Writing style can be hard to compare to sometimes when you don't know everybody's way of writing.

The leadership does need to step it up in a number of ways, myself included. Recruitment hasn't happened in earnest for quite some time, and there needs to be a concentrated effort to get people back into the games.
That said, most of the issues brought up here can't be dealt with by us without alienating everybody else. These sound more like personality conflicts than anything else. If we "restructured" the guild or whatever to imnimize this, it'd ruffle a few feathers*.
*I say this personally having attempted to do so once, with catastrophic results.

Speaking of recruiting. I know LPS was wanting to do a Tektek contest for the Mafia Maniac. We could do one in the Chatterbox or somewhere and have a prize and maybe make something of a to-do about it. And some how make it about recruiting as well to attempt to get new members. Something like Tektek contest is better than just a give away thread because you don't have to give out so much. Plus, similar to a contest I just finished judging, we could even consider making it multi-leveled thus keeping it going for awhile and maybe gathering something of a following of people who might join the guild.
Also, way back forever ago, LPS mentioned wanting to change the name of the guild. Maybe we should do that since a) Maybe the idea of us being only about Mafia games alienates some people (this was LPS's thing before) and b) Our main focus doesn't really seem to be Mafia games and I don't know how often they are going to be occurring anymore since I don't know how many people are willing to mod them.
I realize this isn't the place for this post but I don't know where to post it instead. But since we are talking about change...

I like both of those ideas, but at the same time as far as the complaints go I see us as less of a guild that needs to be moderated and advertised and unique and more as a casual social circle with common interests. I'm not really motivated to assume a leadership role since I don't think anybody really should be in that position.
What I do wanna do is put in a rule on this thread about namedropping people in confessions. Quote: skae is a massive tool imo Quote: Cookie REALLY annoys me. Anywhosers, I feel like....I have nothing of value to add to the discussion at hand. smile I usually just go along with whatever's going on, and that usually seems to be Sexual discussions, which hasn't bothered me mostly because that's how life goes for me IRL too....hmmmmm.....
So, like, if you wanna talk about, like, other stuuuuffffffff.....than, like, like I wouldn't have a problem with that....like like like......liiiiike.....

But the girl was talking about using asterisks instead of names and not like LPS = *** (cause then people could guess) but instead like LPS or Dess or Medeus or anyone= *******. But the guild voted and decided to just leave the names in.
So we can do that instead. Basically the poll will be should we leave names in confessions or start using *******.

Also, updated. There's a difference between getting something off your chest and exploiting anonymity to be a d**k with no fear of backlash though. There are examples of both in the list. Maybe it should just be on a case-by-case basis. I really don't want to see any more 'I hate _____, who is a smelly ******** and should go sit on a d***o covered in sandpaper' type confessions on here.
