Raesha I fI had 100k extra laying around, I'd host as art contest. whee But you already have one running, so... xp exactly xD xD...at first I was thinking to left it alone for aanother contest, but knowing myself I would spend it in little bits till that time xp

kiwigi You're better off spending a lot of gold on an artist you really want, than a bit of gold on some artists that just happen along your request thread. You're only going to get an opportunity like that once in a while, so you should make the best of it.
I've spent up to 200k on one piece of art, can't remember which for the life of me, but I'm really happy with it.
I'd rather spend real money on artists, though, because they totally deserve real money for the real time and real effort they put into their artwork.
Edit; I usually spend from 30-70k on one commission piece, on average. I have to agree. This is what i would do.

She made me a really great panda hat (complete with leaf) and she has a number of plushies that she's done that are really cute. She might be open to a commission, it can't hurt to ask.

i have a question...when we ask for something specific and we got another kind...(in that case i asked for oekaki art and i got photoshop art) what i have to do? gonk xd (cause i saw photoshop and oekaki art by this artist, and i was not in love with her photoshop, but LOVED the oekaki)... and she didnt said anything (her oekaki was not working) to me before she finished the draw...

If not, and you are really not happy with the piece, perhaps you can arrange to get another pic from her at a reduced price once her oekaki is working again? whee ;;
