Any massive online game that claims to be an RPG is not. All online games lose the roleplaying aspect.
I did not make any spelling mistakes.

Find me a traditional RPG with any roleplaying aspects whatsoever. Even in vastly open games like Oblivion or NWN2 you are inevitably shoehorned down a path to discover a story that isn't your own and may not fit the character you are playing. The aspects that define conventional RPGs are still prevalent in MMO's, and as such, is free to use the title, even if the fundamental definition is wrong.

LOL yeah I'm back. Sorta. I'm gonna try and ease myself back into Gaia. Stuff's still not quite where it should be, but it's better. I almost have a handle on life and , God willing, should be able to start RPing again. horray!
Wow is crap. Pure and unfiltered. That game attracts asshats almost as quickly as Halo. The difference being in Halo you can sometimes still kill them if they're on your team.
Yeah I agree, most MMORPGs and such have sorta lost the whole RPG element. I still play analog though. Huzzah for the old school methods! I've recently become attatched to a little group of virgin RPGers. We've begun an AD&D campaign. They've elected me DM and I must admit it's a strange experience to be on the other side of the screen for once. The only real problem we've had so far is players over-playing their alignments. Example: I am chaotic evil and you are lawful good....therefore I think it's a good idea to halt all useful play while I smash in your head with this mace!
Oh yeah, and we have a token do-nothing. lol I love the group though. They have personality.

And Jar, Jeez, no need to get so offended. Pft. Maybe on your server. Alliance sucks balls on Shadow Council. 13-year-olds, the whole lot of 'em. Go into a General chat and all it is is DBZ and Naruto topics. It's sickening after awhile... I couldn't make it past level 10 on any of my Alliance characters without wanting to gouge my eyes out from the general chat (this is before i learned how to ignore it) and then I got tired of level 60s running around and challenging my level 10s to duels. It was stupid. PS: HAPPY BIRTHDAY LANDA! *glomp*

Okay, yeah. I was swamped by a sudden surge of busy. I'm posting up the RP tomorrow FOR REALS this time.
Also: Horde rules, alliance drools! Trolls > Anything. My main is a 70 blood elf paladin but that's just because of class restriction. I can't be a horde paladin without being a blood elf.
Oh man, though. If trolls could be paladins...

Yep. I have a several books and character sheets in .pdf form that I could send to everyone and a good amount of prestige as well as base classes too.
