 H o n e y p a w“A joke is a very serious thing.”___________________________[Honeypaw flicked his ears at Birdsong, nodding kindly.]
“You're welcome,” he meowed and smiled, trying not to laugh along as he turned back to Willowheart, “Really? Huh...I could've sworn--I mean, I've always thought that...I dunno,” he lifted a leg to scratch himself behind an ear, “So then, since we're already on the subject--and I've got really nothing else to talk about--would you know who he's taken a liking to? Or, since that would most likely be a 'no', any toms you're interested in? Ah, you know what, you don't have to asnwer any of that. I'm getting too personal...”
[Honeypaw let out an annoyed mrreow at himself, holding back a laugh, covering his face with a forepaw and flattening his ears. He knew he overdid things like this a lot, he just hoped that it wouldn't have been here, in front of four she-cats. His tail-tip twitched repeatedly in embarrassment.]___________________________

"Well... I know for sure he's not going after Shatteredfang. She's got something against him, she does. I don't know what's wrong with her... But, I don't really know"

[Rainpaw walked up to Willowheart..] " Be careful. Just in case.. Make sure it isn't Shatteredfang.. Because it might be her.. And she might have feelings for Darkshadow. And yes.. I know my words are more likely for a warrior but really. I'm fourteen moons."

"Actually, I think Darkshadow and Shatteredfang have feelings for each other. I overheard them talking, and- well, I can't say anything else" she whispered.

[Shatteredfang sighing, hearing cats whispering mutters about Darkshadow, but she kept her calm and cool facade on. It was when she heard her name mentioned in the mix that she grew rigid.
She felt Cinderwing shift beside her.] "What's wrong?" he asked curiously.
pShatteredfang shook her head, worry pricking her pelt.] "Um, it's nothing," she meowed, standing up. "Just worried about what the leaders are going to say once they find out that we're keeping Darkshadow in our camp," she mumbled, twitching her tail.
[A snort came from beside her.] "I hope they find out. They should take the treacherous and traitorous piece of foxdung, flay him, and feed the pieces to the buzzards," he growled. [Shatteredfang let her ears flatten against her head.]
"Nonsense. If they keep spreading te word like this, then someone's bound to get angry, and then they'll attack us!" she warned evenly.
[Green, wary eyes rested on her, making her shudder slightly.] Cinderwing growled, "You know, you are seeming a little....moony today," he meowed, a glint in his eyes.
[Shatteredfang laughed, batting at the tom's ear.] "No I do not," she giggled lightly, a grin sliding on her face. [Despite her light seeming mood, on the inside, she was frantic. Oh dear StarClan, he'll find out, and he'll hate me, she thought sadly. Cinderwing was one of her best friends, and she didn't want to hurt him now, since he still had feelings for her.] But I'll have to tell him sooner, if not later, she thought in defeat. But not now.

[Shatteredfang grew rigid as the apprentice mentioned that Darkshadow had feelings for her. She felt a shift beside her.]
Cinderwing blinked. "What was that?" he asked, curiosity sparking his voice. [Shatteredfang shook her head, motioning the tom away. To her surprise, he listened, and padded away. The crooked jawed she-cat glanced at the she-cat that had confronted her about her developing relationship, but her glare softened.] "Hey wait, aren't you Rainpaw?" she asked. [She had seen the apprentice in the battle, but never at a gathering.
The small tabby sighed.] "Yes, We have feelings for each other," she meowed quietly, instantly regretting it. What if this apprentice went off giddily and blabbed the whole thing to the rest of the cats at the Gathering? Would she be a traitor? Is she a traitor?
Shatteredfang flattened her ears. "Why do you ask?" she asked hesitantly.

Their soothing voices, call me by name.
________________ Larkcry padded into the clearing. It was her first Gathering as a warrior. Looking around, she gasped as she was overwhelmed by the amount of cats. She stood, frozen in awe. She was amazed that this many cats could possibly fit here. And the fact that SeaClan still hadn't arrived. ________________
Intoxicated, my senses dull.
Others might think, that I'm going insane.

[Willowheart frowned and flattened her ears as Rainpaw ran up to Shatteredfang and began questioning her eagerly. Willowheart sighed and called out to Foxfur, trying to spot him amoung the assembled cats]
[Foxfur heard Willowheart's call, and twitched his ears, padding over, and plopping himself down next to his friend]
"Hello Frostfern, Birdsong. Honeypaw! How's training with Hauntedheart going?"
[Frostfern twitched her tail in reply to Foxfur's greeting, and jumped up, running after Rainpaw]
"Rainpaw, who's this?"

"I forgot to congratulate you on becoming deputy, since I had to take care of that snake head, and then a falcon tried to snatch my prey away and I had to go to the medicine cat den for that ordeal," he meowed, yawning. "So congratulations," he purred enthusiastically.
The black tom gazed over to where Shatteredfang and Rainpaw were talking. "So what do you suppose they're talking about?" he asked, flicking his ears toward the two, now three.

((Guys, what's going on here isn't okay. Rainpaw can't possibly know Darkshadow and Shatteredfang have feelings for each other, since she's in a different Clan and Shatteredfang has been concealing it! I don't mind the gossip, but cats reading minds and knowing everything? I consider that godmodding. No more, please.))

[He glanced over at the cats]
"I'm not sure. Who knows? She-cats can talk about anything and find it interesting. I mean, it's just blah blah-"
[He was about to finish his sentence and roll his eyes when Willowheart and Birdsong leaped on him]
[Willowheart giggled and held him down with a paw as Birdsong circled him]
"Oh, Foxfur? What were you just going to say about us she-cats?"
