She felt sorry for the final bat that flapped overhead, because instead of hitting it with one dart, she accidentally shot it with two. When at last oh had been vanquished, she dropped the shotgun immediately, her body suddenly sore and tired.
The Hatter thanked her with eloquent words of praise (or at least she thought that's what all those words meant), and once she was released of gun duty, he placed a treasure chest in her arms as payment. And with that, she took the chest with her, vowing that she shouldn't handle guns again.
