OK guys, less than 24 hours and I'll be free from the annoying company menace and able to start picking up my RP posting again. Just bear with me, it may be a little rocky for a few weeks. The past week has just sapped the creativity and energy right out of me to the point of losing all interest in pretty much everything. I'm slow to bounce back from things like that, but I'll get there eventually. I realize I'm kinda holding Chef up, so let's see if I have the energy to get a post done later tomorrow evening.
Less than 24 hours, Cel...less than 24.....

Thanks so much for the support, hun. It has been rough, but the company is at least on his way out of town as of about 9 this morning. I feel marginally better, but I'll feel more like I'm in the clear and things can get back to normal when he's out of state headed home. Bad part is it put me out of my drawing mood, which I had *just* gotten back into before he came. emotion_donotwant MasturChef *hugs* You can do it! Less than a day left until CREEEEEEEEDOOOOMMMMMMMMM! Uh, I mean freedom Always a timely pun from Chef. It never gets old.

Also got part of Caelen's back story written out that includes a few of the OC's used in the RP. I'm also using the mini comic about the angels versus demons war as my basis for his early history. What I have is already 3 pages long, so I don't think I'll post it to my OC thread, but maybe I can find somewhere else to put it. It's less dialog and more third person omniscient narrative.

I think a lot of it for most of us will have to amount to separate threads because if we tried to put a bunch of side story stuff into the RP, it would get even more drawn out. Draw things out too much, and people start to lose interest. I already plan on creating my own history thread for Caelen with various tales about things that happened to him since his beginnings. Rather than try to put all the back story into the RP, we can use separate character history threads as reference logs. It's not too much unlike your character log you have going already. I'm not saying don't try to put any of it in. Just be selective. I know I'll never be able to work in all of my back story on Cae, some of it because it can't be posted, other because it really is unnecessary to the RP and only serves as history.

I've never been much for surprises anyhow. Right now I am stuck on one story (the one I sent) and working on another one with bru, but since Venilia has a kid sister relationship with Cae am certain there will be more stuff I'll throw your way.

`Hydro Well, if you get super stuck, let me know if I can help. Sometimes a fresh perspective can be the best thing for writer's block. As much as I know people hate it when writers do self-insertion stuff, I've been thinking of giving Cel a friend from Earth (me) that comes to visit, and Cae and this friend (me) end up developing a sort of oldest brother/sister relationship. It's not spirit twins like Alice and Chef, but more of an actual "are you sure we aren't really siblings separated at birth" sort of thing. It'll all go in the back story stuff and probably never show up in the RP since I think it would throw everyone off way too much.
