Monty nodded and moved to lay down next to Kalore, pulling him close a bit. "Then little by little we can teach other something. How about that?" He asked, having dropped the question and the thought of Kalore's passing cloud for something else that would keep their fragile relationship going. "Tomorrow, are you going to start planning the wedding?"

He kept pressed back against Monty, nodding before laying back more comfortably, a small smile on his face. “I think that that’ll work out the best.” He leaned back and kissed Monty gently, comfortable in the demon’s arms. It was a bit strange to think that someone would be comfortable with a demon, but by now, the thought just never occurred to the man. Instead, he considered what Monty brought up, nodding. “I have to work on the wedding and I need to have it done soon. I’ll work on it tomorrow, make the bridesmaids dresses and then the flower girl things and all the minor outfits. Dusk’s outfit is going to take the most concentration, so I’m going to wait to do that one... just that way all the small stuff is out of the way and prepared.”

Monty's red eyes smiled a bit at Kalore as he listened to him. "Then it sounds like you have your work cut out for you. If you like I can help with invitations and present you and Dusk the menu from Joker. Someone has to keep him in line so he doesn't have to go overboard." The demon rolled his eyes at the thought of the insane doctor fussing over the many foods he wants to make. "Could you just give me a list of what you all like, including Dusk and then it can be worked out with what he wants to do....."
Looking at Kalore he was comfortable with the elf in this moment and like this with clothes still between them. Of course he personally enjoyed feeling the close connection when they were nude but this was also nice and it made him think that if they continued to build up in both areas of the relationship it can work.

With or without clothes, Kalore was comfortable with Monty. Having the clothes separating them, however, brought a sense of something else that he hadn’t thought he would feel. It almost felt more comfortable for he knew that they were lying like this because of comfort, because of care, not because of the tired exhaustion that came after sex. It was nice, really. A grin appeared in the midst of his thoughts at Joker’s addition to their conversation, nodding. “I’ll find out what everyone wants. It’ll be all elvish dishes with a small bit of other-land food, but since it’s supposed to be formal... then it’ll probably just be normal like that.”

Monty shook his head. "Let it all be elvish food that will cater to the stomaches of the invites guests so that they can have a taste of this land without having to turn away from it. Given that the food has alot of herbs and spices I'm sure that others would enjoy it with the right amount for everyone eating. I think if you give the list of the most popular dishes that best represents the elven world, you will have everyone falling at your feet in awe." He murmured, closing his eyes in total contentment, the sort of contentment you only feel when you know that you had the right person there with you and just shared your thoughts without holding back.

Surprised, Kalore smiled at him before snuggling against him, closing his own eyes. With the lights dimmed from it being night already, the elf felt himself beginning to doze off before he sighed and turned, facing Monty now to snuggle against him more comfortably. “I’ll do that tomorrow... I’ll get Dusk’s favorite foods, get a list of good drinks from Kit, and think of the things that are most common. But for now... why don’t we just rest, Monty?” He looked up, still smiling. I think that today has been... long. Very, very long...”

Monty opened his eyes to look at Kalore and kisses his nose. "Then let's rest and forget for but a moment that the world exists out these walls. I think it would make this all the more comfortable than having concerns and such on the mind." He brought the elf protectively close to his body and nuzzled his hair. "Besides, I think I'm starting to enjoy this sense of...normal....with you." he murmured softly.

Kalore watched the other with a small smile. “I... I like this sense of normality too...” It was surprising to think so, as he had considered before, but as he kissed the other’s chin, comfortable against him, Kalore realized that he had enjoyed this since they started lying down together. Sighing softly, a small smile remained on his face as he closed his eyes, snuggled protectively and comfortably against Monty. “Good night, Monty... Even if we don’t fall asleep straight away... this really is... nice.” It was so easy to forget everything around them. As Kalore felt himself drifting off to the dreamworld, he remained snuggled, safe, against his demon.

Monty nodded as he layed there, watching Kalore slowly drift off to sleep and just...watched him sleep. There was a time when Monty would do so after they had a long exercise session in the bed just to see the elf at peace from the world and it's cruelties. He did it now and felt a pang of regret at having done so much damage towards him. Yet he knew that it was going to be a long road ahead of them to work out all the clinks of the relationship before it was smooth sailings.
However the demon did eventually fell asleep into a peaceful and half way dreamless sleep with his elf safely tucked against him. The morning came but the demon didn't wake up with the sun that was softly shining through the window. If anything the demon had his body shifted to spoon with Kalore and snored. Like he snored like some demon for sure.

By morning, Kalore had decided that he was going to become a vampire.
As the light shone on his face, a soft sound came from him as he snuggled against the demon, his back to the annoying light. It wasn’t doing much, however, as Kalore was a bit difficult to keep sleeping once he began to wake up, unless he was exhausted. After the peaceful night, however, he knew that he wasn’t going to be able to use that excuse as his eyes fluttered open, another annoyed sound coming from him. “Damn sunlight...” Why couldn’t Monty have put them in a closet or something with no damn light? Stupid sun...

Despite snoring and sleeping, Monty heard the elf and nipped at his nose. "Then put the covers over your head, brat." He mumbled in a gruff voice as he breathed heavily and settled back into a light sleep with the lovely elf against him comfortably.

Kalore glowered as he glanced up, “But you’re snoring too damn loudly.” Giving the other a gentle shove, the man grumbled before he did as he was told and stole all the covers, wrapping himself up comfortably with the covers over his head. In his own little cocoon, it was surprising on how comfortable it was... still pressed against Monty, however, the warmth that came from both blanket and fire demon was enough to lull him to another gentle dozing. Maybe he could fall asleep? But they did have much to do that day, so maybe it wasn’t the best idea...

Monty's eyes snapped open and growled at all the covers were taken, even his own. Sitting up he hit the elf with his pillow, looking like a disgruntle child who had to be woken up by their parents. "You damn brat. Give me back my cover....." Then again since it was morning perhaps it would be a good time to get up and right to work on the plans ahead of them.

Whining, Kalore curled up more into the covers. “No!” Awake and fully aware, or nearly aware, of what the two had to seem like, the elf knew that it was best if they woke up fully and actually did something productive that day. But then again, he really was comfortable... and Monty had hit him with a pillow! That jerk. Kalore wished that he knew the size of the bed better so that he could roll away, but knowing his luck, he’d probably end up on the floor... again. It had happened before and it wouldn’t be good to have it happen again.

Monty growled loud and well....He kicked Kalore hard to where he would fall off the bed. It wasn't like the elf was going to get hurt with all those covers wrapped around him like some damn cocoon right? Getting up from the bed he stomped away to enter the bathroom. "Then stay there tangled for all I care." As much as he wanted to sound grumpy, he sounded a bit amused by all this.
