I'd rather meet FF7 characters from the game then try and play as them.

I guess it's 'cause I played 2 on Gcube, and 3's only on PS2, so the control scheme is vastly different...and the AI doesn't leave room for people to learn..

I had the oppportunity to play 2 on all three consoles, Gamecube, PS2 and X-Box. Gamecube was easily the best version but that was only down to the speed. PS2 had the most intuitive controls (or maybe that's just because I'm used to the PS joypad). X-Box was the prettiest but the controls were clunky and the speed not up to the massive processing power of the X-Box... cos Microsoft suck...
3 only came out on the PS2 ((an odd move)), they brought the graphix up to par ((VERY shiney; in game is almost up to FMV standard)). Once again the control system was intuitive... although slightly changed from 2. And the speed is much improved ((had not playd 2 in a long time and played it after buying 3... kinda got frustrated by the speed...)).
I agree that the AI does seem to have learning curve issues ((I'll frequently be heard shouting "learning curve!!" at Abyss)). But the game has so much scope... there is so much to do, to unlock. My housemates and I played it practically everyday for a year and still had not unlocked everything... and this is the combined efforts of 4 different players. It was not as if we were just not good enough... there was just so much to do!
((I'm bored again... can you tell?))

Xetrina_Xirtonia *pokes randomly, hoping to hit Sway* post! Might as well throw this here as well... Shard Okay guys, heads up. The RP is grinding to a halt again, only four people are posting on a semi regular basis; we need fresh blood. Korangar did a great job of kicking everyone into coming back not so long ago, making people post for the characters and such. But once again people have stopped posting... or they didn't ever post in the first place. Aerith has tried to pull people back in by allowing characters from other games and anime but her work has been to no avail. So! I wanna sort this out. If people have no objection I'd like to PM all the members and request that they either let us know that they no longer intend to play and so free thier characters up, or remind them we exist and make them come play. If people respond that they no longer want to play, or don't get back to me within, say, a week, I'll free up the character ((and/or delete their made-ups... it can be a bit of chore searching through a whole load of profiles to find the one you need to read)). I'll keep copies of profiles on my computer so if anyone does get back later, say life just got in the way for a long time or they were on holiday, computer broke, whatever, I can just repost thier profiles. Once this is done I'll get recruiting as best I can on the forums, keeping Korangar's policy of people having to post a bio of the original character they have picked I'm doing this mostly as a glorified practice in procrastination... so if you don't like it say so... *shrug* I'll find some other way to waste my time... fanfic maybe...

On the topic of SC3, which I just realized was the topic... Abyss is a cheap-shotting son of a
Also, I've made an upcoming version of Xetrina on SC3, so if I can get a picture of it (that isn't screwed over by a digital camera), I might post that in her profile when I update it.

Hmmm, that's an intresting idea... making characters for RP's on SC3. Mostly I just make anime characters. My Sephy was awesome!
Yes, Abyss pisses me off sometimes... I've been able to go all the way through without a single defeat... including against Olcadan in the Labrinth... with Raphael ((they gave him a stupid accent in SC3... I loved it in SC2)) and then get completely and utterly obliterated by Abyss... did it once though... Nightmare is ******** awesome!
Then my friend went away with his PS3 and I have to do it all over again on my own version as the git deleted the save file *tear*

Watched AC in Japanese for the first time in ages today. Cid doesn't make me grin half as much in Japanese. Although I think I prefer Vincent's Japanese VA over Steve Blum. I love Steve, think he's a great VA ((even if he does get everywhere!)) but he's not quite right for Vincent. I'd have prefered Crispin Freeman ((who plays Rude)) but I think Vincent is too close to Alucard for his liking...
If I ever pluck up the courage to go meet him at a convention I'll ask him...

Just a heads up... if you're trying to translate the Latin terms I use, do not use your own references. Due to a lack of information in my own source, I often use terms that have more than one definition, in some cases, the more common meanings may lead away from the intended meaning. For the most accurate translation, use this site. It only takes one word at a time, but it's the one I use, so there should be less mix-ups this way.

Just so it's known, I'm keeping Sephiroth, but haven't been using him because the current plot that is being used does not support his character type. So for the time being, let's just all pretend he's back in Midgar, doing stuff there. >.>

I think its a good idea.No problem here.But..Most the people that do have originals, is a small ammount and ...Let's see...o.o Anyone that has posted so far is pretty much all we have RPing here. There are tons of people that dont come here anymore..That will be hard to PM everyone indivitially. Can you PM all members in one step? o.o Andd.....meh. Since my plan on other games and animes failed...again..Shall I just kick that entire idea and just keep it simple Final Fantasy? Sept for the X-Men one, that stays since its seperate from the FF RP.
