The elf watched him, blinking. “All I know about demons is that they’re from a place called Hell that’s supposed to be all hot and horrible for people and that they have a lot of power depending on the type.” He wasn’t lying. Kalore’s people didn’t believe in Hell and they didn’t believe in the threat of demons. There was punishment for what was done, but because they lived nearly an ‘eternity’, to think of something in that sense didn’t set as horribly for them. Their punishments were just, at least to them, but now that Monty spoke... it did make a little sense. “And that works on anyone? In any thing?”

Monty sighed softly and kept silent as he tried to think of a way to explain it without giving out too much. The reason for that was because he didn't want the elf to be freaked out by how powerful he can be and what he was compable of. The last thing he wanted was for Kalore to think that he might manipulate him in such a way and do things against his very will...Which was close to what demons and angels could do but it wasn't exactly messing with the will but more along the lines of persuasion and suggestions as well as incentive to give either to the good or bad of it.

Kalore took the silence strangely. He wasn’t upset about it, but there was something strange on how quiet the other got. Was it bad that he didn’t know about demons? Most people knew something about them, but it wasn’t like demons were a normal thing in Ellwood or Dark Haven. The elf actually felt bad that he didn’t know anything about them. Glancing over at Monty, he asked about just that. “Is it bad that I don’t know anything, Monty?” He frowned, tilting his head some. “I... I know you’re powerful but... but just how strong?”

Monty blinked, having been brought out of his deep thinking when he looked at Kalore quickly and then back at the road, a small smile on his lips. "It's not bad Kalore. Why would you ask that? I was just trying to think of a way to better explain this without scaring you because...I don't want that even though my manners are nothing to be desired. As for how powerful I am? Very." That was as extent as he was going to get in describe his power.

“Well...” Kalore squirmed for a moment, sighing before he shook his head. “I don’t know why it would be bad, but I can’t help but wonder about it.” He glanced back over at the man, smiling as they were getting closer to the castle. Without even thinking about it, there was a badge in his hand, pressed against the window so that they were waved through. Old habits... most of the time he didn’t even need it to get in because of how well known he was, but a car was a bit different than him just walking in. Oh well. As they went to the ‘parking area’, though barely one because there were only a handful of cars there, he guided him to the ‘residential’ part of the castle. Already preparations were being made for a wedding. Apparently everyone knew how fast their Queen would want to take things.
“we don’t have demons and things in our religion, so it feels weird to hear people speak about Hell, Heaven, all those things and just not be... moved. It’s... it makes me feel a bit shunned in a way.” He blinked, his emerald eyes showing a bit of confusion as he glanced back over at the other. “But... oh well.” With a smile, he stretched his arms back. “You’re powerful... like... what makes you so powerful?” That may have been all Monty was going to say, but that wasn’t the end of Kalore’s curiosity.

The demon shrugged slightly as he was shown by Kalore where to park, noticing the activity going on for the wedding. Parking the car the demon turned to look at Kalore with a blank expression. "You shouldn't feel shunned when you know nothing about greater powers that lurk outside your elven world. If anything, it's better that way because if you remember, Sin did bring a taste of hell to both sides, imagine that but twenty times worse in hell with the population. Some parts are more civil and controlled while others are just.....chaotic." Leaning close Monty kissed his cheek. "And you have to work hard to know how powerful I am brat."

Kalore smiled a bit, nodding some at what the demon had said. It did make sense that it could be seen as a good thing that he didn’t know that much about Monty’s world, but at the same time, some people probably wanted to use that against him. He didn’t want that to happen again. Sighing some, he let the depressing thought leave him as he glowered, leaning over to pinch the demon’s cheek. “Oh? I have to earn it? Then you have to earn taking a dancer home, little demon.” Kalore smirked before kissing Monty quickly, soon getting out of the car, hips swaying as he walked to the castle. “Come on! We can’t have the Queen waiting!”

The demon blinked and twitched. Growling softly he got out of the car and walked after Kalore catching up to him to wrap his arm around Kalore's waist to stop him and pullled him back against his body. Pressing his lips against the elf's ear he growled softly and glared a bit. "Then perhaps I should make sure you don't interfer in me taking home my dancer...."

Gasping, Kalore’s eyes widened as he felt the demon’s arms around him. “U-Um...” This wasn’t expected. He didn’t know what he thought about Monty doing this in public, but normally before in Area he never cared, but here at the castle... there were people here that he could get in trouble with. Biting his lip gently, he shivered some, touching his arm. “And how will you make sure I don’t interfere, hmm? Dusk is demanding that I help...” He smirked, looking over at the demon, nearly baring his neck for him intentionally. No one was around that he cared about yet, so as long as one of those windows didn’t show a brunette...

Monty smirked and reached up with his free hand to brush down his neck gently and placed a kiss on the soft skin ever so lightly. "Believe me Kalore I can make sure you don't interfere...You might even like my method of doing so." He murmured in his ear lightly, nuzzling the soft sensitive flesh.

Kalore’s eyes widened as he bit his lip gently. “M-Monty... um.... but I need to work on the wedding... Unless you want to work on it alone?” He dared to raise a challenging brow, glancing over at the other as he fought not to shiver at the touch on his neck. Was that a moved curtain? The elf’s eyes drifted over to a window that he thought for sure showed someone looking at them. Was that Kristopher? He stiffened before gently touching Monty’s hand. He shouldn’t let it bother him; really, he shouldn’t. But after seeing that b*****d yesterday... he knew he’d be tense for a while; especially being in the castle for a while now to help with all this. “Monty... no keeping me from this.” Kalore smiled a bit, leaning over and kissing his cheek. “we need to help the brides... oh, sorry, the bride and groom...” Oops, such a slip.

Monty stopped and sensed the tension come back into Kalore and slowly moved away from the elf and closed off his amusement to nod. "Of course. I'll make sure he doesn't know about that slip up." He murmured and motioned for Kalore to lead the way. There was something going on with Kalore and perhaps it was just him but he was slightly cautious.

Surprised as Monty moved away, Kalore frowned as he looked at him, confusion on his face. He knew he wasn’t the best at hiding things, but was it that obvious? Biting his lip, he leaned over and gently kissed his cheek. “Thanks. I don’t want him to know.” he gave the other a small smile before they moved into the castle, passing by most people just doing their job, the occasional servant bowing the Kalore, but for the most part it went without event. So close to Dusk’s chamber, though, they weren’t exactly stopped but... “And who is this, Kalore?” Leaning against the wall, flanked by two of the council members, seemingly in meeting, the brown haired Kristopher stood, tilting his head to the side; just watching his son and... friend come into the castle.
At first, the two didn’t look at all related, but there were those details that were there, making it obvious of the relation. Though hair color was different, their eyes were nearly identical, just different in feel. With his brown hair covering his eyes, Kristopher, thanks to the elves being how they were, looked like a cousin until a closer look was given. The angles of their faces were nearly identical, the length of neck, the way they carried themselves... it was all the same. But the cold look in Kristopher’s eyes were nothing to the amused, flirting look that took a home in his son’s. It was apparent on what each thought of the other.
Kalore stopped, looking over at the other before giving a slow, small bow. “Sir... this is... Monty. He’s helping with the wedding.” The woman and man on either side of the brunette frowned, watching Kalore and Monty with strange looks. Men helping with a wedding? It wasn’t normal, but they weren’t in any position to speak of it. This wasn’t a royal matter; it was a family one. Kristopher simply raised a brow. “Hmm... I see...” He watched them as Kalore tugged on Monty’s arm, trying to get them there before Kristopher decided to speak more or worse, Monty answered him. Giving a glare, the elf went past them and simply lengthened his stride. He could feel identical green eyes drilling holes into his back as he continued to walk, but he wouldn’t stop walking until halls and halls and halls separated them. Finally stopping near Dusk and Kyoshi’s main space, his eyes closed for a moment. “Um... if you... if you don’t want to help with the wedding but possibly just see what else needs to be done... Dusk and I and possibly Kyoshi might be discussing a bunch of um... boring things. I’d love for you to help, though, but... but only if you wanted to.” Why now? Why was Kristopher showing up now of all times? Normally Kalore could be ignored. Why not now?

Monty mentally sighed but stiffen when a voice asked Kalore a question and looked at the brown haired male. There something familiar about him and with a critical look, ignoring the other two elves that flanked him he noted that there was some similarities between him and Kalore. However, the demon couldn't for sure make the connection except through the eyes. They both had green eyes only this brown haired male's eyes were nothing close to showing warmth or anything that Kalore's eyes expressed.
Though Monty wanted to respond to the blasted elf since he couldn't direct that question of who he was to him, he kept silent giving him and the other three a cold, distasteful look. Kalore dragged him away from the three elves, especially the dark haired male who had similiarities to Kalore and finally arrived to their destination before interruption. The demon raised a brow at Kalore. "I'll help you if you answer me one thing. Who was that?"

Stopping in front of the door, Kalore didn’t answer for a while. He didn’t know what to say without sounding nearly ridiculous but... Closing his eyes, shoulders slumped, the man muttered for a moment. “That... That’s Kristopher. I really... I don’t... I don’t like talking about him.” He and Monty were trying not to keep things from one another, though, or at least not quite as much as they had before. Sighing some, he still didn’t look at the other, just concentrating on the door. Monty already knew about his mother’s death, knew what his aunt did, and knew about Kyin. But he didn’t know about Kristopher. “He’s... He’s my father.”
