Pastel rolled around, finally putting out the flame on his paw, he then proceeded to lie there and pant for a second... that was not as interesting as he had thought that it would be... He stood up, thankful that his paw wasn't burned too badly, just a little singed fur, and shook it. He noticed that was there were two additional Pokemon in the room.. great.. he had panicked in front of strangers.. and one was an Espeon, too.. perfect... He cleared his throat, "uh.. Ah.. meant tah do dat?"

Dido clambered up the new set of stairs, once again managing well enough, but grumbling under her breath all the way, wishing she had her Eros here to carry her up. Upon sniffing the first door she came to, right across the hallway from the stairwell, the Skitty recoiled in horror, almost tripping over her own back paws in her efforts to get away. Something, perhaps many things, had died in there, and she could not bear to be anywhere near it. Dido's rapid retreat ran her tail-first into a room filled with beds, several of them already claimed by the others. The beds and the pillows on them looked quite inviting, but first she was hungry, and she smelled food nearby.

Merlin peeked into the kitchen, awoken by the screams of a certain cockney accented eevee. "What in the Hall's name is going on here?" the semi groggy ghost exclaimed. He only just caught Pastel putting out the fire on his paw. Merlin shook his head. He hadn't known the eevee for that long, but he knew one thing about him: Pastel was an expert at injuring himself for whatever reason. "Alright," Merlin sighed, "what did Pastel do this time?"

"Oh, his name's Pastel?" Zyk asked, cocking his ears in Merlin's direction. "Well, I think he just stuck his paw into a fire." Zyk nodded once, a quavering smile on his lips. Despite his worries and the missing Zinnia, he was having a little fun. Just a teensy, tiny, little bit. It would have been hilarious if Zinnia were there, though...
Mentally shaking himself, Zyk did his best to appear relaxed. After all, the other pokemon wouldn't trust him if he were jumpy and afraid. He had to be strong if he was going to save Zin!

"Mmhmm." Daybreak noticed that a Misdreveus entered the room and didn't pull any pranks as he entered. Surprisingly enough.
"If you want to evolve, you better use an evolution stone." She said simply to the Eevee before starting to wander around the kitchen. Was there anything interesting here?

Merlin smiled, dropping a pillow from beneath his robe as he passed over daybreak. It was the one he had been lying on and then "absorbed" into his body in the same manner as the skittles and Pokeball. After all, a ghost pokemon would always be a ghost pokemon, mischief included. "Yes, little Zubat, that is his name." Merlin said to Zyk. "As I assume you, too, have a name, I would like to request it. I am called Merlin."

Ammy had been tagging along with the group in their journey through the confines of the rocket lair in silence since the first day, when she had tried to help the mewtwo crack the code... and he had refused. Hmph, how rude, too good to accept help from a girl. Anyway, Ammy had been keeping an eye on him, not quite sure what he was up too and so she had been only a few feet back when they reached the top of the stairs and suddenly he was gone, retreating into a small room and locking the door behind him with a click. I wonder what he's up to now? Doesn't he need to eat?
After several attempts to unlock the door she gave up with a sigh and set about exploring her surroundings. The first thing she smelled was food and since she had not eaten any of the junk food that they found previously she hurried off in the direction of the cafeteria in haste. Sliding around the doorway she spied a bunch of food on top of the tables and set about searching for something that was worth eating. Aha! Berries... and... POFFINS! Leaping nimbly up to the table top she set about selecting only her favorite kinds of berries, pecha and cheri along with some sweet smelling poffins and started her quest to fill up. She was famished.
A long while later, after stuffing herself to the point she thought she might explode if she ate one more berry Amaryllis leapt off the table and set off to explore that room at the top of the stairs. The one that smelled of death... she had to know just what had gone on in that room so that she would know what to expect when they finally encountered the rockets.
((Anyone who wants too can follow Ammy, she'd love company...))

Zyk was a little ruffled by the ghost pokemon. They were tricky fellows... "My name is Zyk," he said stiffly. "It's a... pleasure to meet you, Merlin." The tiny zubat dipped his head in greeting in the ghost's direction. Zyk was very glad for echolocation, or he would have been truly blind.
"I wonder if we'll find them soon," Zyk said quietly to himself. There was no need to wonder who Zyk meant by 'them'. The sooner he found Zinnia, the happier he would be.

If anything heavier and harder than a pillow dropped on Daybreak's head, it might've been the end of Merlin. But when it plopped on Daybreak like a... pillow, she just shrugged it off and glared at him. She shouldn't have jinxed it then. And she didn't want to know where that pillow has been.
"We're getting close. Why else would Menudo locked himself in that room?" She said quietly.

While running up and down the hallway with her pillow, Dakota's nose couldn't help but sniff around a bit, especially when they passed the kitchen. It smelled like something was burning or cooking, though she couldn't tell which at the moment. She couldn't help but think of all those times she had been snuck food by Pa McPherson when he was barbecuing. Skidding slightly so she could turn around, she continued to run.
Maybe if the smell got tastier, she'd be interested in investigating the kitchen.

Merlin held in a chuckle as he felt Daybreak's glare. "Yes, it is very nice to make your acquaintance, too, Zyk." Merlin kept looking at the Zubat, seemingly ignoring the miffed Espeon until she mentioned the locked room. "Menudo," Merlin turned to face Daybreak, "Is that the MewTwo's name? Ah, anyway, if it is, then I quite imagine he's had enough of us for now. Maybe he's working, maybe he's sleeping, who knows?"

Merlin looked at Pastel with one "eyebrow" raised. "It is a trait of ghost types, Pastel," Merlin began, "We ghosts, since we are not made of flesh and blood like most Pokemon and humans, are adept at preforming feats that no "solid" being could do, such as absorb small objects into our body and hold then there for storage. We do have limits, though." Merlin sighed, "Ghosts are not very strong, so anything we try to lift the "normal" way will simply fall through us. We have to levitate things, which is very taxing to do." The Misdreavus nodded. "We also are not the best when it comes to, say, ramming doors open. Not to mention that, when exposed, we are highly vulnerable to all manner of specialized assault." Merlin continued rambling on about Ghost for the next few minutes, sometimes breaking into melodramatic sighs, sometimes into eerie cackling.

Ammy stepped inside the "forbidden room" as she had decided to call it because of all the horrible things that she imagined had happened inside and held her breath. Peering around she noted all the cages were empty and that there was a metal lab table in the center of the room. From her level she couldn't see if there was anything on it and so she set about climbing up the cages and peering across the room. Once she had a good vantage point she noted that there were many needles, syringes and other supplies that didn't look so nice. Many of the objects still had blood on them and Ammy shuddered.
What happened in here? she wondered and she leapt to the floor only to try to climb up ontop of the stool that stood next to the table. It was unsteady and her weight caused it to topple over with a loud metallic crash. Rolling across the floor Ammy got up, tensed to retaliate only to calm down as she realized she was still alone. She stood, fur fluffed up a bit from the surprise, and tried to find another way to get to the top of the table.
((No one was talking to her before cause they were all in the kitchen... I figured a crash might attract some attention XD))

Many of the others had sprung ahead to investigate the kitchen. The smell of foods---especially forbidden people food!---was far too tantalizing. Actually, in all honesty, Lucine was pretty tempted too. She was absolutely certain some of the forbidden foods----candy, especially----were there. They just had to be! And then there was the pillow room, a realm of softness that beckoned one to sleep. That was the one that Lucine had been headed towards, mostly out of curiosity. Something about it seemed out of place…
But then that almighty crash caught her attention, surprising her to the point where all of her fur floofed out. The pink mew-turned-eevee arched her back a little bit and hissed at what she thought of as the Death Room. The crash had come from there. And no one else was going… she hesitated before softly padding into the room, her tail swishing anxiously behind her.
The stench of death was even heavier inside the room, floating down from the tables. Cages----empty cages---stood as a silent testament to those who had suffered. “Hey!” she called out to a raichu. “Are you alright? I heard a crash…”
