Remus stopped and gently took hold of her arm. "Lina, remember what I said to you at Lotan's tomb. I had and still have, complete faith in your abilites. You knew this would be hard, but you took on the challenge anyway. Every one in the Lotus understands that and respects you for it. Don't forget that." His voice was soft and warm. Anyone listening would have known from simply his tone that he really did care.

Lina still looked down as she listened, shaking slightly from her emotions, some of which had not fully recovered from the recent experience. She closed her eyes before hugging himtight, wrapping her arms around his neck, "A moment of weakness...I am not used to that," she said as a lone tear fell from her eye.

Remus held her tight to him. "To show emotion is not to show weakness, and I am always here if you are in need of me." He could feel her shaking slightly and felt an unexplained desire to keep her safe. It was strange though, he felt the need to protect her not from physical harm, but to sheild her from the frustration and confusion that troubled her. "You are strong, but not invincible. You can always count on my strength to aid you."

Rikku sat there for a while before closing her eyes and letting her mind drift until she found what she was looking for.
"Lina i know you can hear me. Something is telling me to stay here so i might not return to Signet for a while. I don't think i could leave even if i wanted, its holding me here..... Come back whenever to make sure im still sane or send Remus" She said this with sarcasim clearly in her voice. "Also this might not matter but both my consiousneses are........awake, and aware.... Both from before and after i got amnesia"

"Yes who else and im talking to you what else would i be doing. Also i didn't feel like going insane with only my other.......my other self to talk to. Anyways i would be there right now except something is holding me back. Its the same thing that led me here but it won't let me leave"
