Monty chose his words carefully and kept his expression well....blank. "I want to know why someone like him affects you so much that you have to look over your shoulder in search of an invisible phantom." So much for keeping it careful but the demon wasn't one to keep things sugar coated. "I want to know why such a male like him exists...."

Sitting straight in the before comfortable seat, Kalore began to simply look out at the road before him. At first it seemed as though he had clammed up, refusing to answer, but slowly words began to form as he tried to make sense of what Monty said while also forming what he needed to say. "Kristopher... he is my father... He is someone who I was never too close to... but he did love my mother very much, and she loved him. He... He has always been focused on his work, but dove deeper into it by the time my mother died. I... I don't know what to tell you other than he doesn't approve of the choices that I've made from what I've been given. He... He is not a bad person, but he... he isn't very nice or kind to me; never has been." Kalore continued to speak slowly, carefully. "I truly... I truly don't know what to say of him."

Monty considered that information and nodded slightly. "I see." Was all he said and dropped the topic...for now. Or rather it wasn't that he was dropping it as he was considering the next things he should question or say in concerns with Kristopher. Then another question popped into his mind. "What is his position within the palace?"

At first Kalore was happy; Monty had dropped the topic. Then he was proven wrong as Monty asked more about the b*****d. Sighing softly, he slowly began to sink into the seat, watching the road still. "I... I don't really know for sure. He used to be one of the head members of the council, but now that the council has been disbanded, I think that he's really just some... adviser? I don't know. Most people respect him highly. He... He's a good leader and so far he's made pretty good decisions." There were some things that Kristopher had said or done that were biased and pretty bad, but for the most part, he had had a huge hand in keeping all of the elvish nations prosperous. It killed him to admit it, but it was the truth. "Why are you asking about him, Monty?" The blonde's voice was softer as he glanced over at him. Why now?

The demon shrugged carelessly and kept his eyes on the road as they entered Area 6 and were going into a pretty rich area. "Curious is all. Just curious." Monty answered as he turned off into a rich neighborhood and towards a two story mansion that would have the celebrities drooling to have. Pulling in front of the gated enterance he looked at it. "Listen, when we enter don't go with anyone that's offering you something dazzling or what not, alright? The last thing you need is to involve yourself into something that's stolen. We are only here to see someone who will have what I need." Then he looked at Kalore. "Perhaps if your up for it, we can find an interesting piece for Kyoshi and Dusk's wedding present or even fabric you might not find anywhere else." The demon said as a way to keep the topic of Kristopher shut down but not truly gone.

Twitching, Kalore wasn't sure what to take of the change of subject. Should he be insulted that the other would think he was that easily distracted? Yes, Kalore could easily be distracted when he wasn't paying close attention or didn't need to, but he wasn't four. Sighing some, he simply nodded before glancing out the window. "I know not to do that, Monty.... but alright. If we find something then that's fine." At the moment, Kalore wasn't really comfortable enough to do anything other than just get this over with quickly. Why did Monty have to bring up Kristopher? He knew the subject wasn't dropped. Why now? Just why did Monty have to ask?

The gates in front of them opened slowly and the demon drove through at a easy speed until he parked in front of the mansion's door. Shutting the car off he got out and went around to open Kalore's door. "Could you braid your hair? If anything comes close enough they might take a chunk of it and sell it to the highest bidder." He said to the elf, as he turned to look at the opening doors of the large home where a butler in black and white outfit.
Stepping away from Kalore the demon turned around and started walking up the short stairs to the butler, waiting for Kalore as he spoke softly to the servant of his request. The butler bowed deeply and watched the elf with a blank look as he waited for him to join the redhead demon to be brought inside.

A shocked look crossed onto his face as Kalore just stared at the other. "My hairs not long enough for a braid anymore..." The shoulder length locks weren't long enough at all to be put into a braid, but he could look around and find some things to keep his hair back, pulling it up into a ponytail, but he twitched. It looked stupid... "If you can find me some bobby pins or something like that, I can make it to where my hair looks short..." Kalore never carried them, though. He hated his hair up. "And... just what kind of place is this, Monty? Where the hell are we?" Getting out, his arms were crossed, twitching as the other was just... staring. What the hell?

Monty stiffened and looked at Kalore. "It was habit. I'm used to you having long hair..." He turned and muttered something about still being in the past. Shaking his head, the demon motioned for the butler to lead them into the house. Grabbing Kalore's wrist lightly, he tugged him close to his side and lead them into the large house that was decorated with the most tasteful elegant designs that befitted a modern king.
Or perhaps a modern billionaire. The butler motioned for them to go off to the right, down the hallway to the third door. The butler opened the door that showed a set of stairs that went down. "Here sir." Was all the emotionless butler said. Monty nodded and walked first down the stairs, leading the way to the ground level of what seemed like a basement. Yet the only thing down there was a light that turned on at the motion from the demon with a door in front of them.
Moving forward he opened the door and inside was a lit up underground network where the soft hum of voices sounded, a rich scent of spices and the sounds of objects being moved to and from hands. Entering through the door Monty turned to look at Kalore, holding out his hand to the elf. "This is the Underground Black Market." He announced.
Surprisingly for something that was underground, it was well lit and well ventilated with a normal scent of air with that of spices and other things that were pleasant rather than something horrible like other places. "Remember stay close and ignore those who are offering you anything."

Kalore sighed, shrugging as they moved on. His hair would grow back, hopefully within a few years. He knew it would be down near his back in a year, but getting it back to where it was without some of the assists that the elves sometimes used for image... it would be difficult. That didn't matter now, however, as he took Monty's hand, smiling some at him. "I'll keep close to you and I won't mess with anything. I can look, though, right?" He raised a brow as they began their walk, his ears twitching every so often as his eyes slowly scanned the place. With the demon there, Kalore knew he'd be safe, but that didn't mean he could easily let his guard down. But the place was interesting and he couldn't help but glance around a bit more, curious even while holding onto Monty's hand and keeping close. "It's definitely... interesting." It smelled good; probably the biggest surprise.

The demon sighed softly. "You can look but no touch." He warned and walked down a pathway between booths that have interesting items ranging from harmless jewels that you wouldn't find in any jewerly store to weapons that you wouldn't find in militaries or radical groups, or maybe you would....To spices, exotic animals, colorful cloths and so on.
Yet where Monty was going was to a booth that had precious metals and weapons especially designed to combat other nonhuman creatures given that the trades down here were both human and nonhuman. Stopping in front of a tent looking structure, he knocked on the post sharply. The sound of a man's voice came from inside who told them to enter.
Monty tugged Kalore after him and pushed the enterance of the tent aside to enter with his elf. Inside looked like something from a harem tent with the pillows and rugs on the ground, curtains of sheer material with a table and chairs at the side with shelves of do-thats and what-nots. A man in a long robe came from a opening in the back to see who entered and stopped short.
"Monty? Is....Is that you old friend?" The young looking male came forward with his hair shoulder-length and black with his eyes a bluish green looking at the elf and demon with skin that looked like coffee. "You old demon. It's good to see you." He grinned and shook hands with the demon, then looked over at Kalore. "Hmm are you here to sell him? You know I have no interest in the males but I can sure use a helping hand before the others might offer." He said as the demon rolled his eyes.
"Considering that this isn't the kind of shop and this is my elf, he's not and never will be for sale. However, we are more interested in buying off some materials that are needed to help out a friend and his squad." The dark skinned male chuckled and bowed in apology to Kalore. "A thousand apologies. It's the way of this underground world. Please forgive me and sit down, I'll get my sister to write down what you need and the prices."
Nodding, the demon walked over to the chair with Kalore next to him. "I apologize for him. That is Selik. He's a expert in metals as it's not only his trade but his ability to control." The demon explained.

Kalore would have looked even if he was told that he couldn’t. Glancing around, ignoring those that spoke to him, the long legged elf had no problems following Monty as he kept close to him, amazed at the things that were around them. The smell had to be one of the more interesting things around, however, as he slowly tilted his head to the side. “It... It’s actually nice here.” Now, would he ever come here? Hell no. Even with Monty, he couldn’t help but feel tense and he knew just why it was that he felt so. Before they got to the tent with the man, he saw some people eying him. The elf wasn’t ignorant, he knew why it was happening but that didn’t stop him from ignoring and brushing them off. Not only would he kill anyone that bothered him, he was sure Monty would as well. At least, he hoped so...
His point was proven at the comment made from the dark skinned man before him, causing a twitch to come from Kalore. Eyes narrowed and a nearly deadly energy coming from the blonde, Kalore nodded curtly, muttering to the apologizing man, “It’s fine...” Was it sad that the mistake had been made before as well? Just not with Monty, of course, but it’d happened before. Sighing some, he trudged to the chair, sitting with Monty as he glanced over at the other with just a small smile on his face as the energy was beginning to dissipate. “Control over metals? Like... Eldin’s kind of control over things or...?” It was interesting to think about that. There was only a handful of people that controlled metal, one of them Kalore knew, and from what he knew, and hoped, Eldin wasn’t one of those people.
“What exactly are we here for, Monty?”

Monty nodded at Kalore's question. "Yes...Selik is capable of bending metal in all forms to his will. Which is why we are here since he sells metal in a different form than you would normally. Since Kyoshi needs materials that will not only benefit the ears of the elves but also keep them quiet, he is the man we need for the items." He explained as he heard shuffles and voices from the other room that was only separated by a curtain.
The cloth fluttered with the movement from the two people who were behind there as a petite, women with pale blonde hair, the same bluish-green of her brother in a fitting robe with a notepad and pencil in her hands as she went to sit down at the table. Selik came over and motioned at Monty and Kalore towards his sister. "Gentlemen, this is my young sister Malika. As you can tell from our names, our parents had a horrible sense of humor." He said with a grin as he sat down.
Malika rolled her eyes and looked at Monty and Kalore with a business look. "Tell me how much of what you want of the materials needed. I can give you a discount for being a loyal customer." "Then perhaps you can give me the limit of the finest and thinnest metal you have both in steel and black color. I would also like some tools that go with them so they don't get ruined." Malika nodded writing it down then went back into the other room to make sure that they had enough for them.
Selik watched them and ran a hand through his hair. "Would you both like something to drink and eat? It's going to take a while with that perfectionist there." He said with a wide grin that was totally careless and free given that he carried himself like a hippie....A good looking hippie.

Blinking some, Kalore nodded slowly. “That... is an amazing gift.” He smiled a bit before the others came in and he watched the two, amused as the difference in the siblings came up. It seemed like there were rarely two people that acted the same when working together. Himself and Rave came to mind. A small smile appeared on his face at the thought of him before he glanced back over at Monty, listening to what all he needed. The elf was clueless in what all came from all this or was needed for the guns that they wanted, but, eh, he wasn’t making them so he didn’t really have to know.
“Uh... maybe?” Kalore shrugged. He was fine without food or drink, so it was up to Monty. Plus, he was still a little annoyed at the selling comment. The elf really did try not to hold a grudge, but sometimes it was hard. Okay, he honestly didn’t try nearly hard enough now that he really thought about it... Oh well.

"Yes. Something cool and light until your sister comes back." Selik nodded and went into the back, the sound of pots and pans moving around, the crashing sound and Malika scowling her brother for being a clumsy oaf that has no business in the kitchen.
Coming back out he had a cheerful smile and placed a mug of iced tea, that ironically had the taste of strawberry, with some finger sandwiches. Looking at Kalore he tilted his head to the side. "I have to ask, how long have you known Monty? I've never seen him with anyone for more than a day or a week on a good day." Monty didn't say anything as he sipped his drink, letting Kalore answer the question. It wasn't that he didn't think he could answer it, it was just that he noted that Kalore seemed to have a hint of deadly aura toward Selik's normal nature to assume why someone as beautiful as Kalore would enter here.
