 Moonkit
[Moonkit woke up thrashing sending pile of herbs flying.
She hissed in annoyance at the chaos of smells and leaves.
Striding out as graceful as she could manage she sniffed.
She was so hungry right now, she'd bet she'd even eat one of Nightclan's toads!
Pushing away the disturbing image of the infected prey she spotted Brightspirit, as well as Riverfang.
Her ears pricked as she padded over to them.]
"Ahh, um.. Brightspirit? Riverfang? Umm, I .. I just wanted to thank you for protecting me!" she blurted out before she lost the courage.
"I know you protected me Riverfang and I thank you. You too Brightspirit. You really have shown us that you've got the Stormclan spirit." she mewed, tail-tip twitching with amusement at remembering Brightspirit's smart retorts.
[She dipped her head embarrassedly.]

[Brightspirit purred as she reminced with Moonkit]
"I sure showed them what a Stormclan cat's attiude is like"
[She grinned]
[Riverfang flicked Moonkit's ear with his tail affectionatly]
"You're welcome Moonkit, and if you weren't becoming the Medicine Cat apprentice, you'd be one of the best warriors, and then you'd have to be the one protecting me!" He purred.

[I turned as I heard Moonkit wake up.]
Overhearing what she and the two visiting warriors had said, I purred and called to Brightspirit, "You sure did! You showed those rude foxhearted cats what a true StormClan cat is like!"
I blinked warmly, my purr rumbling through my chest, and added, "But if you'll excuse me, I need to find Hawkpaw."
[I dipped my head and padded away.
He had said something to me during the gathering, and I wasn't sure what it was. That had been when the NightClan cats started arguing with us. I looked around for him, my head swiveling from side to side.]
"Hawkpaw," I called, "where are you?"
(( I never forgot what he said, rain. >D I'm sorry I never responded to it. >> ))

[Silverstar padded into the clearing, shaking her silver paws. She was soaked in water, as she had just dunked herself in the creek to clean the infected blood off of her. She glanced around the clearing, and found Brightspirit and Riverfang were talking just as Thunderpaw scampered off. She was about to call to Thunderpaw when she thought better of it. Leave her be, we can always train later. she thought. She padded up to Brightspirit and Riverfang.]
"I'd like you to gather a couple more warriors and take a patrol for the BreezeClan border. We haven't been that way laely. If you still have time before sunset, please also check the NightClan border."
[Silverstar's tail twitched as she awaited their response.] _________________________________________

[Starpelt padded into the clearing shortly after Silverstar leaving behind her paw prints.She,too,went into the river,but only to clean off her paws.She ended up with a soaked underbelly which wasn't what she intended.She spotted Moonkit and walked over to her.]"I hate to interrupt things,but I would like to speak to Moonkit alone over there,"she said and flicked her tail in the direction of a spot with no cats there,and out of earshot.

[Moonkit watched as the little group dispersed.
She was slightly disheartened that they all had things to do and other cats to do it with.
She turned away, tail drooping.
Her ears flicked high as they heard a cat calling her name.]
Starpelt! she thought excitedly.
[Tail lashing she made her way to the black she-cat.
Eyes glemaming she answered clearly with a hint of unwavering excitement..]
"Yes? she mewed, her tail-tip quivering.

 FireStorm nodded at SilverClaw as he heard her words. He licked Icestorm's and Silverclaw's ears comfortingly and affectionately. "It's allright. Dont worry." HE assured them.

[Starpelt let out a light sigh.] "Moonkit,I bet you're thinking I've been avoiding your apprenticeship.This journey is important and they need a medicine cat.Silverstar said she could perform the ceremony for you,but I won't be able to train you while I'm gone.I've seen you secretly go into the medicine cat's den many times,studying the herbs, so I believe you are able to take care of the clan while I'm gone.Cindermoon will help out while Silverstar is gone and I hope you can take of of the warriors if they are hurt.Does this sound good to you?"she asked the kit.

[Brightspirit gazed around the camp. She was at loss for what warriors to ask. Her and Riverfang didn't really know many of the warriors]

 H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkpaw lay just outside of the apprentices' den, his legs wrapped snuggly in cobwebs. He'd payed a visit to Starpelt when they all returned from the Gathering, and he was advised to rest and let nature mend the torn muscles in his legs. The brown and gray tom snorted, flicking an ear. All of StormClan were out, doing their daily patrols, chatting, hunting, and he lay like lazy kittypet, watching his wounds heal.The mere thought made him want to rip the gossamer off of his legs and hunt for each of his Clanmates.
He sighed, flopping over to one side and trying to nap away his mild anger.]
