Ethan grinned sadistically when he heard Sakio's suggestion. He was more than okay with that, but there was the issue of how much control he had over her. The strength of someone's will is not something to be overlooked... the only reason XANA is able to make me serve him is because I chose to serve him.
"Just make sure you don't lose control over her," he said as the overall system energy began increasing. He ran a quick weapons inventory check, and determined that he had enough to fight. "If she takes control of your ship, I'm gonna laugh. Then I'll kill you both." "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."

I was reading back a few pages and realized that I promised you guys a time skip but I forgot about it. sweatdrop
So... who wants to skip to mid-battle between the XANA-warriors in their subs and the skid?

(It's kinda close to use getting there. Skid is almost on the way, shields will be done by the time they get there. You've got that thing where they virtualize inside the Skid. I think that's all a time skip on it's own. Ehhh... Still wondering when MiaIkumis#1Fan is gonna start posting. Either way, pretty close to the end. Hoping we can get to the end, this thing is has been going on for a year.)

Anyways, I was just thinking that we should hurry up and have the Lyoko warriors get Alicia back because she's been a captive for about, what, 10 pages now? And this entire last battle was too drawn out for my taste. I'd like to move on to bigger and better things. ]]

[ Hey guys! I'm back from my trip! Sorry about the delay.
So... I'm not really sure if there's anything I can have Brook do at the moment. No offense or anything, but not much development has happened since I left about two weeks ago.
I'm all for the time skip if you guys want. Mostly since I can't really do anything until fighting starts. ]

[[ All right, so we'll proceed as follows:
Everyone (Kearo, Conor, Brook) is now in the Skid, inside Zero-Space and fighting. The shields and whatnot work without problems. If Korn decides to start posting, I'll let Donny jump in with the others in the fight. If not, just go without him.
The Skid has split into the main craft and navskid, each one taking on a separate XANA-warrior's craft. They've figured out that Alicia is being held captive aboard Sakio's ship and are focusing efforts on his craft to capture or destroy it. As the fight has already been going on a while, both sides have already taken damage.
Ready, set, roleplay. razz ]]

"Whoa!" Conor yanked sharply back and to the right of the joystick, doing a barrel roll to avoid a stray torpedo. As the missile curved around on lock with his craft, he fired his own torpedo to destroy it. "Get away! I don't have time to waste on you!"
He banked sharply back toward the shadow stream, firing two missiles that locked onto the ship.

Ethan circled silently above the fighting, waiting for the right formation to present itself. He launched the occasional torpedo into the mass of ships, making sure to gain lock on an enemy's ship and not an ally's.
He saw several craft converge on Sakio's ship and grinned, twisting the steering column sideways abruptly. His ship tumbled sideways and stabilized itself, nose pointing down. A low whine could be heard inside the cockpit as the twin ion cannons charged to full.
"Hey Sakio, duck," he said into his headset as he unleashed a small barrage of green bolts from the cannons. With the ships gathered as close together as they were, he was bound to hit something unless they acted quickly. Even if their shielding was up, any craft that was hit with the ion cannon would have all its electronics temporarily overloaded. "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running."

Sakio heard a beeping from the panel in the cockpit, it showed two missiles locked onto his ship. "Power to the port shields." He pressed a few buttons on the panel and let the two missiles hit, the shields on ship took the hits while leaving the hull protected. Sakio heard Ethan over the comms telling him to duck. He looked up to see what Ethan was doing, and it was perfect timing. He pressed more buttons on the panel and put his hands back on the wheel. "Power diverted to the engines." He said and then the Shadow Stream had boosted out of the barrage of green bolts that Ethan had launched. He turned the ship around and noticed some navskids were hit. "Alicia, get rid of those pests."
(Is Kearo is a navskid or in the cockpit of the skid?)

[[ It's up to you guys to decide who's piloting what ship. I already specified that Conor is in a navskid. Someone has to pilot the main ship. ]]

Even though Brook had managed to memorize most of the controls in the navskid, it still didn't make her a better pilot. Her reflexes were fast, but she took all of her focus and concentration to keep dodging the fire, on the offensive few times the entire fight.
Brook bit her lip as she maneuvered the ship to dodge the attack that had just launched from Sakio's ship, and unknowingly right into the path of the green blasts from Ethan. She braced herself for the impact of when it hit, then tried to fire back, but nothing happened.
She hit the controls again and realized the entire ship was being unresponsive. "Guys... I can't move."

Alicia turned her head to look at Sakio before nodding in response. The battle was pretty hectic as they somehow manage to avoid getting hit by Ethan's attack. As the ship turned around, she could that they did hit their mark. Pressing some buttons to activate the weapons took a little longer than she hoped. Yet it wasn't too big of a shock as she barely knew how to control these things. There was a bit of struggle to figure out what did what exactly. In an effort to make up for the time she lost trying to set up the weapons, she took a shot at one of the ships without first locking on the target.

Conor looped around, seeing a torpedo coming toward him. However it didn't pursue him further, as it hadn't locked onto his navskid properly. Why did they just waste a torpedo? He thought in confusion before gaining lock on the shadow stream again. No matter... their loss!
"We... are taking Alicia back!" He said as he fired two more torpedoes at Sakio's craft.

Ethan grinned as he saw a navskid sparkle briefly with green electrical arcs before turning dark, all its lights and other systems disabled. He pushed forward on the throttle and boosted toward the downed ship at full speed, with shields on full capacity. His shielding simultaneously protected him and formed a concussive shockwave in front of his ship's nose that would severely jar the navskid and whoever was inside.
"Die," he laughed as he piloted his ship into point-blank maneuvering range for a full-speed ram. "Lyoko is XANA's domain, and in it our power is absolute. I suggest you start running." [[ Nasanam: By process of elimination, Kearo is in the skid's main cockpit. Mia: since the ion cannons are only temporary you can have the navskid's electronics come on again at any time. ]]

Kearo looked around as the navskids fought the XANA warriors, his craft didn't have the speed like them and thus he wasn't able to fight back as well. He noticed the Shadow Stream had boosted away from the navskids when a barrage of green bolts came crashing down, Brook being one who got hit. He looked back at the Shadow Stream, noticing the weapons started firing at Brook's disabled navskid. "They're targeting Brook!" The comms inside the Skid had picked up static and then a familiar voice came through. "Thank Alicia for that." Of course that little comment annoyed Kearo and enraged him as well. He wanted to fire back at Sakio's ship, but looked up at the ship where the barrage of green bolts had came from. It was the Tiburon Negra, Ethan's ship, which was now nosediving towards Brook's ship for a full-speed ram. "No!" Kearo adjusted the settings of the Skid and set all the power to the shields. With as much speed the Skid's propellers could produce, Kearo maneuvered for the Skid to take on the ram from Ethan and projectiles coming from Sakio and Alicia.
