Aislinn flicked her ears back for a minute, surprised that Kasen had so astutely guessed at her motives for accepting Lycan blood and becoming Pack. Perhaps they shared more connections than she had bargained for.

Still, after a moment, her ears swiveled forwards again and her tail switched back and forth. She understood that Kasen was trying to make her comfortable and put her at ease in this new body, and she appreciated that. His posture was a bit antagonistic which confused her. Ash was still working the meanings of all the various gestures and mannerisms that were so particular to wolf packs. It looked as though he was ready to pounce, but maybe that was just a function of his overall features. As big and feral as they were, werewolves probably couldn't help but appear intimidating.

It feels... Ash went to answer him, searching for a word that could best describe her new sense of Pack and family. Right...? She hazarded, wondering if that was too sappy a comment. But it did feel right to her. The Pack was the family she'd been deprived of so many years ago. It was filling a space inside her that had been empty for quite some time, and Ash reveled in that sensation.

Umm... And just how do I go about doing that? Aislinn asked, ducking her head in embarrassment. Kasen seemed to shift from his wolf to human for quite easily, and she imagined Evil and the rest of the Pack could do the same, but she had never considered doing so herself.

She wasn't much of a strategist and was much more likely to throw herself headfirst into a situation without considering the consequences. Now she was pack, had a family, but what was left of her humanity? Had she lost it somewhere during the painful induction? Somehow, she doubted that was the case. After all, she would never have known Kasen to be a lycan himself had he not transformed in front of her.

Ok... Ash shook herself, preparing, in theory to phase back to her human form. If she could remember just what that form was. Who was Ash the human? Where did Aislinn end and the wolf begin? For that matter, was there any distinction between the two that remained after her induction?

She tried to focus on her features. Luminous blue eyes in a slightly-tanned face, silver piercings shining against her skin and from within the darkness of her black hair. Lean muscle, calluses on her hands from swordplay, heavy pads on her feet from constantly going barefoot on any terrain. This was Ash the human, but was that enough to recall her human form? She thought perhaps not. Not when she was in love with the feeling of Pack, of family. Ash the human had family, too, though. Loving parents who would never see their daughter again but, in the limited time they had together, had always shown her the greatest affection.

She slipped back into her human form without realizing it. Her hair had lost its braids and ranged wildly around her face. The skin around her piercings was slightly reddened due to irritation. She was crouched on all fours, anklet still dangling from her right ankle but, besides her usual accessories, she didn't have a stitch of clothing on.

With a cry of surprise, she curled up, trying to cover herself as her cheeks flared bright red in embarrassment.

"Kasen!" She squeaked in panic. Did this happen to all werewolves? Where the hell were her clothes?

"Could a' told me that," Ash muttered, wrapping herself firmly in Kasen's hooded cloak. She might have been truly angry-- if only out of extreme embarrassment-- when Kasen slipped a bracelet onto her wrist. This gesture pulled her up short and she stared blankly at it, running a finger over the delicately braided fur.

When she next looked up, her face was still flushed, but anger was replaced by a broad grin and she threw her arms around Kasen's neck, quite forgetting that she was naked beneath his cloak.

"Thank you, Kasen," She said as she hugged him. "Means a lot," And she wasn't exaggerating. The bracelet was only further proof of her bonds with the Pack. Of her Pack. This was her family, her place. She belonged here and she was glad to have this small token to remind her that, even as a human, those bonds were not broken.

(Oh, not in the slightest. Trust me, she doesn't realize what she does most of the time XD)

"Oh," Aislinn lept back, phasing midair, half to hide her blush as well as her bare skin. She shook out her silver fur, enjoying the fact that it was getting easier and easier to phase from one form to another. She gently took Kasen's cloak in her teeth and dragged it from her shoulders, offering it back to him. Her eyes crinkled with amusement.

Sorry about that, She said, bashful yet too happy to actually care much. She was clumsy and not exactly at home in her own skin. Although nothing quite like this had ever happened to her, she had had her share of embarrassing, clumsy moments. She suspected this would not be the last of them. Nor the last time she was caught absolutely starkers after a change. She'd have to work on that particular skill.
