all did, or if we find any shards."
Bell blinked at the pirate as she requested her and as Kaz let her hands go, she took that as a sign that she should just go help like she was being asked, thus a nod and she stepped away, falling into stride with the pirate whom had already taken off. A look to Caden as he came over. "Yeah I'm fine, some funny side effects and irritating feeligns from the potion I was given but that's about it." Before suddenly she was being pushed along as if in impatience.
Gem snactched Caden as he had walked over and talked to the white scaled dragon-folk, pushing them both now from Chimera and to the Gale Claw's bow. He wanted to talk to whom she was using well then he could be of use himself. "Mister Richards! Give me Chimera at full sail! Mister Robins, give me half sail!" Because Gale Claw was faster and to keep from breaking too far, might as well cut her wind down. "Now, little white dragon, I need you to change and give Gale Claw a tow out of here...then I need you to go to Chimera and give her a push out. Savvy?" And then a poke at Caden's chest. "You go tell Hawk that we're setting sail now."
A listen to her instructions...she was being used as manual labor? She was a cartographer...not a tug boat. But oh well, had to do what you had to do. "Can do." Thus hopping over the side of the ship and a shimmer of silve mist later she was wrappign her tail around the figure head of the Gale Claw, tugging on it and putting it into wind path, before trotting back to Chimer and bracing her horns against the ship's end, giving it a push to follow...ships were kinda heavy for her still little dragon self.
Savvy gave an irritated scowl as the motion of the ship getting a move on rocked her. Well, at least she was done writing her letter to her father asking for advice and for supplies. Malik would either show up personally or send someone to make sure that she got what she needed and no one else did. Sealing the letter, she handed it off to her nightmare, whom promptly would disappear and trace plane lines back to home, and to her family.

It relieved him only a little to know that even though the city had suffered some more quakes, they were nothing compared to what the ships had gone through. "It's the frequency of them. Sadly, the people don't know what to expect anymore, they're losing hope." But nodding solemnly back, catching the undertones of his father's words and appreciating the silent display of encouragement. "We're doing our best, father. Take care of the city and contact us if anything happens."
Turning to Eilynne for a moment. "What destination have the captains planned for next?" But a look up and over to the Gale Claw as both ships had started moving, the Chimera being pushed out by none other than Jae. Frowning, he leaned against the rail and settled his gaze on her. Physical labor so soon after her injuries had just started healing? Worrisome indeed.

"Feel free to contact me directly if you find anything, Lord Lycear. I wish you luck." Seeing the direction of Kaz's gaze, she patted his hand. "She's all better internally which is where it truly matters. All that's left is the outside to finish up as well which is happening as we speak. She'll be fine." She was quiet for a moment, considering and then snapped her fingers. Instantly the yellow ball of light moved to her side and began bouncing up and down. "Go check the maps and tell me what location Hunter has circled next. And tone it down, Areesa."
The bouncing ball of light came singing back and then danced around the rather stoic creature. "He's got two circled. One is a circle of caverns with a smudged name that I couldn't read and the other is another set of ruins not too far from here, it looks like so Bellah should be alright, Kazzy." Her light pulsed for a moment and then she continued, "But there's a funny dotted line on the map connecting the two as well...."

Sand didn't make for good traction either, but she got it too where it needed to be before wind took to sails and fixed the movement problem, though she did almost fall on her snout as the ship moved faster than she expected. Recovering from that lightly she trodded after both ships a moment, turning a look to Kaz as he had been watching her. His frown was probably rightly placed seeing as that hadn't been pleasant to do. A little hop, mid-air change, and then she was standing next to him again, once more in that semi-human form they could take. "Yes, you have right to be worried, I'll let you." Lifting a hand to rub at her head some and around the base of her horns...ow. Turning her look then to Eilynne and Areesa, listening to where they were going. Funny dotted line...well that could be one of three things, either thier route of travel, a road of some sorts, or indication of an underground passage connecting the twol

Looking down at the sudden touch on his hand. "I trust in your judgment, Eilynne. And it has to be done for the ships to get out of this cove without wind." A nod to Areesa as well. The Seon seemed to have given him a nickname. A moment later, Jae was back as well and he turned to her, frown off his face now. "Just don't hurt yourself so soon after you've begun to heal." Absentmindedly lifting a hand to rub her head for her as his attention focused on the information Areesa had given, wondering about the dotted line as well. "The dotted line could be the path we're taking from the ruins to the caverns."
With a soft blip, Xeke returned to his regular self and hovered in place again. "No, it isn't the path we're traveling. He's used a different color for it than the previously taken routes."

"Hey, I was s'posed to tell them that." She fluttered for a moment and then bounced up and down. "It's got larger dashes than the other line of travel too. Obviously noted as something else."
"The Captain often has secrets he chooses not to share. Perhaps it is time we had another meeting?" She lifted her hand and glanced purposefully at it, waiting for Areesa to settle in her palm. "I do not like secrets kept but it is not unlikely that the Captain is planning his own deals on the side. Keep a close eye on him, Kaznec. He is not an enemy yet but in very short order he could be."

She blinked as apparently he was now okay with what she had been doing, not that her head felt any bettter, but it was nice to see he wasn't all upset as he had looked previously. Hm, Eilynne must have said something to him to make him feel better. "I'll do my best to be mindful of that Kaznec." Before a nod. "Sounds like the Captain has an interesting map." Didn't like how all this suspicion was being tossed about though and it showed in a frown.

Before he could even continue talking to his fellow guardsmen of sorts Caden felt himself being push along by someone, and they were in quite the rush. When he looked back he saw Gem and raised an eyebrow before told what exactly that she wanted him to do. "Alright then I'll get right on it." He told her after he was poked in the chest and off he went looking for Captain Deacon.
Minutes later, and after asking some crew just where they put the captain, Caden found himself walking into a room that the man was taken to and at that moment he noticed that Shyrae was also in the room as well; though he remember that she would be because she is a healer after all. "Hello Shyrae." He said giving a light nod of his head before turning to the man on the bed. "I've been told to tell you by Gem that the ships are going to set sail now." At that moment the ship moved a little and then they were off, smiling a little he shoved his hands into his coat pockets as he began to relax a little, he was happy to see that they were at least moving now.

Hunter was not pleased, and had alreayd a few times tried to force himself out of the damned bed...and was not sitting with a dark highly aggravated look with his arms crossed.
then Caden came with news that the ships were underway again...and he motioned him over before turnign his dark look to teh other human.
"My ship. repairs to it are done, correct?"

"I agree. Another meeting is in order with the two captains. If not about our next destinations, then about at least about our perspective goals. We can't keep traveling headstrong into the unknown with nothing in mind. More strange things are occurring and I fear the crew will lose motivation soon." Glancing to Jae for a moment, he nodded and dropped his hand. "Good." Then looking back to the Laerethe, the beginnings of a frown forming on his face. "Captain Deacon is eccentric in style, but I do hope that you are wrong in that aspect. In the mean time, I will do as you say, Eilynne."
"Don't hog the spotlight, Areesa." But merely dimming down as the Seon flew over to land on Kaz's shoulder, listening to the present discussion. "The guy launched himself onto a dragon's head... He's not eccentric, he's obsessively insane."

"Oh fine." Making a 'hmph' sound, she bobbed gently in place and waited for the rest of her orders from Eilynne. "You shouldn't steal it either."
"As do I, Kaznec, but I do fear that the darkness that he allows to consume him will not bode well for the rest of us. He has dark things in his past that could become obstacles on our journey, but then so do we all. I will stand beside you and Captain Deacon as long as you both have the fates of all involved as your utmost concern and the gift on the same level."
Turning to Jae, she fluttered her hand. "Jaebelltiah, I would like you to go over his maps and tell me anything you find that stands out to you or does not match up with the general style. Kaznec, you and I and the Seons will go to his cabin and have a meeting with both the captains over what to do next. The Chimera should be repaired and we should be able to move on. Our next destination and the possiblities await us."
Shyrae just chuckled inwardly at his less than pleased attitude over her edicts for his injuries. When she healed, she took it very seriously. Caden's appearance caused her to step back slightly and merely wait though she did nod as he acknowledged her. The sudden movement of the ships jolted her and she reached out and grasped a bureau to keep from falling on her a**. "You'll have to excuse Hunter Caden, he's a little grumpy right now."

Caden waited quietly for the captain to speak, when the man did he thought over what he saw of the mast of the Chimera before looking back at the man on the bed. "I say by the looks of thing's it's almost done. Maybe another half an hour or so maybe even less? You got some good workers Hunter they have been going at it non stop since they were given the order to repair it." A small nod to that before he turned to Shyrae and grinned a little bit. "It's alright really, I don't mind people being grumpy as long as they don't snap back at me." A chuckle to that before he shook his head a little. "Though he looks better than what he did awhile back...I must say your healing skills are really good." And that made him glad that the drow was on thier side for this little adventure, really glad indeed.

Bell gave a nod. "I'll do just that, need to fetch the maps from Captain Deacon's cabin...and I'll see if Captain Neerem will let me cross reference to her own maps as well...maybe we can find some more things out or some alternate routes to take if we can't take direct ones." Thus giving a nod to those she was in company with before a flare of wings and a hop off the ship, taking a glide over to the Gale Claw ahead of the Chimera. Might as well try to wrangle those maps first.

"Only time will tell." Nodding solemnly but continuing to ponder these issues, he gestured with a hand to lead her to the captain's cabin, seeing Jae off as she left. He knocked sharply twice then opened the door and entered behind Eilynne, blinking a moment in the dimmer light filtering through the windows. A nod to both Shyrae and Raynes, then moving towards where the captain was lying. "Captain Deacon, how are your injuries faring?" With the healer elf nearby, Kaz had to assume that he'd been taking care of in some form.
Not displaying any particular surprise as Eilynne summoned him as well, Xeke followed the procession into the cabin, floating by Kaz's head. "Hey look, it's a party in here..." So many people, so little space.

"My injuries are fine except for this elf who has used some form of runic magic to bind me in my damned bed when I should be overseeing my ship's repairs and getting her ready for sail myself. And she confiscated my rum. I don't appreciate being entirely sober while stuck in a bed I can't get out of."
Okay...wait a minute. what were those floating things and why was that little lady here.
"and what is all the fuss about? are you here to thank me for my heroic intervention or here to berate me for being foolish? and you might want to take a look at those pieces there on the desk. I know the feel of dragonscale and that certainly is not dragonscale."
