"Just a few more..." As a black, almost translucent marble silently landed on the cobblestone street and rolled into a shadowy corner. Blood had spent most of the day traversing the broken down town he was in and was setting up an information system. Holding one up he caught a reflection off the surface of..."Ahh, Newcomers" Before dropping it and continuing away.
These small marbles would *catch* light reflections almost as a prism would, but instead of altering the angle of the reflection, these marbles infinity looped the light and only let it out when he touched it. This allowed Blood to pick one up and see everything that happened in that one area for a day.
Hurrying to finish his work he turned down an alley to drop one more and came across one of the newcomers he saw earlier fiddling with a couple pistols, "Hmmm..." in the progress of walking past the man with no confrontation, he quietly slid the last marble down the inside of his cloak and watched as it slid out the bottom and rolled into a corner. " What better way to test if these things work then on someone as interesting as him... "

Sax yawned as he walked, kicking up small clouds of dust as he doggedly marched through the sunset-colored desert landscape. He hadn't seen anyone since leaving the small town behind, and the only large animals he had encountered had been far off in the distance. Nothing dangerous or particularaly interesting.
He wasn't in any real hurry, so he decided to pitch camp at the first likely spot he could find. It was one of the few perks of travelling completely by oneself: you could set your own schedule.
A small, rocky streambed provided an ideal spot. The brush surrounding it was tough and in places thorn-infested, but otherwise excellent cover. No large animals or hell beasts seemed to be present, and the water wasn't contaminated. In all, it was surprising no one else had built a house or inn here.
Sax pushed through the scraggly brush, leading with a shoulder and keeping his arms folded. His tough riding coat handled the thorns and sharp twigs easily enough, and he found himself in a small clearing right up alongside the stream. He sank to his knees and refilled his canteen in the clear water, thankful that he wouldn't have to ration it while he was there.
Once he had cleared off the ground, he proceeded to tie his camoflage tarp up in the brush, weighing the corners down to form a comfortable lean-to. He'd gotten pretty good at setting it up over the years. That done, he quickly built up a small fire. Wild animals were usually afraid of it, and hell beasts were rare in the wilderness, so he felt safe enough using one for light, warmth, and cooking. It got a bit nippy out here at night, and there was no sense in eating a cold meal if he didn't have to.
Once he had finished setting camp, and a small meal pack was cooking over the fire, Sax lay down on the ground next to the firepit and watched the stars appear in the night sky.
Different religions attributed different meanings to stars. The space program hadn't been too far along in mapping them when it had been halted by the massive, continuous, and expensive holy wars. At the moment, Sax was content to just enjoy the clear view out here away from city lights. He didn't know many constellations, and his sense of direction made navigation by them uncalled-for. He simply liked observing them, occasionally watching for something out of the oridinary, like a shooting star or a planet.
A sudden splash sent him scrambling to his feet. Something was trying to cross the creek toward him from the shadowed far bank.
It sounded large, but Sax couldn't tell much more. He grabbed his glaive and stood with back to the fire. If there was only one, he would probably be fine.
The shape splashing across the stream resolved into a two-tailed hellhound. It was about the size of a wolf, but with sleeker, orange and black fur. It also had evil, glowing eyes that hungered for the death of other creatures. Its yellow, broken teeth dripped disgusting, fainly toxic saliva as it snarled at Sax.
The hellhound cleared the stream, scrambling frantically up the bank, and immediately launched itself at Sax. He swung his glaive, hoping to kill it quickly and save himself some effort. The silver, mirror-like head slashed into the thing's flank as Sax twisted to the side, but the hellhound didn't die. It screamed in pain and sprawled on the ground, kicking up dust as it dragged itself back to its feet, then turned for more.
Sax tried a different approach. The next cut hit the thing on the shoulder, rendering that limb useless. Before the repulsive thing collided with him, he planted a solid kick on it's neck, driving it to the side. It collapsed in the dust, and Sax promptly brought down his glaive in a heavy chop, as if he were cutting wood, severing its spine. The creature thrashed for a few seconds, until Sax grabbed a suitably heavy rock and crushed its head.
Once he had disposed of the body, Sax lay back down and examined the poster for the Cruxis that he had torn down in the village.
He was indifferent towards most major religions. As a matter of principle, that included the up and coming Cruxis. He'd seen a lot of the worse side of religion, and he had likely been put off it forever early on. He preferred to place faith in other things than dieties and churches. It was too easy for them to either become corrupt or fanatical. The Cruxis theology actually sounded good to him, but he was still hesitant. Things that sounded that good often had a catch.
Still, a job was a job, and he probably didn't need to be a follower to get work from them. He needed the money, and a stable job would be nice for a change.
Sax finished his dinner, extinguished the fire, and crawled under the lean-to, laying his glaive alongside his sleeping bag. As he fell off to sleep, his last thoughts were of how he would convince the Cruxis to hire him.

He didn't want trouble, but preferred to be prepared. He had bigger things to take care of.

Once all of the needed information had been burned into Steed's mind he would step back towards the shrine and place his hand gently on top of Kikyo's symbol. The symbol would glow for a brief moment and as the light subsided Steed was gone.
He was now in Hell, overlooking Kikyo's fortress from a cliff in the distance. His body would shift and mold into the appearance of Baldr before he made a move. He was now, six foot six inches tall and weighed around two-hundred and fifty pounds of pure muscle. His hair was spiked back and white in color now. Letting out a slight groan the demon would blow away into the wind and reform at the gates of Kikyo's fortress.
With one quick motion he would push open the gates of Kikyo's fortress and begin his walk in. He was looking for Aiden right now and wasn't sure where in the fortress he would be but knew that as long as he kept his eyes open he would find him quickly.

Whistling contently to himself Blood turned the corner and disappeared from sight, leaving the marble to catch something interesting. Molding his footsteps in sync with another passerby he suddenly stopped and retraced his steps almost to the entrance of the alleyway, quietly leaning against wall he pulled out a yo-yo and began the up down motions of the toy.
"Very skittish individual...huh"

Putting his guns down, Sera noted the marble and decidedly gave him nothing interesting to observe, nothing at all. Instead, he just simply leaned more into the building he was resting against.

Blood started playing with the strings on the yo-yo making different symbols till he made the right one. As the last piece of string fell into a pentagram it froze in place and flickered black and white a few times, "Now whats so interesting about that alleyway..." His own vision flickered around the edges before going into a tunnel vision and blinking out. A few seconds later an obscured picture came into focus of a wall..."Gah!"
About a minute of playing around with it the marble rolled forword and caught a divit in the road causing it to go even farther then expected and bumped up against someones foot. "s**t...it was that newcomers foot"

Quite frankly, Sera didn't care. Or at least acted like it. If he was to do something, it would draw suspicion. 3 more minutes and then I go and join him. Till then, he would just keep his position and not bother with anything.

"....what?" There was no way the person didn't notice a moving marble straight into their foot. Blood was getting more and more intrigued by this random person standing in the middle of an empty alleyway that he decided to do something a little reckless. "Got balls anyone?"
The marble floated off the ground before stopping in front of the man's face, hanging there for a split second long enough for Blood to remember the face if he ever saw it again. Then, without warning the light that the marble was absorbing was reversed, causing a flash bang that lit up the alleyway. Shortly after the marble shot forward and embedded itself in the wall next to the mans head.
After a few seconds to let the man recover from the flash Blood was back to using his own eyes and was starting to count on his own fingers. "If he screams, this was a waste of my time...if not. He has a purpose..."

A levitating marble was more than enough cause to act, and acted Sera did. Not necerarrily annoyed, but cautious, Sera waited till the marble was at his "face." If it is recording anything, it will see nothing more than this doll like, black eyed, black haired "face" darkened by the shadow of a brown cowl. Truly, nothing to really note.
When the thing went to zip off, that is when Sera choose to take action. He simply leveled a pistol off, aimed, and snip, a low flash, silenced shot zipped out of the barrel at the marble. Out of habit, he reloaded the gun and prepared for anything that may come next.

LadyDraka Kikyo set Damian down nearby her and looked back over at Nathan. "Look at me!! Can't you see? I'm tired, stressed, and I'm dying. When a god is dying, they aren't a god anymore. I'm just here. Easy. That's what's wrong."
"I can't say. She's in trouble." Nathaniel looked back into her ruby eyes with a slight grin as an idea popped into his head. "then lets leave. lets not stay here anymore. lets go live on earth together. pick the most beautiful spot and live there, anywhere you want. if ever there was a chance it's now. we can take Damian with us. and whenever Scarlett or Aiden needs our help here they could ask us. what do you think?" he spoke energetically and seemed filled with hope coz he knew that hell wasn't good for Kikyo. it was so harsh on her and he just wanted her happy.
Jeohin sighed as he looked at her. he didnt know exactly what to do in this situation. "do you want to go and talk somewhere not so full of people?"

Emily pulled back from him. "You don't understand. You'll kill her."

"I would but he's never around. I'll think over it." Kikyo picked up Damian and walked away.
"What do you want to know?"
